Honda's 70cc and 100cc bikes are the cheapest way in
Three Honda bikes cost under Rs 215,000: the CD 70 at Rs 159,900, the CD 70 Dream at Rs 170,900 and the Pridor at Rs 211,900. All three are kick start. They suit short daily trips and buyers watching every rupee.
Honda CD 70: Rs 159,900

The CD 70 weighs 82 kg dry and has a 72 cc engine. It comes in blue, red and black. It is still the cheapest bike on any maker site we have read. See the Honda CD 70 spare parts price list if you want to know what upkeep costs.
Honda CD 70 Dream: Rs 170,900

The same 72 cc engine and the same 82 kg dry weight as the CD 70, with different styling. You pay Rs 11,000 extra for that. Colours are red, black and silver. Buy it only if you like how it looks, because the numbers on the page are almost the same.
Honda Pridor: Rs 211,900

The Pridor has a 97.1 cc engine, 96 kg dry weight and 156 mm of ground clearance. That is 20 mm more than the CD 70, which helps on rough roads. It costs Rs 52,000 more than the CD 70. Colours are red, black and blue.
The CG 125 family is where most riders should look
The plain CG 125 costs Rs 238,500. Adding self start costs Rs 48,400 more, and the Gold paint adds another Rs 10,000. The CB 125F is a different kind of bike with a much higher price of Rs 396,900.
Honda CG 125: Rs 238,500

This is the simple kick start CG 125, in black or red. It weighs 100 kg dry. It is only Rs 26,600 more than the Pridor, so if you are near that budget, it is worth stretching.
Honda CG 125S: Rs 286,900

The self start version, in red or black. Atlas Honda names its page CG 125 Self. Pay the extra Rs 48,400 if you start the bike many times a day, or if a kick start is hard for you.
Honda CG 125S Gold: Rs 296,900

The same self start engine, at 108 kg dry, with gold styling. Rs 10,000 more than the CG 125S, for looks only as far as the listed figures show.
Honda CB 125F: Rs 396,900

A modern style 125 with a 124.1 cc engine and self start, weighing 122 kg dry. It comes in blue, red and black. It costs Rs 110,000 more than the CG 125S with the same size of engine, so you are paying for style and equipment rather than for a larger engine.
Honda sells one electric scooter and two 150cc bikes
The ICON e at Rs 419,900 is Honda's electric option, with a claimed 53 to 65 km of range. The CG 150 costs Rs 459,900. The CB 150F costs Rs 499,900 on the home page and Rs 503,900 on its model page.
Honda ICON e: Rs 419,900

A 48V 30.6Ah electric scooter with a 1.58 kW rated motor. Honda claims 53 km in standard mode and 65 km in Econ mode. Colours are red, black and white. Our Honda ICON e page has the range and warranty in full.
Honda CG 150: Rs 459,900

A retro style 149.2 cc bike with 11.9 PS of power and 171 mm of ground clearance. Colours are green and two tone red. It costs Rs 50,000 more than the Suzuki GS 150, the closest rival we could price from a maker site.
Honda CB 150F: Rs 499,900

The top petrol Honda: 149.2 cc with a balancer, 124 kg dry and 168 mm of clearance. It comes in blue, red, black and silver. Read the warning at the top of this page about its two listed prices.
