The Honda ICON e: electric scooter costs Rs 419,900 on Atlas Honda's own website, as we read it on 24 October 2026, and Honda rates its range at 53 km in Standard mode and 65 km in Econ mode. The battery and motor carry a 24 month warranty, the body and frame only six months. Below are the full specifications, what a charge costs at your electricity rate, and the warranty conditions that catch people out.

Honda's warranty policy for the ICON e: is published only as an Urdu image on the product page, so most buyers never read it before paying. We read it line by line. Two of its 21 exclusions concern how you charge and store the battery, and those two decide whether a battery claim succeeds.

The ICON e: costs Rs 419,900, the price of almost three CD 70s

Atlas Honda lists one price for the ICON e:, Rs 419,900, in red, black or white. That is Rs 260,000 more than the petrol CD 70 at Rs 159,900, and Rs 133,000 more than the CG 125 self start at Rs 286,900, both on Honda's own pages.

CD 70PetrolRs 159,900Rs 260,000 less
CD 70 DreamPetrolRs 170,900Rs 249,000 less

CG 125 S (self start)PetrolRs 286,900Rs 133,000 less

The price gap is the whole argument. An electric scooter saves on fuel every month, but it starts Rs 260,000 behind the CD 70. Whether it catches up depends on how far you ride and what you pay for a unit of electricity. The motorcycle price list for October 2026 has the other makers.

The battery holds 1,468.8 Wh, enough for 53 to 65 km

Honda's specification sheet lists a 48 volt, 30.6 Ah battery, which is 1,468.8 watt hours, or about 1.47 units of electricity. The product page gives the range as 53 km in Standard mode and 65 km in Econ mode, and a rated efficiency of 34.7 km per kWh.

TyresTubeless, 90/90-12 front, 100/90-10 rear
Riding capacityTwo people, 150 kg
Dry mass86 kg on the product page

The specification PDF gives the weight as 87 kg, one kilogram more than the product page. It also lists tyre pressures: 22 psi front and 29 psi rear for a rider alone, and 22 psi front and 33 psi rear with a passenger. Every light, from the headlight to the number plate lamp, is LED.

A full charge costs about Rs 59 to Rs 88 at common unit rates

A full charge from empty takes about 1.47 units at the battery. At Rs 40 a unit that is about Rs 59, and at Rs 60 a unit about Rs 88. Riding costs roughly Rs 1.15 to Rs 1.73 a kilometre at Honda's 34.7 km per kWh.

These are our sums, and the two rates are examples, not tariffs. Your real rate depends on your slab and the taxes on your bill, which the electricity unit price by slab sets out. Charger losses are not included, because Honda does not publish the charger's efficiency or a charging time on the product page.

  1. Find the cost of one unit on your last bill, taxes included.
  2. Multiply it by 1.47 for a full charge from empty.
  3. Divide your monthly kilometres by 34.7 to get units a month.
  4. Multiply those units by your unit cost.
  5. Add a margin of about 10 per cent for charging losses.

A rider doing 30 km a day for 26 days covers 780 km. That is about 22.5 units, or about Rs 900 a month at Rs 40 a unit and Rs 1,350 at Rs 60. One extra point matters: those units sit on top of your household use, and they can push your home into a higher slab. For a deeper comparison of home and station rates, see what it costs to charge an electric vehicle at home or at a station.

The warranty is 24 months on battery and motor, six months on body

Honda's warranty policy says the body parts and frame warranty ends six months after the purchase date, and the battery and motor warranty ends 24 months after it. The bike must be bought from an authorised dealer.

The conditions, as printed in Urdu on the product page, are strict:

  • You need the original warranty certificate and the owner's manual and service guide for any claim.
  • Honda repairs or replaces the faulty part. It does not replace the whole scooter.
  • The speedometer and odometer must work throughout the warranty. A repaired one voids the claim.
  • All free services, and the paid periodic maintenance, must be done at an authorised dealer and written into the warranty certificate.
  • Online warranty registration at the time of purchase is required, and the dealer is responsible for doing it.
  • A lost warranty certificate is not reissued.

Honda adds that its decision on a warranty claim is final. That line reads harshly, but it is printed on the page, so keep every service stamp.

Two battery rules can void your claim

The exclusion list has 21 items. Two are about the battery and are easy to break by accident: a fault caused by storing the battery below 30 per cent charge is not covered, and neither is a fault caused by charging at low voltage or low current.

Both matter in Pakistan. A scooter left parked through a long trip can drain below 30 per cent. And charging during low voltage, which many homes see in summer evenings, falls under the second rule. Charge on a stable supply and do not park it near empty for weeks.

The other exclusions are the usual ones: accidents, floods and other natural disasters, racing or rental use, non-genuine parts or brake fluid, home modifications, extra electrical fittings, repairs outside an authorised dealer, tyre punctures, and paint damage from scratches. Wear items such as tyres, brake shoes, bushes, rubber and plastic parts are also outside the warranty.

Before you buy, it is worth checking whether a government subsidy applies. We could not confirm on an official page whether the ICON e: is eligible under the PM electric bike scheme, so ask the dealer to show you the scheme's list in writing.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the ICON e: product page, its specification PDF, the warranty policy images and the Honda homepage on atlashonda.com.pk on 24 October 2026. The charging cost figures are our arithmetic at example rates. We could not find a charging time, charger rating or battery replacement price on Honda's pages, and the operation guide PDF would not render as text.
