How to Get Free MBs on Telenor in Pakistan

Telenor lists two real sources of free MBs on 22 September 2026. The Sim Lagao offer gives free data and calls to numbers not used since 21 August 2026: dial *2222#, call 2222 or send FREE to 2222. The My Telenor app offers free MBs for opening it daily, plus rewards for its daily skill game and for recharging in the app. Any other "free Telenor MBs" offer should be treated as unproven until you see it on Telenor's own site or app.

We read Telenor Pakistan's Sim Lagao page, its Sim Lagao FAQ and the My Telenor app's Google Play listing on 22 September 2026. Free offers change fast and attract scams, so we list only what Telenor itself publishes, and we say plainly what we could not find.

How the Sim Lagao offer works

Sim Lagao is Telenor's offer to bring back numbers that have gone quiet. Telenor's page says customers who have not done any activity on their Telenor SIM since 21 August 2026 are eligible.

1. Put the old Telenor SIM in your phone.
2. Dial *2222#, or call 2222, or send the word FREE by SMS to 2222. Telenor says calling or texting 2222 costs 1 paisa.
3. Wait for the bonus. Telenor says it is posted within 2 hours of subscribing.
4. Check it with *999# for data, at Rs 0.24 including tax per check.

What you get is described in two ways on the same Telenor page, and we report both. The headline says 10GB of internet, usable from 12am to 7pm, with 3,000 Telenor minutes over 60 days. The eligibility section explains it more fully: 5,000MB (3,000MB of internet plus 2,000MB for WhatsApp and TikTok), posted twice, once on the day you subscribe and again after 30 days, and 50 Telenor minutes a day for 60 days. The two add up to the same 10GB and 3,000 minutes, but the second version tells you that part of the data only works for WhatsApp and TikTok.

Limits on the Sim Lagao offer

• No data from 7pm to midnight. Telenor says the free data cannot be used between 7pm and 12am.
• Daily minutes do not carry over. The 50 free minutes are posted each day and must be used that day.
• A call setup charge applies. Telenor lists Rs 0.125 plus tax, which it rounds to 15 paisa, on every call.
• AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan get less. Telenor says numbers in listed AJK and GB districts get only the minutes, not the data, and points them to separate pages.
• It can end any time. Telenor says it can change or withdraw the offer.

The Sim Lagao FAQ also refers to numbers unused for two months or more than 60 days. The main offer page uses a fixed cut-off date, 21 August 2026 when we checked on 27 September, and Telenor moves it forward from time to time. If you are not sure, Telenor says to call 2222 or send FREE to 2222 from the same number to check.

How to get free MBs in the My Telenor app

1. Install My Telenor from Google Play or the App Store and sign in with your Telenor number.
2. Open the app each day and look for the free MB reward. The Google Play listing says "Come on App Daily and Enjoy Free MB everyday".
3. Play the daily "Test your Skills" game for a reward, and check on Fridays for the "Blessed Friday" reward.
4. Recharge or buy offers inside the app when you need to. The listing says you get a free reward each time.

Telenor does not say how many MBs each reward gives, so we cannot tell you. Rewards in the app are usually small, and they are not a substitute for a bundle.

What we could not find

Some websites say upgrading a 3G SIM to 4G at a franchise gives free MBs. Telenor's sitemap has a 3G to 4G conversion page, but it is filed as "uncategorized" and was last changed in 2019. We found no current Telenor page offering free MBs for an upgrade. It may still happen at some franchises, but we cannot confirm it.

Safety warning about free MB offers

Fake "free Telenor internet" messages are common. They usually ask you to do one of three things. Refuse all three.

• Click a link and enter your number and a code. The code may be a one time password that lets someone into your accounts or subscribes you to a paid service.
• Dial a code with a phone number and amount in it. That is the Telenor balance share code, and it sends your balance to the scammer.
• Share the message with 10 friends to unlock the MBs. Real Telenor offers do not work that way.

Report fake offers as soon as you see them.

If a free offer did not arrive

Wait the full 2 hours Telenor gives for Sim Lagao. Then check *999#. If nothing arrived, call Telenor's helpline on 345, or 042-111-345-100 from another phone. Telenor's contact page says a call connected to an agent costs Rs 2.69 including tax. If you need more data than the free offers give, buy one of Telenor's monthly packages, and turn on Balance Saver with *342# so the free MBs running out does not eat your balance.
