How to Share Telenor Balance in Pakistan With Smart Share

To share Telenor balance, dial *1*1*923XXXXXXXXX*Amount# and press 1 to confirm. Telenor calls this Smart Share. You can send between Rs 20 and Rs 200 at a time, up to 10 times a day, and only from one Telenor prepaid number to another. Telenor lists a charge of Rs 7 including tax.
We read these rules on Telenor Pakistan's own Smart Share page on 22 September 2026. We cannot dial USSD codes ourselves, so we report the format and limits exactly as Telenor publishes them.

Telenor says the balance received can be used for calls, SMS or digital services. It also says the balance "will remain valid for the same time", so sharing does not give the receiver a new validity period.
Some websites say there is a daily cap of Rs 200 in total. That limit is not on Telenor's Smart Share page. Telenor lists only the Rs 20 to Rs 200 range for each share and the limit of 10 shares a day. The Rs 7 charge is the part most people miss.
How to share balance step by step
- Check your own balance. Dial *444#. Keep enough for the amount you want to send plus the Rs 7 charge. Telenor's page does not say in words whether the Rs 7 comes on top of the amount, so plan as if it does.
- Write the receiver's number in the right form. Drop the first 0 and put 92 in front. So 0345 1234567 becomes 923451234567.
- Type the full code. Put *1*1*, then the number, then *, then the amount, then #.
- Press call, then press 1 when the menu asks you to confirm.
- Wait for the SMS. Telenor says both the sender and the receiver get a confirmation once the balance moves.
Telenor gives this example on its page: to share Rs 100 with 03451234567, type *1*1*923451234567*100# and press 1.
How to confirm the transfer worked
Do not rely on the screen message alone. Ask the receiver to dial *444# and read out the new balance. Then dial *444# yourself. Each balance check costs Rs 0.24 including tax, as listed on Telenor's Balance Inquiry page.
If you need a record, keep the confirmation SMS. It is the easiest proof if you later have to complain.
When balance sharing fails
- The receiver is not on Telenor prepaid. Smart Share works only between Telenor prepaid numbers. A postpaid number, or a number on another network, cannot receive it.
- The amount is outside the range. Anything under Rs 20 or over Rs 200 in one go will not go through. Split larger amounts, up to 10 shares a day.
- You have used your 10 shares today. Try again the next day.
- The number is typed wrongly. The most common mistake is keeping the 0, or missing the 92. After 92 there should be ten digits.
- You are using Emergency Load. Telenor's Emergency Load gives Rs 30 of advance balance on *0# for a fee of Rs 11, but its page says this load cannot be used for balance transfer.
If the receiver has no balance and cannot wait, they can take Emergency Load themselves. Telenor says the Rs 11 fee is taken back at their next recharge.
A warning about balance share scams
Because a single code moves money, this is a common trick. A caller claims to be from Telenor, a prize scheme or a bank and asks you to "dial this code to verify". The code is Smart Share with their number in it. Once you press 1, the balance is gone.
- Never dial a code that someone else read out to you if it contains a phone number.
- A real network does not need you to send it balance to fix your SIM or give you a prize.
- Report the number.
Where to complain if balance went missing
Call Telenor's helpline on 345 from a Telenor number, or 042-111-345-100 from another phone. Telenor's contact page says a call connected to an agent costs Rs 2.69 including tax. You can also lodge a complaint in the My Telenor app, and Telenor's website links a WhatsApp chat at 051-111-345-100. Keep the complaint number. If the problem is not fixed, escalate to PTA.
