Jazz Call Rate per Minute: Every Prepaid Plan Compared (Budget, Easy, Lite, One)
Jazz call rate per minute on every prepaid plan: Rs 3.50 on Budget, Easy and One, Rs 1.80 per 30 seconds on Lite, SMS and internet rates, plus the *444# code.

Without a bundle, a Jazz prepaid call costs Rs 3.50 a minute to any network on Jazz Budget, Jazz Easy and Jazz One, while Jazz Lite charges Rs 1.80 for every 30 seconds to Jazz numbers, all including tax. SMS cost Rs 2.50, or Rs 2.15 on Lite, and internet without a bundle costs Rs 5 for every MB on all four plans.
These are the base rates you pay the moment a bundle runs out. Below are the rates for each Jazz prepaid price plan, worked examples for real calls, the code to see your own plan, and the cheapest way to avoid base rates. We read Jazz's plan pages and dial codes list on 31 October 2026.
Jazz has four prepaid price plans with almost the same rates
Jazz Budget, Jazz Easy and Jazz One all charge Rs 3.50 per 60 seconds for calls to Jazz and to other networks. Jazz Lite uses 30 second charging. All four charge Rs 5 per MB for internet. Jazz lists every rate as including tax.
| Plan | Jazz calls | Other network calls | SMS | Internet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jazz Budget | Rs 3.50 per 60 sec | Rs 3.50 per 60 sec | Rs 2.50 | Rs 5 per MB |
| Jazz Easy | Rs 3.50 per 60 sec | Rs 3.50 per 60 sec | Rs 2.50 | Rs 5 per MB |
| Jazz One | Rs 3.50 per 60 sec | Rs 3.50 per 60 sec | Rs 2.50 | Rs 5 per MB |
| Jazz Lite | Rs 1.80 per 30 sec | Rs 1.80 per 60 sec, as printed | Rs 2.15 | Rs 5 per MB |
Jazz Easy and Jazz One show "lifetime" validity, meaning the plan does not expire. The Jazz Lite page prints Rs 1.80 per 60 seconds for other networks, which is cheaper than its own Jazz to Jazz rate. That looks like a typing error on Jazz's page. Check the rate on your own bill before you rely on it.

A 30 second pulse saves money on short calls
The pulse is the block of time you pay for. With a 60 second pulse, a 61 second call is charged as two full minutes. With a 30 second pulse on Jazz Lite, it is charged as three blocks of 30 seconds. Short calls favour the shorter pulse.
| Call length (to a Jazz number) | Budget, Easy or One | Jazz Lite |
|---|---|---|
| 25 seconds | Rs 3.50 | Rs 1.80 |
| 40 seconds | Rs 3.50 | Rs 3.60 |
| 2 minutes 10 seconds | Rs 10.50 | Rs 9.00 |
| 5 minutes | Rs 17.50 | Rs 18.00 |
These are our sums from Jazz's printed rates. Lite wins for calls that end just after a 30 second mark, and loses slightly on calls of whole minutes. Over a month the difference is small. The real saving comes from a bundle, not the plan.

Internet without a bundle costs about Rs 5,120 a GB
At Rs 5 per MB, one GB of internet without a bundle costs about Rs 5,120, our arithmetic using 1,024 MB in a GB. That is why a phone that updates apps in the background can empty a Rs 100 load in minutes once a bundle ends.
Jazz's terms add a second trap. Its charging system reserves part of your bundle data each time an app opens. If many apps open at once, the reserve can use up the bundle and the phone starts paying the Rs 5 base rate even while some MBs seem left. Turn off mobile data when your bundle is nearly finished.
If money keeps disappearing, dial *7050# to see what you were charged for in the last three days, which Jazz lists on its dial codes page. The steps to check why Jazz balance was deducted explain the reply.
Dial *444# to see your plan and switch on a bundle
Jazz's self-service dial codes list gives *444# for viewing and activating packages and more. Use it to see which plan you are on and what bundles you can buy. The balance code is *111#, and paid extras are managed on *6611#.
- Dial *111# to check your balance.
- Dial *444# to open Jazz self-service and see your current plan and offers.
- Pick a call or all-in-one bundle that fits your use, so base rates stop applying.
- Dial *6611# to see value added services that cost money every day, and stop any you do not use.
- Dial *7050# a few days later to check that no base-rate charges remain.

For most people who call daily, a bundle beats any plan rate by a wide margin. The Jazz call packages list weekly and monthly minute bundles, and the Jazz make your own bundle on *303# lets you pick minutes, MBs and SMS yourself.
Taxes are already in the rates, but a recharge loses 15 per cent
Jazz's rates include tax. Separately, Jazz's terms list advance income tax at 15 per cent on each recharge, so a Rs 100 load gives less than Rs 100 of usable balance. Sales tax is 19.5 per cent in most of Pakistan and AJK, 16 per cent in Islamabad.
Jazz's terms also say Gilgit-Baltistan is exempt from these taxes. And they say the balance needed for a bundle may be rounded up to the nearest whole rupee, so keep a rupee or two more than the bundle price.
Block unwanted calls and messages with 3627 or 420
Jazz's plan pages carry PTA's two blocking routes. Text "ON" or "SUB" to 3627 to join the Do Not Call Register, which Jazz says is free. Dial 420 to block unsolicited calls and messages, which Jazz says has charges. Report a spam SMS by sending the number and message to 9000.
The full steps for 3627 are in stop spam SMS and calls with PTA 3627. Never share a code sent to your phone with a caller who says they are from Jazz.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 31 October 2026. We read the Jazz pages for Jazz Budget, Jazz Easy, Jazz Lite and Jazz One, and the prepaid tab of Jazz's self-service dial codes on jazz.com.pk on 31 October 2026. The worked call costs and the per GB figure are our arithmetic. We did not test calls on each plan, and we could not confirm whether the Jazz Lite other-network rate of Rs 1.80 per 60 seconds is correct or a typing error.
