A shopping bag and a small box wrapped in brown paper on a wooden table in a Karachi home, for a guide to JazzCash Yeylo instalments

Yeylo is JazzCash's buy now, pay later option. You pay for a purchase in 3 monthly instalments, at 0, 30 and 60 days, and JazzCash adds a 15% service charge on the total. Spending limits run from Rs 100 to Rs 50,000. Check yours in the JazzCash app under Yeylo.

A Rs 30,000 phone through Yeylo costs Rs 34,500 once the 15% charge is added. That is the number to keep in mind, because the checkout screen will mostly show you three small payments.

We read JazzCash's own Yeylo page on 9 October 2026. Here is how Yeylo works, what it really costs, how to check your limit, why it fails, and how to repay.

How JazzCash Yeylo works

Yeylo splits a purchase into 3 monthly instalments. The first is taken from your JazzCash wallet straight away, the second after 30 days and the third after 60 days. It works at partner stores, on partner brand websites and inside the JazzCash app.

Spending limitRs 100 to Rs 50,000, based on eligibility

Yeylo is credit, even if it does not feel like a loan. You get the item now and owe JazzCash the rest. Treat it the way you would treat any borrowing.

What a Yeylo purchase really costs

The 15% charge is on the whole purchase, so a Rs 30,000 item costs Rs 34,500 and a Rs 10,000 item costs Rs 11,500. You pay that extra to spread the price over about two months, which is expensive for such a short time.

What Yeylo purchases cost with the 15% charge: Rs 5,000 becomes Rs 5,750, Rs 30,000 becomes Rs 34,500, Rs 50,000 becomes Rs 57,500
Price15% chargeTotal you payEach of 3 instalments, if split equally
Rs 5,000Rs 750Rs 5,750About Rs 1,917
Rs 10,000Rs 1,500Rs 11,500About Rs 3,833
Rs 30,000Rs 4,500Rs 34,500Rs 11,500
Rs 50,000Rs 7,500Rs 57,500About Rs 19,167

These are our sums from JazzCash's 15% figure. JazzCash's page does not say whether the charge is split across the three instalments or taken with the first one, so your checkout screen may show a different pattern.

Think of it this way. On a Rs 30,000 phone, you pay the first third now. You pay Rs 4,500 so you can hold back the other Rs 20,000 for one or two months. If you could save up for two months instead, you keep that Rs 4,500. Some wallet credit costs even more per week, as the numbers in what buy now pay later really costs in Pakistan show.

Check your Yeylo eligibility and limit in the JazzCash app

Open the JazzCash app and go to Yeylo. JazzCash says it shows your eligibility and your spending limit there. The limit is between Rs 100 and Rs 50,000 and depends on your eligibility.

  1. Update the JazzCash app to the latest version.
  2. Open the app and find Yeylo.
  3. Check your eligibility and your spending limit.
  4. At a partner store or website, choose Yeylo at checkout.
  5. Keep enough balance for the first instalment, which is taken at once.
Steps to check and use JazzCash Yeylo: update the app, open Yeylo, check the limit, choose Yeylo at checkout, keep balance for the first instalment

Yeylo needs a working JazzCash wallet in your name. If your wallet is still on a basic level, the steps in raising your JazzCash transaction limits may matter too, because your instalments come out of the same wallet.

Why Yeylo is not showing or the payment fails

JazzCash says Yeylo may not show because the store is not a partner, your eligibility is low, or your app is out of date. A Yeylo payment can fail if you lack balance for the first instalment, have a low credit score, or have dues pending.

ProblemLikely reason, per JazzCashWhat to try
Yeylo not showingNot a partner store, or low eligibilityCheck the store is a Yeylo partner
Yeylo not showingOld app versionUpdate the JazzCash app
Payment failedNot enough balance for the first instalmentAdd money to your wallet, then retry
Payment failedLow credit score or pending duesClear any unpaid instalments first

If none of that explains it, call JazzCash. Its website lists 051-111-124-444, open 24 hours, and 4444 for Jazz customers.

Repay Yeylo on time through the app or *786#

Repay your Yeylo instalments in the JazzCash app or by dialling *786# and following the steps. JazzCash's page does not list a late fee, so ask the helpline before you buy, and keep the balance ready before each due date.

Missing an instalment has a known cost even without a stated fee. JazzCash names pending dues and a low credit score as reasons a Yeylo payment fails, so a late payment can lock you out of Yeylo for the next purchase.

There is also the question of your wider credit record. JazzCash's page does not say whether Yeylo is reported to the State Bank's credit bureau, so we cannot tell you. Pay on time and the question does not arise.

A word on scams. Yeylo lives inside the official JazzCash app. If a website or a caller offers you "JazzCash instalments" through a link, a separate app or a form asking for your MPIN, walk away. Lending apps outside the official ones can be checked with the method in checking whether a lending app is SECP licensed.

What JazzCash's Yeylo page does not tell you

JazzCash's page leaves out the late fee, how the 15% is split across instalments, the full list of partner stores, and whether Yeylo is reported to a credit bureau. Ask the helpline about each before you buy something expensive.

We also did not use Yeylo ourselves for this page, so we cannot describe the checkout screens. The figures above are JazzCash's, and the totals are our arithmetic.
