Many AC berths were sold out three days ahead
When we checked on 2 November for 5 November, the booking system showed no AC Standard berths left on Rehman Baba, Tezgam or Khyber Mail. AC Sleeper was full on both trains that carry it. AC Business had one seat left on Green Line, Rehman Baba and Khyber Mail, and none on Awam.
Economy still had room on every train, from 10 seats on Awam to 56 on Rehman Baba. Pakistan Railways lets you book up to 90 days ahead, according to its official FAQ. For an AC berth on this route, a week ahead is not early enough.
