KP Police SOS Call Service Registration: Forms for Schools, Banks, Jewellers and Hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Register a KP school, bank, jeweller, money changer or hospital for the KP Police SOS Call Service. Both forms, the 5 steps and the 3 to 5 day verification.

KP Police's SOS Call Service lets a registered school, college, university, bank, jewellery shop, money changer, NADRA office or hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa send an instant alert to the police from a registered phone. Download the right form from kppolice.gov.pk, submit it at your district police office, and verification takes 3 to 5 days.
The service is for one kind of emergency only. The forms say it should be used "ONLY" in the event of terrorism or firing on the institution. It is not a general complaint line, and it does not replace 15. We read both registration forms and the KP Police page on the service on 31 October 2026. Below is who can register, what the form asks, and the steps from download to installation.
Two forms: one for education, one for businesses
KP Police publish two SOS Call Service registration forms. One is for educational institutions, from junior schools to universities. The other is for organisations: banks, jewellery shops, money changers, NADRA offices and hospitals. Both ask for the same kind of security details.
| Form | Who it covers | Signed and attested by |
|---|---|---|
| Educational Institutions | Army, government, semi-government and private schools, colleges and universities; primary, middle, high and higher secondary levels | Principal, attested by the DEO or BISE Chairman |
| Organizations (commercial) | Banks, jewellery shops, money changers, NADRA offices, hospitals | Owner or bank manager |
DEO means the District Education Officer, and BISE is the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. A school form without the DEO's or Chairman's attestation is likely to be returned, so get that signature before you submit.

Register for the KP Police SOS Call Service in 5 steps
The form's instructions set the route. You download or collect the form, submit it to the district police office, wait 3 to 5 days for verification, then take your Android phones to the police office named in the SMS or call for SIM registration and software installation.
- Download the form from the Downloads section of kppolice.gov.pk, or collect it from the DPO, SSP Operations or DEO office of your district.
- Fill it in completely, with the principal's or owner's details and an authorised officer's details.
- Submit it to the District Police Officer (DPO) or SSP Operations office for verification.
- Wait 3 to 5 days. KP Police say verification is completed in that time and you will be told by SMS or phone.
- Visit the office you are told to visit with the Android phones to be registered. The police register the SIMs and install the alert software, and the team trains you to use it.

One detail differs between KP Police's own documents. The form says to visit the RPO or CCPO office, meaning the Regional Police Officer or the Capital City Police Officer in Peshawar. The website page says to visit the DPO office. Go where the SMS or call tells you to go.
The website page adds that the Special Branch or District Security Branch verifies the details before installation. Expect a call or a visit.
What the registration form asks for
Both forms ask for the institution's full address, phone, police station, tehsil and district; the CNIC, name, mobile and email of the head and of one authorised officer; staff numbers; security staff details; and two nearby contact persons or offices.
- Type and name of the institution or business, and for a bank, the branch name and code.
- Complete address, landline, police station, tehsil and district.
- Principal's or owner's CNIC, name, mobile and email.
- An authorised officer's or employee's CNIC, name, mobile and email.
- Number of male and female students and staff, or employees.
- Total security staff, and the security in-charge's name and mobile.
- Two nearby contacts: a neighbouring person, business or office, with address and phone.
Pick the two nearby contacts with care. The form does not say how the police use them, but a neighbour who can be reached during your working hours is the sensible choice. Tell both of them you have listed their names.
Alerts work only from registered SIMs, and only for attacks
The forms say the service "will generate alerts from the registered mobile SIMs only". So the phone must stay with someone who is on site, it must be charged, and the SIM should stay in it. Ask the police office before you change the phone or the SIM.
Misuse matters. The forms limit the service to terrorism and firing on the school, college, university, bank, jewellery shop or money changer. For a theft, a fight or a threat by phone, call 15 or go to the police station. Complaints about police response go through the KP police complaint system, set out in complaining against KP police.

Other KP Police services and numbers
The KP Police website lists 15 for police emergencies, 1122 for rescue and 16 for the fire brigade. The Counter Terrorism Department is listed on 111-283-283 and 091-111-283-283. The central office in Peshawar is on 091-9210457.
The same website offers other services that institutions and their staff need. Staff and guards often need a character certificate, covered in getting a police character certificate in KP. Property owners must register tenants, as set out in tenant registration with KP police.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 31 October 2026. We read the KP Police SOS Alert Service page, the KP Police downloads page, and both SOS Call Service registration forms linked there. The forms and the web page give different offices for the installation visit, the RPO or CCPO office and the DPO office respectively. Neither says whether the service is free, how many phones one institution may register, or which districts it covers.
