Modern Warfare 4 PC Preload Starts 9 pm PKT on 15 October, Campaign Early Access on 16 October
Modern Warfare 4 PC preload begins 15 October at 9 am Pacific, 9 pm in Pakistan. Campaign Early Access starts 16 October and the game releases 23 October.

Short answer: PC preloading for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 begins on 15 October at 9 am Pacific time, which is 9 pm in Pakistan. Campaign Early Access starts on Friday 16 October for digital pre-orders. The full game releases on 23 October at midnight local time.
Players in Pakistan sit at the far end of the clock for most US game launches. A 9 am start in California is a late evening start in Lahore, and "midnight local time" lands in the small hours. The dates are close now, so the times matter.
We read the official Call of Duty blog on 12 October 2026: the post on PC specs and preloading dated 29 September, and the post confirming Campaign Early Access dated 12 June. Dates below come from those posts and are subject to change.
Preloading on PC starts at 9 pm Pakistan time on 15 October
Preloading lets you download the game before it goes live, so you can play on release day without waiting. The blog says PC preloading begins on 15 October at 9 am Pacific time, and only for players who pre-purchased the game digitally.
In October, Pacific time is seven hours behind UTC, and Pakistan is five hours ahead of UTC. That puts the preload at 9 pm in Pakistan on Thursday 15 October. The conversion is ours, so check it against your own clock when the date arrives.
The game needs 115 GB of space on an SSD, a size listed in the official specifications. The PC requirements for Modern Warfare 4 are listed in full, including the security rule.
Campaign Early Access starts on 16 October for pre-orders
Anyone who digitally pre-orders or pre-purchases the Standard Digital Edition or the Vault Edition gets Campaign Early Access from Friday 16 October. The offer covers Xbox Series X and S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, Battle.net, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2.
The campaign puts you in the role of Private Park, a young South Korean soldier, alongside Captain Price. The blog says the exact start hour and platform availability are subject to change and to time zone differences. It does not give an hour, so we cannot tell you when on 16 October it opens in Pakistan.
| Event | Date and time given | Pakistan time |
|---|---|---|
| PC preload begins | 15 October, 9 am Pacific | 15 October, 9 pm |
| Campaign Early Access | Friday 16 October, hour not given | Hour not published |
| DMZ Early Access | 20 October, per the blog home page | Hour not published |
| Full release | 23 October, midnight local time | Midnight, night of 22 to 23 October |

The full game releases on 23 October at midnight local time
The blog says the full game releases on 23 October at midnight local time. On PC that means Xbox on PC, Battle.net and Steam, and the game is also coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and S and Nintendo Switch 2. Last generation consoles are not supported.
"Midnight local time" suggests the unlock follows your own clock, so in Pakistan it would be the start of Friday 23 October. The blog gives no separate Pakistan time, and Activision's own footnote says actual start dates are subject to change, so treat that as the expected time and not a promise.
Prices in Pakistani rupees are a different matter. We did not read a local price on the official page, so we do not give one here. A game bought on Steam is priced in dollars, and paying for Steam games from Pakistan covers cards and the tax question.
Three things to do before the preload opens
Do the boring setup now. It saves a failed preload at 9 pm.
- Pre-purchase the game digitally on your platform, since preloading is only for pre-purchases.
- Free 115 GB on an SSD and install the Xbox PC app and the newest graphics drivers.
- Check TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, which the game requires for any online mode.

The security rule is the one people miss, and the instructions for enabling TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot show the BIOS steps. Players who were waiting on the PlayStation side should note that PlayStation Network has its own account rules, covered under PlayStation Network in Pakistan.
What we could not confirm
The official posts do not give a price in rupees, an exact hour for Campaign Early Access, or a download size for consoles. They also say PC specifications are valid for launch and may be updated. DMZ Early Access on 20 October appears on the blog home page, but we did not find a full post for it.
If any of these change, the Call of Duty blog is where the correction will appear first.
