Allied Bank WhatsApp Banking 0300-1225225: Rs 25 Fee, What Still Works, How to Stop It
Allied Bank WhatsApp banking on 0300 1225225 now costs Rs 25 a month plus tax, with no transfers or bills. See the new limits and how to unsubscribe free.

Allied Bank's WhatsApp banking number is 0300 1225225. Since 20 October 2026 the service costs Rs 25 a month plus tax, transfers and bill payments have been removed, and balance checks are capped at one a day. You have 15 days from your consent to unsubscribe free.
For years myABL WhatsApp Banking was a free way to check a balance or send money by chat. That changed this week. We read Allied Bank's myABL WhatsApp Banking page and the October addendum to its schedule of charges on 24 October 2026. Here is what the fee is, what still works, the new limits, and how to stop the charge if you do not want it.
myABL WhatsApp Banking now costs Rs 25 a month plus tax
Allied Bank's addendum to its July to December 2026 schedule of charges sets the WhatsApp Banking subscription at Rs 25 a month plus tax. The bank says it is passing on a price change by Meta, the company that owns WhatsApp.

Rs 25 a month is Rs 300 a year before tax. That is small, but it is a new charge on something that used to be free, and it now buys far less than before.
The two Allied Bank documents give different start dates. The WhatsApp Banking page says the fee applies from 19 October 2026. The schedule of charges addendum says the revised charge is implemented from 20 October 2026. The fee is the same either way, and it starts only after you give fresh consent in the chat.
Transfers, bills and top-ups no longer work on WhatsApp
Allied Bank says funds transfers, including FT, IBFT and Raast, bill payments and mobile top-ups are no longer available through WhatsApp Banking. The chat now handles account inquiries and services. For payments, the bank points customers to the myABL app, which stays free.
| Service | On WhatsApp now | Limit or note |
|---|---|---|
| Balance inquiry | Yes | 1 a day, 10 a month |
| Mini statement | Yes | 1 a day, 10 a month |
| Account statement | Yes | Last 1 or 6 months |
| WHT certificate | Yes | Last 2 years |
| Account maintenance certificate | Yes | Password-protected PDF |
| Cheque status | Yes | Last 8 digits of the cheque |
| IBAN generator, dormant account activation | Yes | Under Account Services |
| Funds transfer, IBFT, Raast | No | Use the myABL app |
| Bill payment, mobile top-up | No | Use the myABL app |
The IBAN generator in the chat saves a trip, since your IBAN is otherwise printed on your bank statement or found in the app. The Other Services menu also offers the ATM and branch locator, opening a digital account, pay order and bank guarantee verification, offers, the schedule of charges, a credit card application and a 24/7 chat with an Allied Bank agent.
Balance and mini statement are capped at one a day, ten a month
Allied Bank's fair usage policy allows one balance inquiry and one mini statement a day, with a maximum of 10 each a month. The limits are counted per customer across all linked accounts, and unused checks do not carry over.

A request beyond the limit is declined, and the service comes back when the allowance resets. Monthly allowances reset at midnight on the first of each month. For the daily reset, the bank's FAQ says 12:00 a.m. Pakistan time, while its terms say 24 hours after you start using the service. If a second balance check fails, wait for both to pass.
Someone who checks a balance more than once a day will find WhatsApp poor value now. Allied Bank itself says frequent, free inquiries are available in myABL Digital Banking, which has no fair usage limits. myABL registration takes a CNIC, your registered number and a fingerprint check in the app.
You can unsubscribe free within 15 days of giving consent
Allied Bank gives a 15-day free-look period starting from the date you give fresh consent to the paid service. Unsubscribe inside those 15 days and there is no charge. Any fee already taken in that window is reversed within the regulatory timeframe, the bank says.
- Open the chat with 0300 1225225 and send "Menu".
- Tap Account Services.
- Choose Unsubscribe myABL WhatsApp Banking.
- Keep the confirmation message in the chat.
After the 15 days, the monthly fee plus tax is taken from an eligible Allied account. You can still unsubscribe at any time, which stops future fees. If the fee cannot be recovered when due, the bank says you will be unsubscribed at once.
This follows a wider State Bank rule. Any subscription a bank sells must come with a free-look period of at least 15 days, and a fee charged inside it must be refunded.

Registration asks only for the last 4 digits of your CNIC
To start, save 0300 1225225, send "Hi" or "Menu", and register. Allied Bank asks only for the last 4 digits of your CNIC, its verification steps and your consent to the fee. It never asks for card numbers, passwords or PINs.
Allied Bank says this is the only official WhatsApp number for the service. Check the verified business name before you share anything. A chat from any other number asking for an OTP or a PIN is a scam, and so is a voice call asking you to "confirm" your WhatsApp banking.
Individual accounts and joint accounts with "either or survivor" instructions can register. If you change the mobile number on your Allied account, you must register on WhatsApp again.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read Allied Bank's myABL WhatsApp Banking page, including its FAQs and terms, and the addendum to the schedule of bank charges on 24 October 2026. The Rs 25 fee, services, limits and free-look terms come from those two documents. The start date differs between them, 19 October on the page and 20 October in the addendum, and the daily reset time differs between the FAQ and the terms. The yearly figure is our arithmetic. We did not register on the chat ourselves.
