NayaPay Limits and Charges in Pakistan 2026: Rs 400,000 a Month After Biometrics
NayaPay limits and charges for 2026: Rs 400,000 a month after biometrics, free Raast transfers, Rs 35 ATM, USD 0.25 per foreign card payment. Raise your limit.

NayaPay lets you receive Rs 50,000 a month on a new account and Rs 400,000 a month once you verify your fingerprints in the app or at a Meezan Bank ATM. Transfers to other NayaPay users and to banks through Raast are free. A local ATM withdrawal costs Rs 35, and every international card payment carries a USD 0.25 fee, under NayaPay's schedule of charges for July to December 2026.
NayaPay is a wallet app licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan as an Electronic Money Institution, or EMI. That means it can hold your money and issue cards, but it is not a bank. Its fees sit on one image-only schedule and its limits sit in a help article, so most people never see both at once.
We read both on 9 October 2026, along with NayaPay's help articles on upgrades, ATMs, failed payments and the USD 30,000 card rule. Here is everything in one place.
NayaPay charges for July to December 2026
NayaPay charges nothing to sign up, nothing a year, and nothing for transfers to NayaPay users or through Raast. You pay Rs 600 for a Visa virtual card, Rs 1,000 for a Visa physical card, Rs 1,808 for a PayPak card, Rs 35 at a local ATM and USD 0.25 on each international card payment.

| Service | NayaPay charge |
|---|---|
| Sign-up and annual fee | Free |
| Visa virtual card | Rs 600 |
| Visa physical card, with delivery | Rs 1,000 |
| PayPak card, with delivery | Rs 1,808 |
| Transfer to a NayaPay account | Free |
| Transfer to a bank through Raast | Free |
| Transfer to a bank through 1LINK | Free up to Rs 25,000 a month, then 0.1% (max Rs 200) |
| International card payment | USD 0.25 each, on successful and failed payments |
| Alipay+ payment abroad | 2.85% |
| Local ATM withdrawal by card | Rs 35 |
| Meezan ATM withdrawal by fingerprint | Rs 50 |
| ATM withdrawal abroad | Rs 200 |
| Account reinstatement | Rs 1,100 |
The schedule says all rates exclude tax, except items marked with an asterisk, which include it. The card fees, the local ATM fee and the in-app fingerprint fees carry that asterisk.
The cheapest way to move money out is Raast. It is free at any amount, so there is little reason to use the 1LINK route once you pass Rs 25,000 in a month. If you have not used it before, setting up a Raast ID and paying with it takes a few minutes in most bank apps.
Loading money into NayaPay
Loading from a linked bank account or through Raast is free. A cash deposit at a participating bank branch costs up to Rs 23. At a NADRA e-Sahulat shop, the fee follows the 1LINK scale: Rs 1.8 for up to Rs 2,500, rising to Rs 16.8 for Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000.
NayaPay limits before and after biometric verification
A new NayaPay account can receive Rs 50,000 a month and spend or send Rs 50,000 a day. After fingerprint verification against NADRA records, incoming money rises to Rs 400,000 a month, bank and NayaPay transfers to Rs 200,000 a day, and ATM cash to up to Rs 50,000 a day.

| Limit | New account | After biometrics |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly incoming | Rs 50,000 | Rs 400,000 |
| Daily ATM cash | Rs 10,000 | Up to Rs 50,000 |
| Daily in-store payments | Rs 50,000 | Rs 400,000 |
| Daily NayaPay transfers | Rs 50,000 | Rs 200,000 |
| Daily transfers to banks | Rs 50,000 | Rs 200,000 |
| Daily merchant payments | Rs 50,000 | Rs 400,000 |
| Monthly foreign remittance | Rs 50,000 | Up to Rs 1,500,000 |
The monthly incoming cap is the one people hit first. One freelance payment can pass Rs 50,000, so verify before the money is due.
NayaPay Business accounts are different. They start at Rs 2,000,000 a month in and Rs 2,000,000 out, and you ask the Business team for more.
Raise your NayaPay limit in the app or at a Meezan ATM
Tap your profile icon, tap the Upgrade banner, choose Upgrade through app and scan your fingers with the back camera. The in-app scan costs Rs 60. You can also do it at any Meezan Bank ATM, without a card, under Biometric Services, and the schedule lists no fee for that route.

- Open NayaPay and tap your profile icon at the top left of the Home screen.
- Tap the Upgrade banner, then Upgrade through app.
- Allow location access. NADRA requires it for the scan.
- Place your fingers close together inside the frame. The phone needs a back camera of at least 5 MP and a flashlight.
- Tap Next so NADRA can match your fingerprints, then tap Check upgraded limits.
At a Meezan Bank ATM, choose Biometric Services, then NayaPay, then Biometric Verification. Enter your CNIC number and the mobile number registered with NayaPay, and place the finger the screen asks for. A notification in the app confirms the upgrade.
International payments and the USD 30,000 card limit
Each international payment on a NayaPay card costs USD 0.25, plus FX settlement costs, which NayaPay says cover buying dollars from authorised dealers. Every person in Pakistan also has a yearly limit of USD 30,000 on card payments abroad, across all banks and wallets, which resets on 1 November.
NayaPay says the USD 30,000 limit applies to you, not to one card. If you have three debit cards, one virtual card and one credit card, all five share the same USD 30,000. Go over it and international payments stop on your cards until 1 November, while local use carries on. The rule comes from the State Bank's FE Circular No. 07 of 2022.
Failed foreign payments cost money too. NayaPay allows 5 failed international transactions, for example from low balance or a frozen card. After that you pay a fee to restore card use, and more failures can get the card blocked, which means paying for a new one.
The USD 0.25 fee is low next to a percentage fee. SadaPay, for comparison, lists 6% on international card spending, as set out in SadaPay's limits and charges for 2026. On a USD 20 subscription, that is about USD 1.20 against USD 0.25, before exchange costs on either side.
Where NayaPay's own pages disagree
NayaPay's help articles on ATM cash, last updated in December 2024, say you get 5 free withdrawals a month at UBL ATMs and 5 at Bank Alfalah ATMs. The current schedule of charges lists Rs 35 at all banks' ATMs, with no free withdrawals mentioned.
We cannot tell from the public pages whether the free UBL and Alfalah offer still runs. Check the fee shown in the app before you withdraw, or ask in the in-app chat. If both are shown, the newer schedule is the one NayaPay says it may charge up to.
Its old fee article also calls the Visa debit card free. The current schedule charges Rs 600 for a virtual card and Rs 1,000 for a physical one.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 9 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read NayaPay's schedule of charges for July to December 2026 and its help articles on account limits, upgrades in the app and at Meezan ATMs, failed transaction charges, FX settlement costs, the USD 30,000 card limit and closing an account. We checked the State Bank's list of licensed EMIs, updated 2 September 2026. We did not open a NayaPay account or test any fee for this page.
If you are new to the app, the steps to create a NayaPay account come before any of this.
