SadaPay Limits and Charges in Pakistan 2026: Rs 400,000 a Month After Biometrics
SadaPay limits and charges for 2026: Rs 400,000 a month after biometrics, free bank transfers, Rs 35 ATM, Rs 1,724 card, 6% abroad. How to raise your limit.

SadaPay's incoming limit rises to Rs 400,000 a month once you complete biometric verification (BVS) in the app: More, then Increase my limit. Local bank transfers in and out are free. A local ATM withdrawal costs Rs 35, and a physical card costs Rs 1,724, under SadaPay's schedule of charges for July to December 2026.
SadaPay is an app-only wallet that many freelancers and students in Pakistan use for online payments and local transfers. Its pricing is simple on paper, but the numbers sit across a fee page and a dozen help articles, some of them years old.
We read all of them on 9 October 2026. Here are the limits, the fees, how to raise your limit, and where SadaPay's own pages disagree.
SadaPay charges for July to December 2026
SadaPay's schedule of charges for July to December 2026 lists free account opening, free local bank transfers and free incoming remittances. You pay Rs 35 per local ATM withdrawal, Rs 1,724 for a physical card, and 6% on international card spending.

| Service | SadaPay charge |
|---|---|
| Account opening, annual fee, SMS | Free, no minimum balance |
| Local bank transfers, in and out | Free |
| Incoming remittances | Free |
| Local ATM withdrawal | Rs 35 (tax included) |
| Mastercard or PayPak physical card | Rs 1,724 to issue, Rs 1,724 to replace |
| Virtual Mastercard | Free to issue |
| International card spending up to Rs 800 | Rs 55 plus 6% (tax included) |
| International card spending above Rs 800 | 6% (tax included) |
| International ATM withdrawal | Rs 250 (tax included) |
| Card dispute through Mastercard | US$2 |
| Proceeds realisation certificate (older than a year) | Rs 400 |
The schedule says charges do not include Federal Excise Duty (FED) unless marked, and the ATM and international fees are marked as including it. One help article on card fees says the PayPak card fee is charged every year, while the Mastercard fee is a one-time charge. Keep that in mind if you are choosing between the two.
SadaPay limits on balance, transfers and ATM
SadaPay's limits page lists a maximum balance of Rs 2,500,000, incoming transfers of Rs 400,000 a month, and outgoing transfers of Rs 400,000 a day and Rs 500,000 a month. ATM cash is Rs 10,000 a day, or Rs 50,000 a day after biometric verification.

| Limit | Per transaction | Daily | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maximum balance | Rs 2,500,000 at any time | ||
| Money coming in (all sources) | Rs 400,000 | Rs 400,000 | Rs 400,000 |
| Money going out (bank, bills, SadaPay) | Rs 400,000 | Rs 400,000 | Rs 500,000 |
| ATM, before biometrics | Rs 10,000 | Rs 10,000 | Not stated |
| ATM, after biometrics | Rs 50,000 | Rs 50,000 | Rs 1,500,000 |
| Card spending | Rs 500,000 domestic and Rs 500,000 international; international capped at Rs 2,247,100 a year | ||
One caution. That limits page was last updated in October 2023, according to SadaPay's help centre. Its biometric pages, updated in 2026, still give the same Rs 400,000 monthly incoming figure, so the core number holds. For the exact limits on your own account, open the More screen in the app, which SadaPay says shows your incoming limit.
The outgoing monthly limit runs on a 30 day cycle that starts with your first transaction after the last period ended. It does not reset on the 1st of the month. The incoming limit does reset on the 1st.
Raise your SadaPay limit with in-app biometric verification
Open the SadaPay app, go to More, tap Increase my limit, then Get started, and scan your fingerprints with the phone camera. SadaPay sends them to NADRA. If they match, your incoming limit rises to Rs 400,000 a month, usually within seconds.
- Update the SadaPay app to the latest version.
- Open the app and go to the More screen.
- Tap Increase my limit, then Get started.
- Scan your fingerprints with the camera, holding your fingers close together against a plain background.
- Wait for the in-app notice that your limit has increased.

SadaPay says the in-app check is free. It now calls biometric verification mandatory under regulatory rules, so an account without it will keep getting asked. If your incoming limit already shows Rs 400,000, the check is done and you can ignore the prompt.
Clean fingers and a steady internet connection help. You also need to be in Pakistan when you scan.
When the fingerprint scan fails, use a NADRA e-Sahulat agent
Visit a NADRA e-Sahulat agent with your original CNIC and ask for the fingerprint biometric verification that prints a barcode receipt. It costs Rs 120, which SadaPay says it refunds. Send the 19 digit receipt number in the in-app chat.
SadaPay lists the usual reasons the in-app scan fails: you are outside Pakistan, your fingerprints do not match your CNIC record, the app cannot read your location, or your fingerprints are not registered with NADRA. If the More screen does not show the option at all, update the app or clear its cache.
At the agent, be specific. SadaPay warns that agents sometimes run a plain CNIC check instead of the fingerprint one, and that receipt will not work. Once you send the receipt number, SadaPay says it updates your limit within 1 working day.
Users outside Pakistan, or those who signed up with a foreign number, cannot complete biometrics yet. SadaPay says it is working on a route for them.
Tax certificate, statements and complaints on SadaPay
SadaPay sends a tax certificate through in-app chat within 5 working days of a request. Statements, account certificates and disputes also run through the app. There is no branch to visit, so the in-app chat is the main support channel.
If you pay for subscriptions or software abroad, the 6% fee plus tax adds up. On a US$20 monthly tool, that is more than one dollar a month in fees alone, before the exchange rate. Compare that with other options in virtual dollar cards from Pakistan before you settle on one.
For local transfers, SadaPay's free bank transfers compare well with banks that charge after a free monthly amount, as set out in IBFT charges at Pakistani banks. Whether the wallet itself is safe to keep money in is a separate question, weighed in whether SadaPay can be trusted.
Where SadaPay's own pages disagree
SadaPay's fee page carries two tables. The one headed July to December 2026 is the current one. A second, older table further down lists lower card fees and some free ATM withdrawals. Some help articles also use older figures.
- The older table lists a Mastercard at Rs 895 and PayPak at Rs 1,200 a year. The current table says Rs 1,724 for both.
- A help article from 2025 works an international ATM example with a Rs 290 fee. The current schedule says Rs 250.
- Help articles show the international fee as 6.96%. That is the 6% fee plus Federal Excise Duty on it, which matches the current schedule's "tax included" mark.
The same fee page also says withholding tax is charged on international transactions, at 5% for filers and 10% for non-filers. If you pay abroad often, being on the active taxpayer list makes a real difference.
