OEC Bahrain Jobs 2026: Advertisement 212 for a Diagnostic Technician, Free Visa and Housing, Apply by 6 November
OEC Advertisement 212 has one Diagnostic Technician job in Bahrain, age 35 to 40, with free visa, ticket and housing. Apply on oec.gov.pk by 6 November 2026.

OEC Advertisement No. 212 offers one Diagnostic Technician job in Bahrain, and you can apply online through oec.gov.pk until 1:00 pm on 6 November 2026. The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), the government's own recruitment agency, posted it on 21 October 2026. The employer gives free accommodation, visa, air ticket and medical insurance. The salary will be set at the interview.
This is a single seat, for an experienced electrical or electromechanical technician aged 35 to 40. We read the advert and OEC's announcements list on 27 October 2026. Below is every term in the advert, who should apply, how to pay the fee, and the Bahrain rules worth knowing before you sign.
OEC wants one Diagnostic Technician for a Bahrain company
OEC Advertisement No. 212, dated 21 October 2026, asks for one Diagnostic Technician for "our esteemed client in Bahrain". You need a qualification in the electrical or electromechanical field and an age of 35 to 40. The contract is for two years and can be renewed. OEC does not name the employer.
The age band is narrow. It sets a floor of 35 as well as a ceiling of 40, so a younger technician cannot apply however skilled. That points to an employer who wants a senior technician who can find faults in electrical systems without supervision, which is what a diagnostic technician does.
| Term | What OEC Advertisement No. 212 says |
|---|---|
| Post | Diagnostic Technician, 1 position |
| Education | Qualified in the electrical or electromechanical field |
| Age | 35 to 40 years |
| Contract | 2 years, renewable |
| Probation | 3 months, under Bahrain labour law |
| Salary | Fixed at the interview, paid through Bahrain's Wages Protection System |
| Hours | 8 hours a day, 26 days a month; overtime under Bahrain law |
| Leave | 60 days and 2 months' leave salary after 2 years |
| Free from employer | Accommodation, visa and visa fee, air ticket, medical insurance |
| Food | Not provided |
| Closing date | 6 November 2026 |

The salary is not fixed, so ask the right questions at interview
The advert says only that the salary "will be finalized at the time of the interview". It will be paid through Bahrain's Wages Protection System (WPS), which sends wages straight to a bank account so that they can be traced. Food is not included, so the salary has to cover meals as well.
At the interview, ask for the basic salary and any allowances in Bahraini dinars, and ask whether overtime is paid on top. Get the figure in writing in the contract before you pay for a medical or a protector stamp. A job with free housing but no food allowance can still leave you with little to send home if the basic is low.
For a sense of what a dinar is worth, the Bahraini dinar rate in Pakistan is listed with the other Gulf currencies for October 2026.
Apply on OEC's portal and pay against a PSID first
OEC says you apply through its website, oec.gov.pk, and that you must generate a PSID (Payment Slip ID) on the OEC portal and pay the fee before you submit. The advert does not print the fee amount, so read it on the PSID before paying. OEC's helpdesk is on 0311-0011-632.
- Open oec.gov.pk and go to the OEC jobs portal.
- Register or sign in with your CNIC, and complete your profile with your electrical or electromechanical qualification and experience.
- Find the Bahrain Diagnostic Technician job from Advertisement No. 212.
- Generate the PSID and pay it through your bank app, ATM or a mobile wallet.
- Submit the application before 1:00 pm on 6 November 2026 and keep the confirmation.
OEC's announcement lists the deadline as 6 November at 1:00 pm, while the advert says only 6 November. Use the earlier time to be safe. The OEC overseas job application steps show the portal and profile in more detail.

OEC also has a Tajikistan advert open until 5 November
OEC's announcements list on 27 October showed two open job adverts: this Bahrain one, closing 6 November, and a Tajikistan one, closing 5 November 2026. The Tajikistan advert covers other trades, so check it if you are not an electrical technician or not between 35 and 40.
The details are in our report on OEC Tajikistan jobs under advertisement 221. OEC also lists Korean language classes and the first round EPS-TOPIK results, but those are not job adverts.
Know Bahrain's worker rules before you travel
The contract runs under Bahrain's labour law, which sets the three month probation, overtime and end of service pay (called indemnity in the advert). Once in Bahrain, a worker can change employer under the LMRA rules and can complain to the Expat Protection Centre if wages stop.
Read how to change employer in Bahrain through the LMRA and the Expat Protection Centre helpline 995 before you fly. Going through OEC means you deal with a government agency. Never pay a private agent who says he can get you this OEC job faster.
