On Friday 23 October 2026 the State Bank of Pakistan's revaluation rates were Rs 898.7781 for one Kuwaiti dinar, Rs 718.9944 for one Omani riyal, Rs 733.8910 for one Bahraini dinar and Rs 75.9795 for one Qatari riyal. All four ended October a little lower than on 30 September, in line with the dollar. The tables below give the Friday rates through October, rupee values for common salary amounts, and a way to check the rate an exchange house offers you.

No State Bank rate is issued at weekends, so the Friday rates stand on 24 and 25 October. We read every daily sheet ourselves on 25 October 2026. The Saudi riyal and UAE dirham have their own lists, linked further down.

Friday rates through October 2026

By 23 October all four rates were a little lower than at the end of September, although the Qatari riyal briefly rose on 9 October. The moves are small: the dinar and the Omani riyal shifted by about one rupee or less across the month, and the Qatari riyal by a few paisa.

What common salary amounts are worth in rupees

At the 23 October rates, 200 Kuwaiti dinars are Rs 179,755.62, 200 Omani riyals are Rs 143,798.88, 200 Bahraini dinars are Rs 146,778.20 and 2,000 Qatari riyals are Rs 151,959. These are reference values, before the margin and fee an exchange house charges.

AmountRupees at the 23 October SBP rate
KWD 100Rs 89,877.81
KWD 200Rs 179,755.62
OMR 100Rs 71,899.44
OMR 200Rs 143,798.88
BHD 100Rs 73,389.10
BHD 200Rs 146,778.20
QAR 1,000Rs 75,979.50
QAR 2,000Rs 151,959.00

For a worker in Qatar on the minimum wage of QAR 1,000, set out in Qatar's minimum wage for Pakistani workers, that is about Rs 75,980 a month at the State Bank's rate. Food and housing allowances, where paid, come on top.

All four currencies follow the dollar rate

The State Bank's sheet says it works out every non-dollar rate from the rupee's dollar rate and that currency's world rate against the dollar. On 23 October its figures imply about 0.308 Kuwaiti dinars, 0.385 Omani riyals, 0.377 Bahraini dinars and 3.643 Qatari riyals to the dollar.

Because those ratios hardly change, the four rates rise and fall with the dollar. The dollar was lower on every working day of October, which is why all four ended the month lower. The full dollar list is in the October 2026 dollar rate history. The two largest Gulf currencies for Pakistani families have their own daily lists: the Saudi riyal and the UAE dirham.

Check the exchange house rate before you send

For high-value currencies like the dinar, a small margin costs a lot. A gap of Rs 5 a dinar on 200 dinars is Rs 1,000 lost. So compare the rupees received after fees, not just the advertised rate, and use the State Bank's figure as your yardstick.

  1. Open the State Bank's daily revaluation sheet and find KWD, OMR, BHD or QAR.
  2. Ask the exchange house or app for its rate and fee for your amount.
  3. Multiply your amount by its rate, then subtract the fee.
  4. Compare with the State Bank figure and with one more provider.
  5. Send through a bank or licensed exchange company and keep the receipt.

The method for judging any Gulf quote against the State Bank's customer rates is in checking whether your riyal or dirham rate is fair. Your family can receive the money in a bank account or wallet through the routes in receiving a home remittance through Raast. Never use hundi or hawala. They are illegal and a lost transfer cannot be recovered.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 25 October 2026. We read the State Bank of Pakistan's mark to market revaluation sheets for 30 September and every working day from 1 to 23 October 2026 except 21 October, which was not available at the usual address, on 25 October 2026, including the sheet's note on how non-dollar rates are compiled. The rupee values, changes and implied rates per dollar are our own arithmetic. We did not read exchange house quotes in Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain or Qatar.
