Oman Visa Check Online for Pakistanis: Track Your ROP eVisa, Tourist or Sponsor Login
Check an Oman visa on the ROP eVisa portal with the application number, passport number and nationality. Fixes for a blank result and the call centre numbers.

To check an Oman visa online, open the Royal Oman Police eVisa portal at evisa.rop.gov.om, choose Track Your Application, and enter three details: the visa application number, the passport number and the nationality shown on that passport. A passport number on its own will not bring up your visa. That is the most common reason people think the Oman visa check is broken.
Below you will find which field goes where, the two different logins for tourists and for sponsors, what to do when the tracker shows nothing, and how to make sure a work visa an agent shows you is real. We opened the ROP eVisa tracking page and its contact page on 28 October 2026.
The Oman visa check needs three details, not just a passport number
The Royal Oman Police tracking form asks for a Visa Application Number, a Travel Document Number and the Document's Nationality, plus a short text check. All four boxes are marked as required, so the search will not run if one is empty or wrong.
| Field on the form | What to type | Where you find it |
|---|---|---|
| Visa Application Number | The number given when the application was submitted | Submission screen or email, or ask your sponsor |
| Travel Document Number | Your passport number, exactly as printed | Data page of your Pakistani passport |
| Document's Nationality | Pakistan | Choose from the dropdown list |
| Text Verification | The letters in the picture | Press reload if you cannot read them |
Pick Pakistan from the nationality list even if you live in the UAE or Saudi Arabia. The form asks for the nationality of the travel document, not where you live.

Tourists and sponsors use two different logins
The portal has two doors. A tourist who applied for himself signs in under Tourist. A company, its PRO or a family sponsor signs in under PRO or Sponsor. The tracking page tells both to log in and open the Find Visa Application link.
This matters most for work visas. In Oman the employer applies, so a Pakistani worker usually never sees the application number. If you are waiting for a job visa, ask the employer or the licensed promoter for the number first. Without it, the tracker cannot find your file.
Family visit visas work the same way. The relative in Oman who sponsored you holds the account, so the quickest check is often a phone call to that relative.
How to track an Oman eVisa step by step
The whole check takes about two minutes once you have the application number. Use a laptop or a phone browser, keep your passport open beside you, and type every number by hand rather than pasting it from a message, which can add hidden spaces.
- Open evisa.rop.gov.om and switch to English at the top if the page opens in Arabic.
- Click Track Your Application in the top menu.
- Type the visa application number and your passport number.
- Choose Pakistan as the document's nationality.
- Type the letters from the picture and submit.
- If the page asks you to sign in, log in as Tourist or as PRO or Sponsor and open Find Visa Application.

The tracking page we read does not list or explain the status words you may see. If a status is unclear, the call centre is the right place to ask, not an agent's WhatsApp group.
What to do when the Oman visa check shows nothing
An empty result almost always means one detail does not match the application. Check the nationality first, then the passport number, then the application number. If all three are right and the search still fails, contact the ROP eVisa call centre with your numbers ready.
- Passport renewed: if your passport was renewed after the visa was applied for, search with the old passport number, then ask the sponsor to update it.
- Letters mixed up: a zero and the letter O, or a one and the letter I, are the usual typing errors on Pakistani passport numbers.
- Wrong person applied: if an agent says "the visa is in process" but cannot give an application number, treat that as a warning sign.
- Text check keeps failing: press the reload button for a new picture.
The portal lists a toll free number, 80080011, for callers inside Oman and +968 22848200 for callers outside Oman, including from Pakistan. The email for enquiries is Info-OmaneVisa@rop.gov.om. The two pages disagree on hours: the home page says 07:00 to 21:00 Oman time, while the contact page says the team is available 24 hours a day, every day. Call within the 07:00 to 21:00 window to be safe.

Check an Oman work visa before you pay anyone
A visa that you cannot find on the ROP tracker is not a visa you should pay for. Ask the agent for the application number, run the check yourself, and compare the name and passport number on screen with your own documents before any money moves.
For a job, the visa is only one part of the paperwork. The licensed promoter, the protector stamp and the Gulf medical all have their own checks under the rules for an Oman work visa from Pakistan. If the employer has asked for a medical, you can also check your Gulf medical report by passport number.
Before the flight, the FIA counter at the airport will look at the visa too. A printout of the approved eVisa and the sponsor's details in your hand luggage makes that conversation shorter. The five FIA checks on a foreign visa are the ones officers usually run.
Common questions
Can I check my Oman visa with only my passport number?
No. The ROP tracking form also needs the visa application number and the passport's nationality. Ask your sponsor or employer for the application number.
Which website is the official Oman visa check?
The Royal Oman Police eVisa portal at evisa.rop.gov.om. Other sites that ask for a fee to "check" your visa are not the government's.
What nationality should a Pakistani in Dubai choose?
Pakistan. The form asks for the nationality of the travel document, not your country of residence.
Who do I call if the Oman visa status is not showing?
Call 80080011 from inside Oman or +968 22848200 from Pakistan, or email Info-OmaneVisa@rop.gov.om with your application and passport numbers.
My employer applied for my work visa. Can I track it myself?
Yes, if the employer gives you the visa application number. The application sits in the sponsor's account, so the number has to come from them.
Does a tracked visa mean I can board the flight?
Not on its own. Airlines and the FIA also check passport validity, the protector stamp for work visas and other documents.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 28 October 2026. We read the Royal Oman Police eVisa home page, the Track Your Application page and the Reach Us page at evisa.rop.gov.om on that date. The field names, login types, phone numbers and email come from those pages. The tracking page does not explain status words, and the home page and contact page give different service hours, which we report as they appear. We did not run a search with a real application number, and we could not read the visa types page, which loads only in a browser session.
