Pakistan have won a bronze medal in PUBG Mobile at the Asian Games 2026 in Japan. The five-player team finished third in the esports final on Tuesday 29 September 2026, behind Thailand, who took gold, and China, who took silver.

By our count of the 12 official match sheets, Pakistan scored 100 points. Thailand scored 128 and China 114. Indonesia and Vietnam were next with 95 each, so the bronze was decided by five points.
Pakistan finished third in the 12-team PUBG Mobile final
Pakistan came third of 12 teams in the PUBG Mobile final, played over 12 matches on 28 and 29 September 2026 in Aichi, Japan. Thailand won gold and China silver, according to the official medal records.
PUBG Mobile is a battle royale game. Many teams drop onto one map, and points come from how long a team survives and how many opponents it knocks out. At the Asian Games, the final is a series of matches, and the points from every match are added up.
That format rewards steady play. Pakistan had the joint highest score in only one match, the seventh. But they scored in 11 of the 12 matches, and only one match gave them zero.
| Place | Team | Points, our total of 12 matches | Medal |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Thailand | 128 | Gold |
| 2 | China | 114 | Silver |
| 3 | Pakistan | 100 | Bronze |
| 4 and 5 | Indonesia, Vietnam | 95 each | None |
| 6 | Korea | 71 | None |
The medals themselves come straight from the official records. The point totals are our own sum of the published match sheets, because we did not find a single overall standings sheet in the system.

Five players won the bronze for Pakistan
The official medal record lists five Pakistani players: Muhammad Huzaifa, Shayan Asad, Falak Sher Memon, Hasnain Rahman and Syed Sameer. Three of them were born in 2007, so they are 18 or 19 years old.
These are the names as the results system prints them, family name first in capitals. We have written them in the usual order. The system does not list the in-game names that players use on stream, so we have not added them.
- Muhammad Huzaifa, born 2007
- Shayan Asad, born 2003
- Falak Sher Memon, born 2007
- Hasnain Rahman, born 2007
- Syed Sameer, born 2005
For young Pakistanis who play the game every day, this is a medal in a sport they know, won by players their own age.
Pakistan scored in 11 of the 12 final matches
Pakistan's best matches were the second and the seventh, with 16 points each. Their 16 in the seventh match tied Korea for the most points in that match. Their only zero came in the third match. Strong scores of 10 and 12 points late on the second day kept them clear of Indonesia and Vietnam.

Hockey and cricket semi-finals could add more medals
Two team sports give Pakistan a chance to add to the total this week. The men's hockey team meets India in a semi-final, and the men's cricket team plays Bangladesh in a semi-final on Thursday 1 October.
A semi-final win in either sport guarantees at least a silver, which would be Pakistan's first medal above bronze at these Games. The details are in the hockey semi-final against India and the cricket semi-final against Bangladesh.
