The Pakistan vs Sri Lanka tri-series final is on Saturday 31 October 2026 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, starting at 1 pm PKT with the toss at 12:30 pm. In Pakistan it is live on PTV Sports and streams on the PCB Live app, Tapmad and Tamasha. Tickets cost Rs 400 to Rs 22,000.

Sri Lanka booked their place on Tuesday with an eight-wicket win over Pakistan on the same ground. So the two finalists have beaten each other once each, and the side that won the last game did it with 31.5 overs to spare. The final starts at 1 pm PKT on Saturday 31 October

The Pakistan Cricket Board set a 1 pm PKT start and a 12:30 pm toss for every match of the series, the final included. A 50-over match with a break usually ends between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm PKT. That finish is our estimate, not a board time.

The UK times use GMT, because British clocks went back on Sunday 25 October. Families in Britain who watched the early games at 9 am now need to be up an hour sooner.

PTV Sports, PCB Live, Tapmad and Tamasha show the final in Pakistan

The board's broadcast release for the series names PTV Sports as the television channel in Pakistan. The PCB Live app, Tapmad and Tamasha carry the live stream. Abroad, the same release lists Sky Sports in the UK and Willow TV in North America.

1. On television, tune to PTV Sports from about 12:30 pm for the toss.
2. On a phone, install the PCB Live app, Tapmad or Tamasha from the official app store a day early.
3. Sign in and check that your package covers live cricket before Saturday.
4. On a Jazz SIM, Tamasha is the network's own app, so check its data offers first.
5. If a stream stalls, drop the quality setting rather than reopening the app.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka have won one match each in the series

Pakistan won the opener in Rawalpindi on 18 October by 37 runs. Sri Lanka won the return game in Lahore on 27 October by eight wickets, bowling Pakistan out for 110. The final is on the Lahore pitch where Pakistan lost.

Pakistan's own run to the final ended with the one-wicket win over England, when Shadab Khan made 113 not out from No. 8.

Pakistan's 16-man squad has Sahibzada Farhan and Maaz Sadaqat

Pakistan's squad is the original 16 minus Saim Ayub and Sufyan Moqim, who were released, plus Sahibzada Farhan and Maaz Sadaqat, who were added on 25 and 26 October. Shaheen Shah Afridi captains. Naseem Shah returned on Tuesday after a finger injury.

PMD expects dry weather in Lahore on match day

The Pakistan Meteorological Department's weekly outlook, issued on 27 October, says dry weather is expected over most parts of the country on Saturday 31 October. Its three-day forecast gives Lahore 30 to 32 degrees on Friday 30 October. Rain is not in the forecast.

Late October in Lahore brings haze and smog as well as heat, and a 1 pm start means the second innings runs under lights. That makes the toss worth something. Dew is not something PMD forecasts, so treat any talk of it as a guess.

Tickets for the final cost Rs 400 to Rs 22,000

The board's price chart lists the final at Rs 400 for General, Rs 600 for First Class, Rs 800 for Premium and Rs 1,000 for VIP. VIP Farend costs Rs 1,500, the VIP New Pavilion Rs 2,000, the VIP Gallery Rs 2,500, and a Far End Box seat Rs 22,000.
