Pakistani Passport Fee in Russia: US$25 to US$100 at the Moscow Embassy (2026 List)
Pakistani passport fee in Russia: US$25 for 5 years and US$35 for 10 at the Moscow embassy, US$100 for urgent 72 pages. Papers, ETD and child registration.

A Pakistani passport at the embassy in Moscow costs US$25 for a normal 5 year, 36 page passport and US$35 for a 10 year one, according to the fee table on the embassy's own page. Urgent ranges from US$40 to US$100, and a 72 page book costs US$50 to US$100. Below is the full dollar table, the papers to bring, the emergency travel document route and how to register a child born in Russia.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan in Moscow's pages on mofa.gov.pk on 6 November 2026. The embassy serves Pakistanis in Russia, including students at Russian universities. One warning before the table: the page still calls the book a machine readable passport (MRP), and Pakistan has been switching applicants to the e-passport. The fee you pay on the day may differ, so confirm it with the consular wing before you go.
Pakistani passport fee in Russia for 5 and 10 years
The Moscow embassy lists US$25 to US$70 for a 5 year passport and US$35 to US$100 for a 10 year one. The price depends on the number of pages and whether you choose normal or urgent processing.
| Passport | 5 years, normal | 5 years, urgent | 10 years, normal | 10 years, urgent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 36 pages | US$25 | US$40 | US$35 | US$55 |
| 72 pages | US$50 | US$70 | US$65 | US$100 |
In rupees, at the State Bank's interbank rate of Rs 276.67 on 5 November 2026, US$25 is about Rs 6,917 and US$35 is about Rs 9,683. The page does not say whether you pay in dollars or in roubles, or at which rate. Ask the consular wing before your visit.
These figures are lower than at nearby missions. The embassy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, published a new e-passport list from 23 October 2026 that starts at US$45, as our Pakistani passport fee in Kyrgyzstan page shows. That gap is one more reason to check the Moscow price on the phone first.

The 10 year passport costs less per year
A normal 36 page passport costs US$5 a year over 5 years and US$3.50 a year over 10 years. Adults with a valid CNIC or NICOP get better value from the 10 year book. Children under 15 can only get a 5 year passport under DGIP rules.
The per year figures are our arithmetic from the embassy's table. Students on a long course should also think about visas. A visa is tied to the passport it was issued in, so a book that expires mid course can mean extra paperwork with the Russian side as well.
Bring your NADRA card and old passport to Moscow
The embassy asks you to come in person with one valid NADRA card and your previous passport, each with a photocopy. If your passport is lost, bring a police report and a copy of the old passport instead.
- Check that your CNIC, NICOP or Smart National ID Card is valid.
- Make a photocopy of the card.
- Bring your previous passport and a photocopy of it.
- For a lost passport, bring the police report and a copy of the lost passport.
- Go to the embassy in person for photo and fingerprints.
If your card has expired, renew it before you apply. NADRA's online route works from Russia, and our guide to apply for a NICOP online sets out the steps.

An emergency travel document gets you home without a passport
If your passport is lost or expired and you must travel to Pakistan urgently, the embassy can issue an Emergency Travel Document (ETD). It is a one way paper for the trip home only, and the embassy issues it after checks with NADRA or the Interior Ministry.
| ETD paper | What the embassy asks for |
|---|---|
| Proof of emergency | Serious illness or death in the close family, or loss of documents |
| Application | A written request for an ETD |
| Photos | Four identical recent photos, white background |
| Old passport | Expired passport with a copy, or for a lost one a copy and police report |
| Ticket and ID | Air ticket booking and a valid or expired NADRA card with a copy |
A child under 18 needs both parents present with their original ID and the child's detailed birth certificate. Our page on entering Pakistan with a lost or expired passport explains what happens at the airport on arrival.
A child born in Russia is registered on Form S-1 first
For a baby born in Russia, the embassy registers the birth on Form S-1. Bring the form and application, two current photos of the child, the original Russian birth certificate with a translation, both parents' passport copies with proof of Pakistani nationality and your marriage certificate.
If one parent is a foreign national, that parent must also sign a letter of consent. After the registration, apply for the child's NICOP and then the passport. Families who would rather apply online can use DGIP's route for a newborn passport from abroad, which accepts babies up to two years old.

Contact the Moscow consular wing before you go
The embassy is at Khlebny Lane 21, Moscow 121069. The consular wing's number is +7 495 232 61 86 and its email is pemoscow1@gmail.com. The main chancery line is +7 495 232 61 91.
The passport page does not list consular hours or an appointment link. Call or email first, and ask three things: the current e-passport fee, how to pay it, and how long a normal and an urgent passport take.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan Moscow's passport page, emergency travel document page, child registration page and contact page on 6 November 2026. The fee table carries no date and no lost passport rows, and we could not confirm whether e-passport fees in Moscow differ from it. Rupee figures are our conversion at the State Bank's 5 November interbank rate.
