Peshawar High Court has advertised 41 posts for 2026 through ETEA, and the last date to apply online is 20 November 2026. The posts are Assistant, Computer Operator, Assistant Librarian, CCTV Camera Operator, Junior Clerk and Driver, from BPS-6 to BPS-16, open to people with a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile.

The advertisement also cancels every earlier advert for these posts, so anyone who applied before must apply again. A separate ETEA project for the Abbottabad Bench has one Judicial Assistant post that closes sooner, on 15 November. Below are all the posts, the age and education for each, the quota split and the exact ETEA steps.

We read both adverts on ETEA's own list of current projects on 24 October 2026. The Peshawar advert is project code 882 and the Abbottabad one is code 876.

The 41 posts by grade, age and quota

The Peshawar High Court is filling 41 posts in six categories. Drivers are the biggest group with 12 posts, then Assistants with 8. Ages run from 18 to 35 depending on the post, and every row has its own quota for merit, women, minorities or disabled candidates.

PostBPSPostsAgeQuota split
Assistant16825 to 30Merit 7, women 1
Computer Operator16725 to 35Merit 1, women 3, minority 2, disabled 1
Assistant Librarian16125 to 30Merit 1

The advert is in Urdu. We read the quota column and age column directly from the image on ETEA's site. If a number on your screen differs, the advert image on ETEA is the one that counts.

Education and skills each post asks for

Assistant needs a bachelor's degree, Computer Operator a four-year computing degree plus 40 words a minute typing, and Junior Clerk an intermediate certificate plus 30 words a minute. Drivers need matric and a licence. Check your row before paying the fee.

  • Assistant (BPS-16): bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
  • Computer Operator (BPS-16): four-year BS or BIT, or MSc Computer Science or equivalent, with typing speed of 40 words a minute.
  • Assistant Librarian (BPS-16): master's degree in library science.
  • CCTV Camera Operator (BPS-12): diploma of associate engineering in electrical or electronics, with two years' experience in the field. Computer literacy is required. Security or digital information technology experience is preferred.
  • Junior Clerk (BPS-11): higher secondary certificate or equivalent, computer literacy, and typing speed of 30 words a minute.
  • Driver (BPS-6): matric or equivalent, and an HTV licence, or an LTV licence with five years' experience in the field.

Age is counted on 1 January of the advertisement year, which is 1 January 2026. The advert says the upper limit can be relaxed under the usual government rules. Serving government employees must bring a no objection certificate (NOC) to the test or interview.

Abbottabad Bench has one Judicial Assistant post until 15 November

The Peshawar High Court Abbottabad Bench advertised one Judicial Assistant post in BPS-16 on open merit. It needs an LLB from a recognised university and an age of 25 to 30 on 1 January 2026. The online form opened on 15 October and closes on 15 November 2026.

This is a separate ETEA project, code 876, with its own fee. Law graduates can apply to both projects if they qualify, but each needs a separate application. The Abbottabad advert prints the closing year as 2020, a misprint. ETEA's project list gives 15 November 2026.

How to apply on ETEA in seven steps

You apply only online at etea.edu.pk. First verify your CNIC at a NADRA e-Sahulat shop with an ETEA token, then fill the form, print the deposit slip and pay the test fee through OneLink. Do not post documents to ETEA.

  1. Open ETEA's apply page and create your profile with your CNIC and an active mobile number.
  2. Print the e-Sahulat token from ETEA's website.
  3. Take the token and your original CNIC to any NADRA e-Sahulat franchise for verification.
  4. Choose project 882, Peshawar High Court, Peshawar 2026, and select your post.
  5. Submit the form and print the deposit slip with your token number and project code.
  6. Pay the non-refundable test fee through OneLink and keep the bank-stamped candidate copy.
  7. Wait for an SMS from ETEA, then download your roll number slip from etea.edu.pk.
ETEA steps to apply for Peshawar High Court jobs 2026 under project 882

The NADRA step is where most people get stuck. Any franchise that offers NADRA e-Sahulat services can do it. The wider ETEA process, including results, is in the guide to ETEA test registration and roll number slips.

The test fee is on your deposit slip

The Peshawar High Court advert does not print the fee. ETEA's own website says the application fee is Rs 500 for BS-16 and BS-17 posts. It does not list a fee for BS-6, BS-11 or BS-12, so read the amount on your deposit slip before you pay.

Grade on ETEA's fee listFee
BS-16 and BS-17Rs 500
BS-18Rs 700
BS-19Rs 1,200
BS-20 and aboveRs 1,500

The fee is not refunded. If you apply for two posts, you pay twice. ETEA sends no call letter by post, and the test date, time and centre appear only on the roll number slip. Nobody outside ETEA can sell you a seat, and any agent asking for money to "confirm" a post is running a fake job offer scam.

Domicile, documents and what happens after the test

You must hold a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile and be a permanent resident of the province. ETEA lets you sit the screening test on the details you enter, and the court checks your papers later. A false entry disqualifies you at any stage.

Keep these ready for the scrutiny stage: CNIC, domicile, degrees and marks sheets, typing or licence proof, experience letters and an NOC if you are a government employee. If your domicile is still pending, start at the KP domicile certificate portal now, because you must be eligible on the closing date.

Only shortlisted candidates are called for test or interview, and no travel allowance is paid. The court can change the number of posts or cancel the process. Results and calls go by SMS, so do not change your SIM until recruitment ends.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 24 October 2026. We read ETEA's current projects table on etea.online, which lists project 882 with a last date of 20 November 2026 and project 876 with 15 November 2026, and the two advert images linked there (Peshawar INF(P) 5226/26, Abbottabad INF(P) 5234/26). Both adverts are in Urdu; we read them as images and enlarged the small print. The fee table is from the FAQ on etea.edu.pk. We could not confirm the fee for BS-6, BS-11 and BS-12 posts or the salary, which the adverts do not state. We did not apply.
