PM Youth Programme Signs Letter of Intent for US Healthcare Secretariat: No Jobs or Applications Yet
The PM Youth Programme signed a Letter of Intent on 22 October 2026 for a US healthcare secretariat. No jobs, places or application are announced. See the plan.

The Prime Minister's Youth Programme (PMYP) signed a Letter of Intent on 22 October 2026 with Physicians Revenue Group (PRG) Pakistan to set up a PMYP United States Secretariat for Healthcare Services Cooperation. The release announces no jobs, no number of places and no application. A Letter of Intent states a plan to cooperate. It is not a contract and it does not hire anyone.
We read the Press Information Department's release, number 341, on 22 October 2026. This page covers what was signed, who signed it, what the planned secretariat would do, and what young people should and should not do about it.
PMYP and Physicians Revenue Group signed a Letter of Intent at the PM Office
The signing took place at a high-level meeting at the Prime Minister's Office in Islamabad on 22 October 2026. PMYP Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan witnessed it. Dr. Shahbaz Shamsi, Director General of PMYP, and Mansoor Ahmed, Chairman and CEO of Physicians Revenue Group Pakistan, were present.
Physicians Revenue Group is a private company. The release does not say what it will spend, how many people it will train or whether it will pay for anything. It does not give a date for the secretariat to open.

The planned secretariat would link Pakistani institutions with US healthcare
The release says the secretariat would work as a coordination platform. It would connect Pakistani institutions with US healthcare providers, universities, professional bodies, industry and the Pakistani-American medical community.
Its stated aims are to build partnerships, share knowledge, and create jobs for Pakistani youth in healthcare administration, medical and dental billing, revenue cycle management, care coordination and healthcare technology. Revenue cycle management means the work of billing patients and insurers and collecting payment. The release says the platform would be open to other institutions in both countries.
Standards for medical billing work are one of the stated aims
Two key areas are named. The first is industry standards and rules for Pakistan's medical billing and healthcare services sector, in line with US data protection, privacy and compliance requirements. The second is raising exports of healthcare services and Pakistan's competitiveness as a provider of support services.
The release adds that a focal person and a Secretariat Coordinator will be appointed, and a Joint Working Group will plan, monitor and review the work with institutions in both countries. No names or dates are given for those appointments.

No application has opened, so any fee request is a warning sign
A new announcement attracts fake offers quickly. Nothing in the release lets a person apply to this secretariat, and none of it mentions a fee. Anyone who asks for money or a CNIC copy to "register for PMYP US healthcare jobs" is not acting on this release.
- Read release 341 at pid.gov.pk before you trust a forwarded message.
- Do not pay any "registration fee" for a US healthcare job.
- Do not send your CNIC, bank details or passport to an unknown number.
- Check the PM youth business loan and similar open schemes through their own official portals.
- Build a skill that will count if jobs do open, such as a free course on DigiSkills.

What would turn the plan into jobs
Three things would have to follow: the secretariat must be set up in the US, a training or hiring route must be published, and standards for medical billing work must be written. The release names a Joint Working Group for planning, but it gives no deadline. Until a notice appears on an official PMYP or government page, the practical value of the announcement is low for job seekers.
What young people can do in the meantime
The fields in the release are real job categories in the US health system, and medical billing is a skill that can be learned. If you want to prepare, start with free, recognised training rather than a paid promise. DigiSkills and other free courses cost nothing, and they teach the computer and online work skills that any billing employer will ask for first.
Keep your expectations realistic. A Letter of Intent comes before a budget, a curriculum and a hiring plan. Each of those can take months, and some never follow. We will update this page if PMYP publishes a notice with eligibility and a link.
Common questions
What is a Letter of Intent?
It is a document where two parties say they plan to work together. It usually does not create a legal duty to hire, pay or deliver.
Can I apply for a job through this agreement?
Not yet. The release opens no application and gives no eligibility rules.
Who is Physicians Revenue Group?
The release describes it as Physicians Revenue Group Pakistan, led by its Chairman and CEO Mansoor Ahmed. We read nothing else about the company on an official page.
Where will the secretariat be based?
In the United States, by its name. The release does not name a city.
Does PMYP pay for the training?
The release does not say. No budget or cost sharing is stated.
Is medical billing work remote?
The release does not describe the work arrangement. It lists medical and dental billing as a job field only.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 22 October 2026. We read the Press Information Department release on the PMYP Letter of Intent and the department's release list on 22 October 2026. We did not open the text of the Letter of Intent itself. We found no PMYP notice about applications. Treat every plan above as announced intent, not as confirmed jobs.
