PPSC MCQ Tests on 14 and 15 November 2026: Full List of 19 Posts and 194 Vacancies in Punjab

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) will hold MCQ written tests for 19 posts on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026, in morning and evening sessions. Together these tests cover 194 vacancies, from 37 Tehsil Sports Officer posts to 95 Veterinary Officer posts. PPSC posted the list on 3 November and says admission letters will be uploaded "in due course".

Several posts are "clubbed", meaning PPSC tests them in one paper because the subject matter is close. If you applied for more than one post in the same clubbed group, you sit one test. Saturday 14 November: engineering, town planning and sports posts

The morning session on 14 November has two clubbed groups for engineers and town planners. The evening session is a single test for 37 Tehsil Sports Officer posts in the Youth Affairs and Sports Department.

Sunday 15 November: transport, veterinary, agriculture and accounts posts

The 15 November morning session has a transport group and a large veterinary group of 95 posts. The evening session covers Assistant Regional Manager in agriculture and an accounts and audit group.

CMIT posts no longer need a proficiency test

PPSC withdrew the proficiency test condition for four Chief Minister's Inspection Team posts on 30 October 2026. The corrigendum covers Advertisement No. 08/2026, published on 18 August 2026. All other conditions stay the same.

The four CMIT posts in the corrigendum are on lump sum pay:

• Assistant Director Inspection (Technical), case 25D2026
• Assistant Director Inspection (Financial Matters), case 26D2026
• Assistant Director Inspection (General), case 27D2026
• Law Officer, case 28D2026

The Technical and Financial Matters posts now sit the MCQ tests listed above, on 14 and 15 November. The notice signed by PPSC Secretary Afzaal Ahmad does not say when the General and Law Officer tests will be held.

Assistant Accounts Officer: ACCA membership only needed if you hold ACCA

On 22 October 2026, PPSC clarified the 12 Assistant Accounts Officer (BS-17) posts in the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA). An ACCA membership certificate is mandatory only for candidates who hold an ACCA qualification. Everyone else is eligible on the advertised qualifications.

These are contract posts for three years, and one of the 12 is reserved for the minority quota. This group sits its test on the evening of 15 November. The original advertisement is covered in our PPSC Advertisement 11/2026 page.

What to do before your PPSC test

Download your admission letter from your PPSC online account as soon as it is uploaded. Check the session, morning or evening, and the centre. Carry your original CNIC and the admission letter, and follow the instructions printed on the letter.

1. Log in to your account on the PPSC website with your CNIC and password.
2. Download the admission letter once PPSC uploads it.
3. Check the date, session and centre on the letter.
4. If the centre is wrong, read PPSC's centre change rules at once. They have a seven-day window, explained in our PPSC centre change guide.
5. Reach the centre early with your original CNIC and the letter.

If two of your posts fall in different sessions, you sit both tests. If they fall in the same clubbed group, one test counts for all of them.

No. PPSC withdrew the proficiency test condition for the four CMIT posts in Advertisement 08/2026 on 30 October 2026.

Do I need ACCA membership for the PPSC Assistant Accounts Officer post?

Only if you hold an ACCA qualification. Other candidates apply on the advertised qualifications.
