Most PPSC adverts are for desk jobs. This one is for people who work in sport. If you have studied Physical Education, or you have played for Pakistan, this is the rare advert that was written for you.

You qualify with a Master's in sports, or a Bachelor's plus international play
There are two ways in. The first is a Master's degree in Physical Education or Sports Sciences, with a second division, from an HEC recognised university. The second is a second division Bachelor's degree from an HEC recognised university plus selection as an international player.
Both routes need a second division. A third division degree will not do. The advert says "selected as an international player", but it does not say which sports count or what proof is needed. Ask PPSC in writing if you are not sure, and keep the selection letter.
Age limits are 18 to 25 years for men, plus 5 years of relaxation, so up to 30. For women the limit is 18 to 25 plus 8 years, so up to 33. Transgender candidates are assessed on the sex shown on their CNIC.
- Check that your degree is from an HEC recognised university.
- Check that it is a second division or better.
- Check your age against the limit on the closing date.
- Check that you hold a Punjab domicile for any district.
- Collect your marks certificates, because PPSC does not accept a CGPA.
The written test is one MCQ paper of 100 marks
PPSC will hold a single multiple-choice paper of 100 marks and 90 minutes. Half is questions on your qualification, so Physical Education or Sports Sciences. The other half is general ability, with a short list of school-level subjects.
The general ability part covers general knowledge, Pakistan Studies, current affairs, Islamic Studies (general knowledge for non-Muslim candidates), geography, basic mathematics, English, Urdu, everyday science and basic computer studies. The advert states 50% for each part.
PPSC says test schedules and syllabus are issued only on its own website. We saw no test date for this case when we read the website on 14 October. Do not trust a date from a social media post or a coaching ad.

Apply online, pay the fee, and keep your documents ready
You apply online on the PPSC website, then pay the fee through a 1Link bank, ATM, internet or mobile banking, JazzCash, Easypaisa or UPaisa. When we read the PPSC instructions on 10 October the fee was Rs 600 a post. Check the website again before you pay.
The advert says the application is not complete until the fee is paid. The full account setup and roll number slip steps are in the page on how to apply for a PPSC job and get your roll number slip. For the payment itself, see how to pay a PPSC fee with a PSID.
Bring marks certificates to the interview, not a CGPA. The same rule applies to every PPSC post, as we explain in PPSC interview documents: bring a marks certificate. If your degree is from abroad you also need an HEC equivalence certificate.
Check you are on the real PPSC website before you pay
Fake job websites copy the PPSC look and ask for fees. The advert itself warns that information shared by anyone other than the PPSC website is not authentic. Pay only after you reach ppsc.gop.pk, and never send money to a person.
A short page explains how to check the address in checking the real PPSC website before paying a job fee. Before you apply, also read the PPSC eligibility criteria and job description guide, so your application is not rejected at scrutiny.
PPSC rules also say that if the number of posts changes, no fresh applications are invited. So do not wait for a change before you apply.
