Private Hajj 2027 Booking in Pakistan: 80% of Seats Filled, About 15,000 Left Before 20 November

About 15,000 private Hajj 2027 seats are left and 80% are booked, the ministry said on 27 October 2026. Book and pay only on the Pak Hajj app by 20 November.

Short answer: about 80 per cent of Pakistan's private Hajj 2027 seats are booked, and around 15,000 are left, the Ministry of Religious Affairs said on Tuesday 27 October 2026. Booking and payment must be done on the Pak Hajj app or the Hajj portal before 20 November 2026.

That leaves 23 days from today. The ministry's spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt also confirmed that the Rs 55,000 cost of the sacrifice animal is already inside every private package. Below are the numbers, how to book what is left, and the payment trap to avoid.

About 15,000 private Hajj seats are still open

The ministry says around 15,000 seats remain under the private Hajj scheme, with 80 per cent of the available seats already booked. Bookings picked up once the Government Hajj Scheme was fully booked, which pushed more applicants towards private operators.

Private Hajj 2027 seats in Pakistan: about 80 per cent booked and 15,000 left on 27 October 2026

The ministry's notice of 4 September gave the private scheme 71,684 seats for Hajj 2027. On that base, 15,000 left is about 21 per cent, which fits the "80 per cent booked" line. That is our arithmetic, since the ministry gave the two figures separately.

The Rs 57.5 billion figure is what "pilgrims" have deposited towards Hajj dues. The spokesperson did not say whether it covers private pilgrims only or both schemes, so do not read it as the private total.

The Rs 55,000 sacrifice is already in every private package

Every private package listed on the Pak Hajj app and the Hajj portal already includes Rs 55,000 for the sacrifice animal, the ministry said. You do not pay it again to your operator. If anyone asks for a separate qurbani payment, ask them to show where it appears on the portal.

Extra facilities are different. If you want something beyond the basic package, such as a better room, you must choose it and pay for it through the portal as well. Prices for the 16 basic private packages ran from Rs 14 lakh to Rs 37.5 lakh, as set out in private Hajj package prices for 2027.

Book and pay only on the Pak Hajj app or the Hajj portal

The ministry repeated its warning: pay only through the official Hajj portal or the Pak Hajj app. It said it will not be responsible for money paid directly to any person or company. That includes your own Hajj operator if they ask for cash.

  1. Open the Pak Hajj app or the Hajj portal and sign in with your details.
  2. Compare the private packages and their operators. Note the duration, the hotel distance and the flight type.
  3. Choose a package that still shows seats, and add any extra facility on the portal.
  4. Pay the instalment through the app or portal. Private packages are paid in three equal instalments.
  5. Save the payment confirmation, and finish everything before 20 November 2026.

Before you pick an operator, check the Hajj operator is licensed. A licensed company with seats on the portal is the only safe route this year.

Unbooked seats can be moved after 20 November

The ministry's September notice said that if the private quota is not filled by the last date, it may reallocate it. So 20 November is a real cut-off. A seat you have not paid for by then may no longer be yours to book.

Five steps to book a private Hajj 2027 seat in Pakistan before 20 November 2026

Three things tend to go wrong in the last weeks. Operators say they are full while the portal still shows seats. Families split across different packages. And people wait for a cheaper package that never appears. If an operator refuses a booking the portal allows, the ministry asks you to complain through the Inquiry option in the Pak Hajj app or by email to somonitoring@mora.gov.pk, with the operator's name and evidence.

The ministry's payment rules, and why money must go into a government account, are in the six protections for private Hajj payments.

Government scheme applicants have a different timeline

The Government Hajj Scheme is fully booked, the ministry said, and its instalments were due earlier. Government package costs are about Rs 12 lakh for the long package and Rs 13 lakh for the short one. If you missed the government scheme, the private scheme is the only route left for Hajj 2027.

Prices for the government scheme are in Hajj 2027 costs from Pakistan.

Common questions

How many private Hajj seats are left for 2027?

Around 15,000, the Ministry of Religious Affairs said on 27 October 2026, with 80 per cent of seats booked.

What is the last date for private Hajj 2027 booking?

20 November 2026. Booking and payment must both be done on the Pak Hajj app or the Hajj portal by then.

Is qurbani included in the private Hajj package?

Yes. The ministry says Rs 55,000 for the sacrifice is already included in all private packages on the app and portal.

Can I pay my Hajj operator in cash?

No. The ministry says pay only through the portal or the Pak Hajj app, and it is not responsible for direct payments.

What happens to seats not booked by 20 November?

The ministry said in September that it may reallocate an unfilled private quota after the last date.

What if my operator says it is full but the portal shows seats?

Complain through the Inquiry option in the Pak Hajj app or email somonitoring@mora.gov.pk with the operator's name and proof.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read Radio Pakistan's report of the ministry spokesperson's statement on 28 October 2026. It gives the 80 per cent, the 15,000 seats, the Rs 57.5 billion, the Rs 55,000 sacrifice and the "20th of next month" deadline. We also checked the Ministry of Religious Affairs site on 28 October; its latest item was dated 23 October and it had not posted this statement. The 71,684 seat allocation, the 20 November date, the three instalments, the reallocation warning, the complaint email and the package prices come from the ministry's September notices, as recorded in our 25 October report on private package prices, and the government package costs from the ministry's August advertisement as recorded there. The seat share is our arithmetic. We could not verify whether the Rs 57.5 billion covers private pilgrims only.
