Private Hajj packages for 2027 cost from Rs 14 lakh (Rs 1.4 million) to Rs 37.5 lakh (Rs 3.75 million) in Pakistan, and the last date to choose a package and pay is 20 November 2026. The Ministry of Religious Affairs says 16 basic packages have been filed by private Hajj companies, and you can pay in three equal instalments, but only through the Pak Hajj app or the ministry's Hajj portal.

We read the ministry's private scheme notices on its latest news page on 25 October 2026. Below are the price range, how it compares with the government scheme, the instalment rule, how to book, and what to do if an operator says the seats are full.

Private Hajj 2027 packages cost Rs 14 lakh to Rs 37.5 lakh

The ministry's private Hajj scheme notice puts 2027 package prices between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 37.5 lakh per pilgrim. Most licensed Hajj companies have uploaded their packages to the Hajj portal, and 16 basic packages have been filed.

The same notice says the range includes shorter packages, packages with direct flights for pilgrims travelling from abroad, and five-star packages. Those extras explain much of the gap between the cheapest and the dearest option. Read what each package includes rather than comparing price alone, because the hotel, the number of days and the flight route change the value a lot.

The ministry has not put a single list of all 16 packages on its public news page. You see each company's packages, with their details and prices, after you sign in to the Pak Hajj app or the portal.

Private and government Hajj 2027 prices compared

The government scheme costs Rs 12 lakh for the long package and Rs 13 lakh for the short one, so the cheapest private package starts about Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh higher. The dearest private option costs almost three times the government's long package.

The government figures come from the ministry's Hajj 2027 advertisement, which also lists a 3-bed room in Makkah at Rs 70,000 extra per person. Those Hajj 2027 government scheme costs include flights, food, a SIM, sacrifice and life insurance in the basic price.

The government scheme's second instalment closed on 20 October 2026, so the government route is already in its payment stage. For a family deciding now, the private scheme is where the open choices are.

71,684 private seats, and the last date is 20 November 2026

The ministry has allocated 71,684 seats to the private Hajj scheme for 2027. You must choose a package and complete payment by 20 November 2026. If seats remain unsold by then, the ministry says it may reallocate the quota.

That last line matters. A company's unsold seats can be moved elsewhere after the deadline, so waiting for a late discount is a gamble. If you have settled on a package, finish the booking before the final week, when the portal is busiest.

Private Hajj 2027 package paid in three equal instalments by 20 November 2026

You can pay a private package in three equal instalments

A ministry notice of 11 September 2026 says private Hajj 2027 packages can be paid online in three equal instalments up to 20 November 2026. Payment goes only through the Pak Hajj app or the Hajj Management Portal.

Split three ways, the cheapest Rs 14 lakh package comes to about Rs 466,667 per instalment, and the Rs 37.5 lakh package to Rs 1,250,000. That is our arithmetic. The portal shows the exact amount for your package.

The notice does not give dates for each of the three payments. It sets only the final date. Read the schedule your portal account shows, because a missed instalment could cost you the seat.

How to book a private Hajj 2027 package on the Hajj portal

Sign in to the Pak Hajj app or hajj.mora.gov.pk, compare the packages uploaded by licensed companies, pick one, and pay the first instalment through the portal. Ask the company questions, but never pay it directly.

  1. Install the Pak Hajj app from the official stores, or open the Hajj Management Portal on a computer. Several apps carry the Pak Hajj name, so check that the publisher is the National IT Board before you install.
  2. Sign in or register with your CNIC and mobile number.
  3. Open the private scheme section and read each package: days, hotel distance, flights and what is included.
  4. Call the company if anything is unclear. The ministry asks pilgrims to contact the company for guidance before choosing.
  5. Select the package and pay the first instalment through the portal's payment options.
  6. Keep the payment receipt and pay the remaining instalments before 20 November 2026.

Before you choose, it is worth a two-minute check that the Hajj company is licensed with the ministry. A licensed company still sells through the portal; the licence is your guard if something goes wrong later.

Steps to book a private Hajj 2027 package on the Pak Hajj app in Pakistan

Never pay a Hajj company in cash or by direct transfer

The ministry says it will not be responsible for any loss if you pay cash or transfer money directly to a person, agent or company. Package selection and every payment must go through the Pak Hajj app or the portal.

The ministry has repeated this in at least four notices since August 2026, including a warning poster that says one wrong decision can wipe out a lifetime's savings. The Hajj policy also requires private Hajj money to move through formal banking channels into designated accounts, not cash. The payment protections in the Hajj policy explain how that account works.

If an agent asks for "token money" or a cash advance to hold a seat, walk away. That request alone breaks the ministry's rule.

If an operator refuses to book you, complain to the ministry

The ministry says some pilgrims were told the quota was full while the portal still showed free seats. File a complaint through the inquiry option in the Pak Hajj app, or email the Section Officer Monitoring at somonitoring@mora.gov.pk with the company's name and your evidence.

In its statement of 21 September 2026, the ministry said it will compare the seats shown on the portal with what the company told you, and that such complaints will form part of the company's monitoring report. It asked pilgrims not to stay silent. Screenshots of the portal showing open seats are the strongest evidence you can attach.

For other problems with a Hajj or Umrah company, including refunds after the journey, the route to complain against a Hajj or Umrah operator is the same ministry, with a wider set of options. The Hajj helplines on the ministry's notices are 051-9205696, 051-9216980, 051-9216981 and 051-9216982.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read these Ministry of Religious Affairs notices on its latest news page on 25 October 2026: the private Hajj scheme 2027 package notice of 4 September 2026 (16 packages, Rs 14 lakh to Rs 37.5 lakh, 71,684 seats, last date 20 November 2026, quota may be reallocated), the instalment notice of 11 September 2026, the payment warning of 10 September 2026, the booking complaints statement of 21 September 2026 and the booking problems notice of 23 September 2026, plus the government scheme Hajj 2027 advertisement for the Rs 12 lakh and Rs 13 lakh prices and room charges. The Hajj portal opens on a sign-in page, so we could not see the 16 packages ourselves, and the ministry has not published the dates of each private instalment. The per-instalment amounts are our arithmetic.
