PUBG Mobile 4.6 Update in Pakistan: Vampire Mode, Size and How to Update

PUBG Mobile 4.6 is out, and its headline feature is Midnight Hunters, a limited-time vampire mode where knocked-out players can come back as vampires. Version 4.6.0 reached the App Store on 9 September 2026. The official Android APK is 1.2 GB, and the App Store lists the iPhone download at 4 GB.

We read the patch notes on the App Store's Pakistan page and checked the version number on the official PUBG Mobile website on 28 September 2026. The game's own announcement for version 4.6 is dated 7 September 2026. Players in Pakistan get the same update as everyone else, through Google Play or the App Store.

Midnight Hunters is the new vampire mode in PUBG Mobile 4.6

Midnight Hunters pits hunters against vampires on the Battle Royale map. The main twist is Bloodline Awakening: if you are defeated, you can choose to return to the fight as a vampire and go after the hunters who are still alive.

The official patch notes list four parts to the mode. Here they are in plain words.

1. Faction Showdown, Bloodline Awakening: a limited-time mode where defeated players can return as vampires and challenge the hunters.
2. New items: the Silvermoon Chain, Twilight Bat Wings and Blood Pact, which give attack, defence, flight and faster movement.
3. Themed map areas: four major town areas have been taken over by vampires. New features such as the Hunters Guild, Clock Tower and Scream Crates are spread across the whole map.
4. PvE challenge: new computer-controlled enemies, the Bloodwalker and the Vampire Elder, with a new shield mechanic, finisher animations and rewards to unlock.

PvE means player versus environment. These enemies are run by the game, not by other players, so you can farm them for rewards between fights. The Bat Wings are the item most players will want first, because flight changes how you cross open ground.

World of Wonder gets a Halloween theme and Ocean Odyssey returns

Outside Battle Royale, version 4.6 upgrades the Brainrot gameplay in World of Wonder with a "Halloweeks" theme for a limited time. The patch notes also bring back the Ocean Odyssey themed mode from version 3.3 for a limited time in September.

World of Wonder is the part of PUBG Mobile where players build and share their own maps and modes. Halloweeks is the game's own name for its Halloween period. The notes do not give an end date for either limited mode, so if you want Ocean Odyssey, play it soon. The notes said September, and September is nearly over.

The official website's banners also show a new Royale Pass, A21, and new Gilt sets. Those are cosmetic and paid, so they do not change how the game plays.

The PUBG Mobile 4.6 download is 1.2 GB on Android and 4 GB on iPhone

The official PUBG Mobile website offers a version 4.6.0 APK of 1.2 GB. The App Store in Pakistan lists the game at 4 GB. Maps and extra content come as resource packs inside the game, so keep more space free than the download size alone.

A 1.2 GB download on mobile data is a real cost. If you are on a limited bundle, update on Wi-Fi, or check which of the 5G packages in Pakistan covers your area before you start.

Older phones may struggle with the new effects in the vampire mode. Lower graphics and frame rate settings help, and the settings that matter most are in PUBG Mobile on low-end devices.

Update PUBG Mobile to 4.6 from Google Play or the App Store

The safest way to update is through the official store on your phone. Open Google Play or the App Store, search for PUBG Mobile and tap Update. Then open the game and let it finish downloading its in-game resources before you queue for a match.

1. Connect to Wi-Fi and check you have at least a few GB of free space.
2. Open Google Play on Android or the App Store on iPhone.
3. Search for PUBG Mobile and tap Update.
4. Open the game and wait for the in-game resource download to finish.
5. Check the version number in the game's settings shows 4.6.

If Google Play does not show an update, the APK on the official pubgmobile.com website is the other safe source. Do not download PUBG Mobile APKs from random websites or WhatsApp groups. Modified files are a common way to spread malware, and using a modified client can get your account banned.

Nothing in version 4.6 is specific to Pakistan

We found no Pakistan-only change in the version 4.6 notes. The game is listed on the Pakistan App Store and on Google Play in Pakistan, and the update reached both. We did not find any new notice from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority about PUBG Mobile.

Google Play's Pakistan listing shows the game was last updated on 18 September 2026 and rates it 12+. The App Store rates it 13+. Those ratings are advice for parents, not a legal age limit. The game also has in-game purchases, including random items, which the Play listing flags.

Looking ahead, the official news page lists a version 4.7 beta test announcement dated 23 September 2026. Beta tests usually come a few weeks before the full release, but PUBG Mobile has not given a date for 4.7 yet.
