Punjab Excise Posts 20 Number Plate Re-Auction Results, Next Bidding on 19 and 20 October
Punjab Excise posted 20 number plate re-auction results on 11 October 2026. See the series, the next bidding days on 19 and 20 October and how to register.

Short answer: Punjab's Excise Department posted 20 re-auction results on 11 October 2026, ten for car series and ten for motorcycle series. The next re-auction bidding days are 19 and 20 October, then 29 and 30 October. Registration to bid closes on 18 October and 28 October.
The results sit on the Excise site's e-Auction Winners page. Each file is a PDF named after its series, for example BBK for cars or BFF for motorcycles. These are the left over "attractive" numbers that nobody won in the first sale of each series.
We read the Excise Department's winners page, its October e-auction schedule and its October re-auction schedule on 12 October 2026. The result PDFs themselves would not open as readable text for us, so we cannot report who won or for how much. Open the file for your series to see the amounts.
Excise posted 20 re-auction results on 11 October
All 20 files carry the date 11 October 2026 and the label "Re-Auction Result". They cover ten car series and ten motorcycle series from the first re-auction round, which closed on 10 October.
| Vehicle type | Series with a result posted |
|---|---|
| Motor car | AZC, AZD, AZE, AZF, AZG, BBH, BBJ, BBK, BBL, BBM |
| Motorcycle | BDC, BDD, BDE, BDF, BDG, BFE, BFF, BFG, BFH, BFJ |
The page also lists earlier results for the first sale of two October series, BBN for cars and BFK for motorcycles. Those are marked "Auction Result", not "Re-Auction Result".
We did not see a result file for the commercial series CBM, which also had a re-auction slot on 9 and 10 October. It may be posted later, or the round may have had no bids.

Two more re-auction rounds are still open in October
The Excise re-auction schedule dated 2 October 2026 lists three rounds for every series. The first is finished. Round two has registration from 11 to 18 October and bidding on 19 and 20 October. Round three has registration from 21 to 28 October and bidding on 29 and 30 October.
The same three rounds apply to the same series, so a number that stays unsold in round two goes into round three. Number selection runs from 8 am to 5 pm. Bidding opens at 9 am and closes at 9 pm, according to the schedule.
| Round | Registration | Bidding |
|---|---|---|
| Round 1 (finished) | 3 to 8 October | 9 and 10 October |
| Round 2 | 11 to 18 October | 19 and 20 October |
| Round 3 | 21 to 28 October | 29 and 30 October |
New series auctions run on the same days
Re-auctions are not the only sale this month. The e-auction schedule dated 2 October 2026 lists five car series, five motorcycle series and one commercial series. Their sales run beside the re-auction rounds.
| Series | Registration closes | Bidding |
|---|---|---|
| BBP (car) and BFL (motorcycle) | 12 October | 13 and 14 October |
| CBN (commercial) | 14 October | 15 and 16 October |
| BBQ (car) and BFM (motorcycle) | 18 October | 19 and 20 October |
| BBR (car) and BFN (motorcycle) | 24 October | 25 and 26 October |
| BBS (car) and BFP (motorcycle) | 30 October | 31 October and 1 November |
Registration for BBP and BFL closes today, 12 October, so anyone who wants a number from those series has until 5 pm. The full series list, with the price of each kind of plate, is in the explanation of the Punjab choice number plate auction.
How to bid in the next round
You register on the e-Auction portal with your CNIC, choose the number you want, pay the participation fee and wait for approval. The rules page says bidding starts on the day after the registration window closes.
- Open the Excise e-Auction portal and log in with your CNIC. New users register first.
- Pick the series and the vehicle type that match your vehicle.
- Select the number you want. It must be on the left over list for that series.
- Pay the reserve price through e-Pay. A winner gets it adjusted in the registration fee challan.
- Wait for the system to approve your registration and send a login ID and password.
- Bid on the bidding days, from 9 am to 9 pm.
- Check the result on the Winners page of the Excise site.

The reserve price for each kind of number is covered in the guide to reserve prices for number plates in Punjab. Read it before you pay, because the amount differs by number and vehicle.
What winners must do and what losers get back
A winner must register the vehicle within 15 days of the result. The Director General may allow a further 30 days only in extreme cases. If a winner does not pay the bid in time, the reserve price is forfeited and the mark is cancelled.
For people who lose, the policy says the amount is adjusted against the registration fee challan of the vehicle they register against the chassis number and CNIC or NTN they gave. The department does not pay interest on the reserve price. Winners cannot display the number until the vehicle is registered.
A winning number can only go to a vehicle owned by the person who holds the AIN. The AIN is the Automated Identification Number the system gives each bidder.
Common questions
Where do I see the re-auction results?
On the E-Auction Winners page of the Punjab Excise website. Each series has its own PDF.
Can I still bid on a left over number this month?
Yes. Round two bidding is on 19 and 20 October and round three is on 29 and 30 October, if you register in time.
What time does bidding close?
The schedule says bidding opens at 9 am and closes at 9 pm on each bidding day.
Do I need a registered vehicle to bid?
You give the chassis number and CNIC or NTN when you register. The number is later allotted only to a vehicle you own.
Is a re-auction price lower than the first sale?
We cannot say. The result PDFs did not open as text, and the policy sets reserve prices by kind of number, not by round.
Can I use the number before my car is registered?
No. The policy says the mark may be shown only after the vehicle is properly registered.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department's e-Auction Winners page, its e-Auction schedule, its re-auction schedule and its e-auction policy page on 12 October 2026. The result PDFs could not be read as text, so no winning amount is stated here. Schedules can change, so confirm on the e-Auction portal before you pay.
