RLNG Price 2026 in Pakistan: Every Month's OGRA Rate for SNGPL and SSGC, January to October (Full List)
See OGRA's RLNG price for every month of 2026 for SNGPL and SSGC, from $10.41 in January to $23.70 in July and $15.94 in October, with cargo counts and steps.

OGRA's RLNG price for SNGPL in 2026 has ranged from $10.4136 per mmBtu in January to $23.7020 in July, and stands at $15.9357 for October; SSGC's has run from $8.9770 to $22.2251 and is $14.5339 for October. Those are transmission prices without GST. Below is every month OGRA has notified this year, for both companies and both levels, with the number of LNG cargoes behind each price. OGRA's list has no April 2026 determination.
RLNG is imported liquefied natural gas turned back into gas and fed into the Sui pipelines. OGRA, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, fixes a provisional price for it each month under Section 43B of its Ordinance. Industry, CNG stations, power plants and homes on RLNG connections pay it. We read every 2026 determination on OGRA's RLNG Notified Prices page on 31 October 2026.
SNGPL's RLNG price for every month of 2026
SNGPL serves Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Its transmission price is for gas taken from the high pressure line, and the distribution price adds the losses of the local network. Both are in US dollars per mmBtu and exclude GST.
| Month | Transmission | Distribution | LNG cargoes | Notified on |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| January | $10.4136 | $11.2743 | 12 | 16 Jan 2026 |
| February | $10.4686 | $11.3345 | 8 | 13 Feb 2026 |
| March | $12.4913 | $13.5516 | 2 | 12 Mar 2026 |
| April | No determination listed by OGRA | |||
| May | $15.6237 | $16.9847 | 4 | 21 May 2026 |
| June | $17.9394 | $19.5228 | 4 | 3 Jul 2026 |
| July | $23.7020 | $25.8388 | 5 | 31 Jul 2026 |

SSGC's RLNG price for every month of 2026
SSGC serves Sindh and Balochistan. Its RLNG price is lower than SNGPL's in every month this year, mainly because SNGPL's sheet carries extra lines for its own cost of supply and for gas diverted to fertiliser plants. The same cargoes feed both prices.
| Month | Transmission | Distribution | Gap to SNGPL (transmission) |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | $8.9770 | $10.2099 | $1.4366 |
| February | $9.0301 | $10.2704 | $1.4385 |
| March | $11.0169 | $12.5354 | $1.4744 |
| May | $14.0931 | $16.0426 | $1.5306 |
| June | $16.3679 | $18.6360 | $1.5715 |
| July | $22.2251 | $25.0872 | $1.4769 |
| August | $16.0724 | $18.1345 | $1.4156 |
| September | $12.6112 | $14.2233 | $1.3815 |
| October | $14.5339 | $16.3959 | $1.4018 |
The gap column is our arithmetic. It has stayed between about $1.38 and $1.57 all year, so the two prices move together.

July was the peak and January the low point
SNGPL's transmission price more than doubled from $10.4136 in January to $23.7020 in July, then fell for two months. October's $15.9357 is the first rise since July. It is about 53 per cent above January and about a third below July.
The delivered cargo price explains much of that path. OGRA's annexes show an average delivered (DES) price of about $7.45 to $7.68 per mmBtu from January to March. July used five cargoes from Pakistan LNG Limited at $18.9843. By September and October, with cargoes from PSO again, it was $10.0642 and $10.7447.
| Month | Average delivered LNG price (DES) | Supplier of cargoes |
|---|---|---|
| January | $7.5179 PSO, $7.6548 PLL | 11 PSO, 1 PLL |
| March | $7.6817 | 2 PSO |
| June | $13.1444 PSO, $19.1337 PLL | 3 PSO, 1 PLL |
| July | $18.9843 | 5 PLL |
| August | $12.1214 | 1 PSO |
| October | $10.7447 | 2 PSO |
Fixed costs matter too. When few cargoes arrive, terminal charges are spread over less gas. In October the terminal charge on SNGPL's sheet was $2.2611 per mmBtu, against $0.4075 in January when 12 cargoes came in.
How to read OGRA's RLNG notification yourself
Each monthly file has an office memorandum, a one page notification with the effective date, and two annexes: A for SNGPL and B for SSGC. The price you want is the last line of each annex, "Weighted Average Sale Price without GST".
- Open OGRA's website, then Prices, then RLNG Notified Prices.
- Find the month under "RLNG Notified Prices (Period 2026)" and open the PDF.
- Check the effective date on the notification page. It is usually the 1st of that month, even when signed weeks later.
- Go to Annex A for SNGPL or Annex B for SSGC.
- Read the last line: the left figure is transmission, the right is distribution.
- Remember the price is provisional and excludes GST.
Several notifications came out late in the month or after it. June's was signed on 3 July and October's on 30 October, both backdated to the 1st. So a bill for the month can change after you have used the gas.
What RLNG means for a new home connection, and the terms you sign, are covered in SNGPL's RLNG gas contract. Ordinary home gas on the slab tariff has its own rates, set out in sui gas slab rates. LPG, the cylinder alternative, is priced separately by OGRA, as in the October 2026 LPG price.

Common questions
What is the RLNG price for October 2026?
$15.9357 per mmBtu for SNGPL and $14.5339 for SSGC at transmission level, without GST. Distribution prices are $17.3259 and $16.3959.
What was the highest RLNG price in 2026?
July 2026, at $23.7020 for SNGPL and $22.2251 for SSGC at transmission level.
Why is there no April 2026 RLNG price?
OGRA's RLNG Notified Prices page lists no April 2026 determination. The page gives no reason.
Why is SNGPL's RLNG dearer than SSGC's?
SNGPL's sheet includes its own cost of supply and $0.5744 for RLNG diverted to fertiliser plants. The gap has been about $1.38 to $1.57 all year.
Do RLNG prices include GST?
No. OGRA's figure is the weighted average sale price without GST.
Are the monthly prices final?
No. OGRA calls them provisional, and some figures can be adjusted to actual data later.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read OGRA's RLNG Notified Prices page and the 2026 determinations for January, February, March, May, June, July (SSGC annex), August (SSGC annex), September and October on 31 October 2026. The PDFs are scanned images, read by eye with totals checked against the lines above. The SNGPL figures for July and August are from OGRA's determinations as we read them on 11 October 2026. Gaps and percentages are our arithmetic. We could not find why OGRA lists no April 2026 price, and we do not know the rupee amount any buyer pays.
