Education and experience you need to qualify
You need a Bachelor's or Master's degree of 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics. The university must be recognised by the Higher Education Commission. A foreign university is allowed if it is a reputable one.
The experience rule is the harder part. The advertisement asks for at least five years of overall professional experience in public procurement. It prefers that this includes IT asset management and contract and service level agreement management. An SLA is the written promise of how fast and how well a supplier must deliver.
The Bank also prefers people with experience in banking and financial services. It names public procurement, regulatory compliance, risk management and governance frameworks as helpful. These are preferences, not a hard requirement. The five years in public procurement is the line that counts.
Check your degree first. If it came from abroad, make sure it is recognised before you apply. The steps for HEC equivalence of a foreign degree can take weeks, and this deadline is days away.
Age limit and what it is counted against
The age limit is 38 years at most, counted on the date of the advertisement. It is not counted on the last date to apply. That matters if your birthday falls in the next few days.
The advertisement does not publish its issue date in the text we read. The vacancies page does not show one either. If you are close to 38, write to the State Bank's recruitment desk and ask which date it uses. Do this before 12 October, not after.
The advertisement says nothing about age relaxation for any group. We do not assume any.
