Sehat Card Hospital List KP (2026): 151 Empanelled Hospitals in Every District
The Sehat Card Plus KP list shows 151 empanelled hospitals in 28 districts, 20 in Peshawar. See your district, the 16 hospitals to avoid and what to take along.

The official Sehat Card Plus Khyber Pakhtunkhwa hospital list shows 151 empanelled hospitals across 28 districts, from 20 in Peshawar and 20 in Swat to a single district hospital in Tank, Mohmand, Orakzai and North Waziristan. Free admission works only at a hospital marked empanelled, so check the status before you travel. The list also shows 11 suspended and 5 depanelled hospitals, where the card will not work.
The list sits on the Sehat Card Plus website run by State Life, the programme's insurer. We downloaded all 172 rows on 25 October 2026 and counted them by district, type and status. Below you will find every district's count, the full Peshawar list, the hospitals to avoid and what to do at the counter.
Sehat Card Plus KP lists 151 empanelled hospitals out of 172
Of the 172 hospitals on the list, 151 are marked empanelled, 11 suspended, 5 depanelled and 5 still in process. Among the empanelled ones, 81 are private hospitals, 69 are government hospitals and 1 is run as a public-private partnership.
| Status | Hospitals | Does the card work? |
|---|---|---|
| Empanelled | 151 | Yes, for admission |
| Suspended | 11 | No, until restored |
| Depanelled | 5 | No |
| In process | 5 | Not yet |
| Total listed | 172 |
A private hospital being on the list is the real value of the card. A family in Swat can be admitted at a private hospital such as Swat Medical Complex without paying, as long as the card balance covers the treatment.

The card does not work at 16 suspended or depanelled hospitals
Eleven hospitals on the list are suspended and five are depanelled, which means the Sehat Card will not pay for treatment there. Almost all are private hospitals. Going to one by mistake means paying cash or moving the patient again.
| Status | Hospital, district |
|---|---|
| Suspended | Buner Medical Complex (Buner), Qadir General Hospital (Charsadda), RHC Shagram (Chitral), Misbah International (D I Khan), Haripur International and Meher General (Haripur), Ittehad Medical Complex Amberi Kala (Karak), Kohistan Medical and Surgical Complex (Kohistan), Makkah Medical Centre (Nowshera), Mansoor Doctors Hospital (Shangla), Ahmed Rehman Hospital (Tank) |
| Depanelled | Shahina Jamil Hospital (Abbottabad), Zia Medical Complex (Charsadda), South West Health Complex (Kohat), Mehboob Eye and Charity Hospital (Mansehra), THQ Ghilji (Orakzai) |
Statuses change. A suspended hospital can be restored, and a new one can be added, so check the Sehat Card Plus empanelled hospitals page or call 0800-89898 on the day.
How to use the Sehat Card at an empanelled hospital
Take the patient's original CNIC, or a B-Form for a child, to the Sehat Card Plus counter at the hospital. A Health Facilitation Officer checks the family record and balance and issues a referral letter. Only admission is covered; routine OPD visits are paid by the patient.
- Confirm the hospital is marked empanelled, or call 0800-89898 for the nearest one.
- Go to the Sehat Card Plus counter with the patient's original CNIC or B-Form.
- The officer checks NADRA family data and the remaining balance.
- If the doctor admits the patient, a referral letter is issued and treatment is free up to the balance.
- Keep the discharge letter, and ask for a refund of any fee you paid before admission.
The Sehat Card Plus admission process says the hospital returns any consultation or test fee charged before admission. Patients are entitled to the general ward. Before you go, you can check KP Sehat Card Plus eligibility by SMS.

The list we read shows only KP hospitals
All 172 rows on the current list are in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The programme's home page says services are provided through hospitals contracted across Pakistan, but the out-of-province list was not on the page we read. Call 0800-89898 before going to a hospital outside KP.
If a listed hospital refuses a valid card, or asks for cash for a covered treatment, the routes to complain about a Sehat Card Plus hospital start with the same helpline.
Common questions
How many hospitals are on the Sehat Card Plus KP list?
172 are listed, and 151 of them were marked empanelled on 25 October 2026.
Which Peshawar hospitals accept the Sehat Card?
Twenty, including Lady Reading, Khyber Teaching, Hayatabad Medical Complex, PIC, RMI, Kuwait Teaching and Prime Teaching.
Can I use the Sehat Card for an OPD visit?
No. Sehat Card Plus covers admission. OPD consultation and test costs are paid by the patient.
What does suspended mean on the list?
The hospital cannot treat Sehat Card patients for now. Choose an empanelled hospital instead.
Can I use the KP Sehat Card in Punjab or Islamabad?
The programme says its hospitals are contracted across Pakistan, but the list we read shows only KP. Call 0800-89898 first.
What documents do I need at the hospital?
The patient's original CNIC, or B-Form for a child. Maternity cases need the head of family's CNIC.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 25 October 2026. We read the Sehat Card Plus Khyber Pakhtunkhwa empanelled hospitals page on sehatsahulat.com.pk and downloaded its full table of 172 hospitals on 25 October 2026, then counted them by district, type and status ourselves. The admission steps and refund rule come from the programme's admission process page, and the across-Pakistan statement from its home page. We could not find the list of hospitals outside KP mentioned in a reply on the site, and we did not visit any hospital. Statuses can change daily. This page is information only; for medical advice, speak to a doctor.
