Spin dryers on the NasGas store cost Rs 17,800 to Rs 24,900, read on 8 November 2026. All three spin at 1,400 turns a minute on a 5 minute timer. The cheapest is the 8 kg NGD-203. If you need a washer as well, a twin tub with a spin drum starts at Rs 33,000.
In winter, clothes hung wet take a day or more to dry, and in fog they start to smell. A spin dryer throws most of the water out in a few minutes, so clothes dry far faster on a line or a stand indoors. A spin dryer does not heat the clothes. It spins them fast so the water is thrown out through small holes in the drum. That is why it uses so little power, and why it is safe for most winter fabrics that can go in a machine.
NasGas NGD-203 Turbo Air, 8 kg
Rs 17,800. An 8 kg dryer with a 200 watt motor, 1,400 RPM spin and a double layer plastic body. RPM means turns a minute.
This is the value pick. It does the same job as the glass top NGD-201 for Rs 700 less.
NasGas NGD-201 Glass Top, 8 kg
Rs 18,500. The same 8 kg, 200 watt and 1,400 RPM figures, with a printed tempered glass top.
Pick it only if you prefer the look. The listing shows no extra drying power.
NasGas NGD-210 Glass Top, 10 kg
Rs 24,900. A 10 kg jumbo drum with a 300 watt motor, 1,400 RPM and the 5 minute timer.

A twin tub is the better buy if you need a washer too
A twin tub puts a washer and a spin dryer in one body. If you have no washer yet, it costs less than buying a single tub and a separate dryer, and it takes less floor space.

Rs 33,000. A 15 kg wash and 8 kg spin at 1,400 RPM. A single tub NWM-110 at Rs 20,700 plus the NGD-203 at Rs 17,800 costs Rs 38,500, which is Rs 5,500 more.

How to dry winter clothes faster with a spin dryer
The spin cycle does most of the work. What you do after it decides whether clothes are dry by evening or still damp the next day.
- Load evenly. Spread heavy and light items around the drum so it does not shake.
- Do not overload. Stay under the kilo figure, and spin a razai cover or blanket on its own.
- Spin for the full 5 minutes on heavy fabrics like khaddar, fleece and towels.
- Shake each item out and hang it at once, with space between pieces so air can pass.

What not to put in a spin dryer
Most cotton, khaddar, linen and fleece are fine. Some winter items are not, so check the care label first. Our care label chart explains each symbol.
- Pure wool and cashmere can stretch. Press water out in a towel instead, as our wool washing guide shows.
