Transworld Home's internet packages start at Rs 3,099 a month plus tax for 50 Mbps and go up to Rs 61,600 plus tax for 1000 Mbps. Installation is Rs 2,500 plus tax, and the helpline is 1837. Transworld sells fibre home internet in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Gujranwala.

The headline prices are only part of the deal. The cheaper plans carry a data limit for their boosted speed, the middle plans get extra speed only if you pay three months ahead, and the tax on top can be 15 or 75 per cent depending on whether you file returns. We read Transworld's packages, FAQ, advance payment offer and tax notice on 24 October 2026. Here is all of it in one place.

Transworld internet packages and prices in 2026

Transworld lists nine home internet plans, from 50 Mbps at Rs 3,099 to 1000 Mbps at Rs 61,600 a month. Every price on its site is shown "plus tax". The six plans from 50 to 250 Mbps come with extra speed under conditions printed on each card.

Transworld's FAQ still says its plans start at 40 Mbps. The plan cards on its home and internet pages start at 50 Mbps, so ask for the 40 Mbps plan by name on 1837 if you want it, but do not expect it.

The 250 GB and 400 GB lines on the two cheapest plans

The 50 Mbps card says "100 Mbps speed" and "on volume up to 250 GB". The 75 Mbps card says the same with 400 GB. Transworld does not explain the wording, so confirm on 1837 what speed you get once that volume is used.

Our reading is that the plan runs at 100 Mbps until you use that much data in the month, then falls back to the speed you pay for. That is a reading, not Transworld's words. A family that streams every evening can pass 250 GB in a few weeks, so it matters.

There is a second wrinkle. Transworld's separate advance payment page lists the 50 Mbps plan as rising to 75 Mbps for three months when you pay three months ahead, not 100 Mbps. The two pages do not agree, which is another reason to ask before you pay.

Pay three months ahead and get more speed for three months

Transworld's advance payment offer gives extra speed for three months when you pay three months' bills at once. The 100 Mbps plan becomes 150 Mbps and 250 Mbps becomes 350 Mbps. You activate it by calling 1837, and it is for residential and retail customers.

You pay forYou get for 3 months
50 Mbps75 Mbps
75 Mbps100 Mbps
100 Mbps150 Mbps
150 Mbps200 Mbps
200 Mbps250 Mbps
250 Mbps350 Mbps

The terms say the offer does not apply while you are still inside an earlier promotion. Billing at Transworld is prepaid anyway, so paying three months at once is mostly a question of whether you have the cash. On the 100 Mbps plan that is Rs 13,797 before tax.

Installation, relocation and other one-time Transworld charges

Transworld's FAQ lists installation at Rs 2,500 plus tax and says a connection usually takes 4 working days to set up. Moving it to a new address in the coverage area costs Rs 2,000 plus tax. A mesh WiFi unit costs Rs 13,350 before tax.

  • Installation: Rs 2,500 + tax, about 4 working days.
  • Relocation: Rs 2,000 + tax, only within the coverage area.
  • Temporary freeze: up to 60 days, Rs 250 + tax a month, after clearing dues.
  • Mesh WiFi device: Rs 13,350 per unit, excluding tax.
  • Optizone gaming route add-on: Rs 250 + tax a month.
  • Kaspersky Safe Kids parental control: Rs 299 + tax a month.

The mesh unit is the one to think about in a house with RCC floors, where a single router struggles to reach upstairs. Before buying one, try moving the router, as our notes on router placement for a better signal suggest.

The tax on top: 15 per cent for filers, 75 per cent for some non-filers

Transworld's tax notice says customers on the Active Taxpayers List pay 15 per cent advance income tax on internet charges. People named in FBR's Income Tax General Order are charged 75 per cent. Sales tax comes on top, which is why the bill exceeds the plan price.

The notice was issued for the change that took effect on 1 July 2024, and Transworld has not posted a newer one. If you file returns, check that your name is on the Active Taxpayers List, because that decides the lower rate. The advance tax you pay can be claimed back when you file, using the certificate Transworld issues through its self-care portal.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 24 October 2026. We read Transworld Home's home and internet pages, its FAQ, advance payment offer, coverage page, customer care page and tax notification. Prices are Transworld's own, shown plus tax; it does not publish tax-included totals, so we have not calculated a final bill. The meaning of "volume up to 250 GB" is our reading, and Transworld's home page and advance payment page disagree on the 50 Mbps upgrade. Its FAQ's 40 Mbps starting plan was not on the plan cards. We did not order a connection.
