Ufone International Call Packages in Pakistan: UK, USA, Saudi, UAE and Afghanistan Rates With Every Code (2026 List)
Every Ufone international call offer: IDD bundles on *2244#, Saudi and UAE rates on *226#, 1 paisa a second to the USA, the 22 prefix and the Afghanistan rate.
Ufone's main international call codes are *2244# for minute bundles to the UK, USA, Canada and 15 other countries, and *226# for cheaper per-second style rates to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the Gulf, India and Bangladesh. Ufone also has a 1 paisa per second offer on *2288#, a "dial 22" trick that gives up to 30 minutes for Rs 12.5, and a default Afghanistan rate. Every offer is below, with its price, code and the catches in the terms.
We read each offer page linked from Ufone's international prepaid offers page on 25 October 2026. All prices are as Ufone prints them, mostly plus tax.
Every Ufone international call offer and its code
Ufone lists five international calling offers for prepaid users. Two need a subscription code, one needs a prefix before the number, and one works by default. Postpaid users can use the Aadha Ghanta and Afghanistan offers too.
| Offer | Countries | Price | How to get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| IDD Bundle Offer | UK, USA, Canada and 15 more (mostly landlines) | Rs 7 to Rs 120 + tax | *2244# |
| Middle East, India and Bangladesh | Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, India, Bangladesh, Iran | Rs 2.99 + tax a day, then per 20 seconds | *226# |
| 1 Paisa IDD Offer | UK landlines, USA, Canada | Rs 4.99 + tax, then 1 paisa a second | *2288#, stop with *2299# |
| Aadha Ghanta Offer | USA, Canada, UK landlines | Rs 12.5 + tax for up to 30 minutes | Dial 22 before the number |
| Afghanistan Offer | Etisalat Afghanistan numbers | 0.60 a second | Default, no code |
Ufone IDD bundles on *2244# cost Rs 7 to Rs 120
The IDD Bundle Offer sells fixed minutes, from 4 minutes for Rs 7 plus tax to 120 minutes for Rs 120 plus tax. It covers landlines in 16 countries, including the UK, plus mobile and landline numbers in the USA and Canada.
| Package | Price | Minutes | Validity | Code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Package 1 | Rs 7 + tax | 4 | Same day, till midnight | *2244*1# |
| Package 2 | Rs 12 + tax | 10 | Same day, till midnight | *2244*2# |
| Package 3 | Rs 59.75 + tax | 60 | 7 days | *2244*3# |
| Package 4 | Rs 120 + tax | 120 | 14 days | *2244*4# |
The landline countries are Australia, Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Spain, Greece and the UK. Mobiles in those countries are not covered, which matters because most families abroad answer on a mobile. Calls are charged per minute, unused minutes are lost at expiry, and *706# shows what is left.
Saudi and UAE calls on *226# cost Rs 2.99 per 20 seconds
The Middle East, India and Bangladesh Offer costs Rs 2.99 plus tax to switch on for the day. After that, calls to Saudi Arabia and the UAE cost Rs 2.99 plus tax per 20 seconds, on both mobiles and landlines. The rate lasts until midnight.
- Saudi Arabia and UAE: Rs 2.99 + tax per 20 seconds.
- Bahrain and Kuwait: Rs 1.99 + tax per 20 seconds.
- Qatar: Rs 3.99 + tax per 20 seconds.
- India and Bangladesh: Rs 1.20 + tax per 20 seconds.
- Iran: Rs 6.99 + tax per 20 seconds.
By our arithmetic, a full minute to Saudi Arabia costs about Rs 9 plus tax, and a 10 minute call about Rs 90 plus tax, plus the daily Rs 2.99. Ufone adds a call setup charge of Rs 0.13 plus tax on every call. The offer is for prepaid only. Readers comparing networks can set this against the Jazz Saudi, UAE and UK call offer and Zong's Saudi Arabia calling bundles.
USA, Canada and UK: 1 paisa a second or 30 minutes for Rs 12.5
For the USA and Canada, Ufone has two cheap routes. The 1 Paisa IDD Offer charges 1 paisa plus tax per second after a Rs 4.99 plus tax subscription on *2288#. The Aadha Ghanta Offer gives up to 30 minutes for Rs 12.5 plus tax.
Aadha Ghanta needs no subscription. You dial 22 before the full number, so a US call starts 22-001 and a UK call starts 22-0044. It works on USA and Canada mobiles and landlines, and on UK landlines only. Ufone says IDD bundles and free minutes are not used on these calls, and a Rs 0.15 setup charge applies to prepaid.
The 1 paisa offer stays on until the offer ends, and you stop it with *2299#. It excludes UK numbers starting 00448, 00441 and 00442, plus Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the US Virgin Islands. By our arithmetic, 1 paisa a second is 60 paisa a minute, so a 30 minute call costs about Rs 18 plus tax and setup.
How to choose and switch on the right Ufone offer
Start from the country and whether the person answers on a mobile or a landline. Then pick the code. For a long US call, Aadha Ghanta is hard to beat. For Gulf mobiles, use *226#, because *2244# covers almost no mobiles outside the USA and Canada.
- Ask whether the number abroad is a mobile or a landline.
- USA or Canada: dial 22 before the number, or subscribe with *2288#.
- Saudi, UAE, Gulf, India or Bangladesh: dial *226# first.
- UK or European landline: pick a bundle on *2244#.
- Keep the confirmation SMS, and dial *706# to check bundle minutes.
Afghanistan needs no step at all. Ufone says its Afghanistan rate is on by default for prepaid and postpaid, for Etisalat Afghanistan numbers only, at 0.60 a second. That is about Rs 36 a minute if the figure is in rupees, which the page does not state. AWCC and Roshan numbers are better served by the Zong Afghanistan call offers.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 25 October 2026. We read Ufone's international prepaid offers page and its pages for the IDD Bundle, Middle East India and Bangladesh, 1 Paisa IDD, Aadha Ghanta and Afghanistan offers at ufone.com on 25 October 2026. Prices, codes, countries and terms come from those pages. Per minute costs are our arithmetic. Several pages call the offers "limited time" without an end date, and the Afghanistan page gives "0.60/sec" without a currency, so we could not confirm those. We did not buy an offer or test a call.
