VU Fee Voucher Fall 2026: Due 5 November, How to Download, Split Into Instalments and Work Out Your Fee
VU's Fall 2026 fee voucher is due on 5 November 2026. See how to split it into instalments in VULMS, the fee per credit hour and worked BS and MS examples.

The Virtual University (VU) semester fee voucher for Fall 2026 was issued on 29 October 2026 and is due on 5 November 2026. You can split it into instalments yourself: log in to VULMS, open Account book and click Convert to Installments next to the full semester voucher. For a typical BS student taking five 3 credit hour courses, the semester comes to about Rs 18,100 on VU's own fee table.
A VU fee question usually starts the same way. The voucher appears in VULMS, the amount looks larger than expected, and the due date is a week away. Below is what VU announced, how its fee is built, a worked example by program, how instalments work and the other dates in the Fall 2026 calendar. We read VU's notice, fee pages and academic calendar on 2 November 2026.
The Fall 2026 VU semester voucher is due on 5 November 2026
VU's news item of 29 October 2026, "Issuance of Semester Voucher for Fall, 2026", says the voucher has been issued and its due date is 5 November 2026. It applies to the full semester voucher in your VULMS account. Queries go through the Help link on the VU website or VULMS.
The notice is short. It does not list payment channels, a late fee or what happens after 5 November. Those details sit on the voucher itself inside VULMS, which we cannot open without a student login. So read your voucher carefully before you pay, and keep the paid copy.

Split the voucher into instalments from Account book in VULMS
VU lets students convert the full semester voucher into instalments without visiting an office. Log in to VULMS, go to Account book, click Convert to Installments beside the full semester voucher, then set up the instalments the system allows.
- Log in to VULMS with your student ID and password.
- Open Account book from the menu.
- Find the full semester voucher for Fall 2026.
- Click Convert to Installments next to it.
- Set the instalments, then download and pay the first one by its due date.
The notice does not say how many instalments are allowed or when each falls due. The system shows that once you start the conversion. Do it before 5 November, because the conversion is offered against the full semester voucher, and we cannot tell from the notice whether the option stays open after the due date.

VU charges Rs 1,050 per credit hour for BS and associate degrees
VU's local fee table, applicable from Fall 2026, charges Rs 1,050 per credit hour for BS, Bachelors, Associate Degree and B.Ed students. Masters and diploma students pay Rs 1,610. MS and PhD students pay Rs 3,100 per credit hour.
On top of tuition, every semester carries an enrollment fee and an exam fee. VU's other charges add Rs 100 for fee collection and Rs 500 for societies, clubs and sports each semester. Lab courses add a separate fee per credit hour: Rs 2,150 for computer science labs and Rs 3,200 for bio sciences labs in BS programs.
| Program | Tuition per credit hour | Enrollment fee per semester | Exam fee per semester |
|---|---|---|---|
| Associate Degree, Bachelors, BS, B.Ed | Rs 1,050 | Rs 1,000 | Rs 750 |
| Masters | Rs 1,610 | Rs 1,000 | Rs 750 |
| Diploma | Rs 1,610 | Rs 1,000 | Rs 750 |
| MS and PhD | Rs 3,100 | Rs 3,000 | Rs 750 |
A BS student with 15 credit hours pays about Rs 18,100
Take a BS student with five courses of 3 credit hours, so 15 credit hours. Tuition is 15 times Rs 1,050, which is Rs 15,750. Add Rs 1,000 enrollment, Rs 750 exam, Rs 100 collection and Rs 500 societies, and the semester comes to Rs 18,100.
That is our arithmetic from VU's published fee table, not a figure from your voucher. Your amount will differ if you take more or fewer credit hours, have a lab course, or carry any one-time charges. New students also paid one-time admission, registration, security and processing fees when they joined. VU's own Fee Calculator on its website will give the same kind of estimate for your exact courses.
An MS student with 9 credit hours works out differently: 9 times Rs 3,100 is Rs 27,900, plus Rs 3,000 enrollment and Rs 750 exam. With collection and societies charges, that is about Rs 32,250 before any thesis or research fee.

Midterms start on 7 December, so clear the voucher well before
VU's Fall 2026 calendar puts midterm exams from Monday 7 December 2026 and final term exams from Monday 25 January 2027. Results are due on Thursday 25 February 2027. Classes began on 12 October 2026.
VU's schedule of other charges also lists a date sheet late fee of Rs 500 and a double late fee of Rs 1,000, a readmission fee of Rs 2,000 and a semester freeze fee of Rs 2,000. The fee pages we read do not tie any of these to a missed voucher. Still, paying on time is the cheapest way to avoid finding out. If you are struggling with the fee, note that the calendar closed applications for the VU need-based scholarship for Fall 2026 on 30 October. The course add and drop window, which shaped your credit hours, ran as set out in VU Fall 2026 classes and add or drop dates.

Last checked 2 November 2026. We read VU's notice "Issuance of Semester Voucher for Fall, 2026" dated 29 October 2026, the local fee structure, the schedule of other charges and the Fall 2026 academic calendar on the VU website. The worked examples are our own arithmetic. We could not see a voucher, payment channels, instalment dates or late fee rules, because those sit inside student VULMS accounts.
