How to Watch the Ballon d'Or 2026 Ceremony Live in Pakistan: 1 am Time, Free on DAZN

The Ballon d'Or 2026 ceremony starts at 1:00 am Pakistan time on Tuesday 27 October. The show starts at 8 pm London time on Monday 26 October at the London Palladium. The men's Ballon d'Or is the last award of the night, due at 2:46 am PKT.

Update, 27 October 2026: the ceremony started about 45 minutes late because of traffic in London, at about 1:45 am PKT, so every award came later than the times below. Harry Kane won the Ballon d'Or 2026, and Alexia Putellas won the women's award. Our pick, Lamine Yamal, won the Kopa Trophy instead.

To watch the Ballon d'Or ceremony live in Pakistan, open DAZN, which holds the worldwide streaming rights and is showing it free. We explain how below, along with the full timetable in PKT and our own pick for the winner.

This year is different. It is the first Ballon d'Or ceremony held outside France, and the first since the 2026 World Cup, which Spain won. That World Cup has turned the race into a close fight between Harry Kane and Lamine Yamal.

Ballon d'Or 2026 Time in Pakistan

The UK moved its clocks back on Sunday 25 October, so London is now on GMT, five hours behind Pakistan. That makes every time below simple: add five hours to London time.

DAZN, the rights holder, has published a time for each award. Here it is in Pakistan time. All times are early Tuesday 27 October.

The red carpet is reported to start about two hours before the show, at around 11 pm PKT on Monday. Live shows often run a few minutes late. If you only want the big moment, set an alarm for 2:30 am PKT.

Where to Watch the Ballon d'Or Ceremony Live in Pakistan

There is no Pakistani TV channel listed for the ceremony. PTV Sports, A Sports and Ten Sports have not announced it. The legal options are online.

• DAZN. DAZN holds the exclusive worldwide rights and says the ceremony is "live and FREE" on DAZN. You need a free DAZN membership, made with just your email address. Use the DAZN app or dazn.com. DAZN adds that some territories are excluded but does not list them, so sign up early to check that it opens for you.
• ballondor.com. The official Ballon d'Or website is also reported to carry a live stream. We could not open it to confirm.
• Official social accounts. The Ballon d'Or accounts post each winner the moment it is announced, which helps if your stream lags.

Our advice: open DAZN before 1 am, not at 2:40 am. Account sign-ups slow down when millions of people join in the last minutes before the main award.

Who Will Win the Ballon d'Or 2026? Our Pick

Thirty players are on the men's shortlist. Four names lead the race, and we think it comes down to two.

Lamine Yamal (Barcelona and Spain). He won the World Cup with Spain in July, when Spain beat Argentina 1-0 after extra time in the final. He was also named LaLiga's player of the season. He is 19. If he wins tonight, he will be the youngest Ballon d'Or winner ever.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich and England). Kane had the best scoring season of his life. Reported totals range from 61 to more than 70 goals for club and country, depending on which matches are counted. He has also reportedly won the Bundesliga and the German Cup with Bayern. For most of August and September, he was the favourite.

Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid and France). He won the World Cup Golden Boot with ten goals. But France lost the third place match to England, and that hurts him with voters.

Rodri (Manchester City and Spain). He won the World Cup Golden Ball as the best player of the tournament. He already won the Ballon d'Or in 2024.

Our pick: Lamine Yamal, by a small margin. Here is why. Voters weigh the big trophy most, and Yamal has the World Cup. He also had a full club season at a high level. Kane has better numbers, but England went out before the final. The betting markets point the same way. They moved from Kane to Yamal after voting closed on 28 September.

Our outside pick: Rodri. Voters may split between Yamal and Kane. If they do, the Golden Ball winner from the champion team could come through the middle.

This is our prediction, not a result. The result is known only when the trophy is handed over, due at 2:46 am PKT.

Other Awards on the Night

The men's Ballon d'Or is the headline, but the ceremony hands out several other trophies, most of them for both men and women. They are the Kopa Trophy for the best young player, the Yashin Trophy for the best goalkeeper, the Gerd Müller Trophy for the top scorer, Coach of the Year, Club of the Year, the People's Choice Award and the Sócrates Award for charity work. The women's Ballon d'Or comes ten minutes before the men's.

Voting covers the 2025-26 season, from 3 August 2025 to 19 July 2026, the day of the World Cup final. Each voting journalist picks a top ten from the shortlist of 30.

What We Checked and What We Could Not

We confirmed the World Cup final result, Rodri's Golden Ball and Mbappé's Golden Boot on FIFA's own pages. We took the start time, the award order and the free stream from DAZN, which holds the streaming rights. One older DAZN page gave the start as 8 pm BST. The newer one gives 8 pm GMT, which is right, because UK clocks went back on 25 October. The official ballondor.com site refused our requests, so we could not read its own timetable page or confirm its live stream. If the timings change tonight, we will update this page.

We could not test the DAZN stream from a Pakistani connection before publishing, because the show had not started. Goal totals for Kane differ between reports, so we give a range and not one number.
