Zong's My5 Student Bundle costs Rs 5,000 a month for 200 GB of data, 20,000 Zong minutes, 2,000 minutes to other networks and 20,000 SMS, but it works only inside the campuses of 33 listed universities. The regular My5 bundle has the same resources at Rs 6,000. Zong's page shows the dial code *4466#.

We read Zong's My5 Student Bundle page and its prepaid bundle list on 22 October 2026. A student who lives off campus will not get this price, so read the location rule before you pay.

The student bundle is the My5 family bundle at Rs 1,000 less

My5 and the student version carry the same resources: 200 GB, 20,000 Zong minutes, 2,000 off-net minutes and 20,000 SMS for 30 days. The student version is Rs 5,000 and My5 is Rs 6,000, so students save Rs 1,000 a month.

The student page also lists three free extras: a Golootlo subscription, Webdoc and Zong TV. It does not say what each one includes or how long it lasts. Ask Zong before you count on them.

Zong My5 Student Bundle compared with the regular My5 bundle

It is sold only inside the campus of a listed university

Zong says the bundle is whitelisted at university sites under its University Drive scenario. In plain words, the offer is available only within the listed university locations. If you are outside the campus zone, the bundle is not offered to you.

Zong's rule for family members is stricter. Both the parent member and the child member must be inside the whitelisted zone, and the parent can add a child only if the child is also there. For how My5 sharing works in general, see Zong My3, My4 and My5 family sharing bundles.

The page does not explain how Zong checks the location. It does not say whether the bundle stops working if you leave campus. Both are questions for Zong's helpline on 310.

Thirty-three universities in 20 city and area labels are on the list

Zong's list covers universities in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad and smaller places such as Mardan, Mansehra, Swat and Okara. The list is by campus, so a different campus of the same university may not be included.

Zong My5 Student Bundle dial code *4466# and monthly price

At Rs 25 a GB, the student bundle costs more than Zong's plain 200 GB monthly bundle

Rs 5,000 for 200 GB is Rs 25 a GB. Zong's Monthly Pro Max Plus lists the same 200 GB, 20,000 Zong minutes and 2,000 off-net minutes for Rs 2,800, which is Rs 14 a GB. The student bundle adds 20,000 SMS and three extras for Rs 2,200 more.

Those per-GB figures are our arithmetic from the prices on Zong's bundle list. For the cheaper data-heavy options, read the Zong monthly Pro, Pro Max and Digital Max bundles compared. Pro Max Plus does not list SMS on Zong's bundle list. We did not read its own page, so check its rules before you switch. Most students will pay less on a plain monthly bundle unless they need the SMS and the extras.

  1. Confirm your campus is on Zong's list.
  2. Compare Rs 5,000 with a data-only monthly bundle.
  3. Stand inside the campus zone when you subscribe.
  4. Dial the code Zong shows, *4466#, and read the reply.
  5. Keep the confirmation SMS for any dispute.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 22 October 2026. The price, resources, free extras, location rule and university list come from Zong's My5 Student Bundle page and prepaid bundle list at zong.com.pk, which we read on 22 October 2026. The savings, the per-GB figures and the university counts are our own arithmetic. We did not subscribe or test the location check, so we could not confirm tax, renewal, or what happens when you leave campus.
