Apply for e-Rozgaar Training in Punjab: Matric Needed, Fee Now Charged
Apply for e-Rozgaar 2.0 in Punjab: sign up on the PITB portal with your CNIC, pick one of 16 courses and pay the fee. Matric needed. Steps and contacts inside.

To apply for e-Rozgaar in Punjab, sign up at portal-erozgaar.pitb.gov.pk with your email, CNIC, province and district, choose a course, pay the admission fee, and pass document verification. You need a valid CNIC, Form B or domicile, and at least matric or O Levels. Under e-Rozgaar 2.0, training is no longer free.
Many people still remember e-Rozgaar as the free freelancing course run in Punjab's universities. That version has changed. We read e-Rozgaar 2.0's own website, FAQs and sign-up form on 2 October 2026, and the programme now says plainly that "a fee will be charged for the training course selected by the candidate."

e-Rozgaar 2.0 is a paid digital skills programme run by PITB
e-Rozgaar 2.0 is the Punjab government's digital skills and freelancing training programme. The Punjab Information Technology Board, PITB, runs the central portal, curriculum and final assessment. Partner colleges and institutes deliver the classes, online or in person, and charge a course fee.
PITB's own list of its role is specific. It runs registration, verification and enrolment, writes and updates the curriculum, screens and trains the trainers, conducts the final assessment, and issues the certificates. The partner institute supplies the classroom and the teaching.
That split matters when something goes wrong. A timetable or classroom problem is the institute's. A portal, verification or certificate problem goes to PITB. e-Rozgaar says it has trained more than 100,000 graduates since it began.
Who can apply, and what it costs
You can apply with a valid CNIC, Form B or domicile and at least matric or O Levels. The fee depends on the course, the training centre and the number of training hours. e-Rozgaar does not publish a fee table on its public pages, so you see the amount after choosing a course.
| Item | What e-Rozgaar 2.0 says |
|---|---|
| Identity | Valid CNIC, Form B or domicile |
| Education | Matriculation, O Levels or above |
| Fee | Charged; varies by course, centre and training hours |
| Course length | 50 to 100 hours of training per course |
| Mode | Online or in person, depending on the centre |
| Certificate | Digital, co-branded by PITB and the partner, with grades |
Compare the fee before you commit. The same skill may be free elsewhere. DigiSkills, the federal online programme, charges nothing; its course list is in the DigiSkills 3.0 free courses. e-Rozgaar's case is the classroom, a trainer you can question and a graded certificate.
Apply on the e-Rozgaar portal in six steps
Register on portal-erozgaar.pitb.gov.pk, log in, choose a course and a training centre, pay the admission fee, and wait for document verification. Once your documents are verified, you are enrolled in the programme. e-Rozgaar's own page lists the stages as register, fee, verification and enrolment.
- Open the sign-up page. Go to portal-erozgaar.pitb.gov.pk and click Sign Up.
- Fill in the form. It asks for email, confirm email, name, CNIC, province, district, password and confirm password.
- Type, do not paste. The form blocks copy and paste in the email and password fields, so type both carefully.
- Accept the declaration and sign up. You confirm your details are true and that you will attend the sessions.
- Log in, pick a course and centre, and pay the fee. The fee step is the second stage in e-Rozgaar's admission process.
- Wait for verification. Keep your CNIC or Form B and your matric certificate ready, because documents are verified before enrolment.

The declaration is not a formality. False details can disqualify you, and e-Rozgaar's terms say a trainee can be removed for missing sessions or failing to meet performance criteria.
The 16 courses e-Rozgaar offers
e-Rozgaar 2.0 lists 16 courses, from full stack web development and cyber security to SEO, Shopify and a freelancing masterclass. Not every course runs at every centre. Each course is 50 to 100 hours, and finishing it needs both attendance and passing the assessments.
- Development: Web Development (Full Stack), Hybrid Mobile App Development, Automate with Python, WordPress, The Art of Game Creation.
- Technology: Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and DevOps, Cyber Security.
- Design: Creative Designing, Advanced UI/UX Designing.
- Marketing and content: SEO and Blogging, Content Marketing and Advertising, Social Media Marketing (Meta and Google Ads), Digital Content Creation for YouTube.
- Selling and freelancing: E-Commerce (Shopify Expert), Freelancing Masterclass.

The Freelancing Masterclass covers platform profiles, client hunting, proposal writing and client management. It pairs well with one hard skill. On its own it teaches you to sell something you cannot yet make.
Certificates, banking help and where to complain
Trainees who meet the attendance and assessment criteria get a digital certificate with grades, which you can download from the e-Rozgaar website by entering your CNIC. PITB also says it helps trainees open bank accounts. For problems, email erozgaar@pitb.gov.pk or call 042-99000000.
The extensions shown differ across e-Rozgaar's pages: 1908 and 1516 on the homepage, 1918 and 1516 on the contact page, and 1918, 1908 and 1920 in the FAQ. Try them in that order. The FAQ also gives info.erozgaar@pitb.gov.pk as an email address.
Once you are earning, the money side matters as much as the skill. A payout route that works without PayPal comes first. If you would rather look for a salaried job in Punjab, you can register on the Punjab Job Portal, and TEVTA courses cover trades outside IT.
