The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore published one notice for private sector MBBS and BDS admissions for session 2026-27. We read it on the UHS website on 22 October 2026. You need at least 50 per cent in MDCAT and 60 per cent in HSSC Pre-Medical
For BDS the MDCAT pass mark is 50 per cent, against 55 for MBBS. The MDCAT can be from 2026, 2025 or 2024. The HSSC Pre-Medical result, or an equivalent 12 year qualification recognised by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), must be at least 60 per cent with Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
Merit is Matric 10 per cent, FSc 40 per cent and MDCAT 50 per cent. If you missed the 50 per cent line this year, our report explains the UHS MDCAT 2026 result. Overseas Pakistanis and dual nationals have a 15 per cent seat quota in each dental college, and can use SAT-II, MCAT (International) or UCAT scores in place of MDCAT, with 50 per cent in the required subjects.
Eighteen private dental colleges and dental sections are listed
The notice lists 18 private dental colleges. Some stand alone, and some are dental sections of a medical college. Examples are Avicenna Dental College, Azra Naheed Dental College, Rahbar College of Dentistry, Rashid Latif Dental College, Shahida Islam Dental College, Watim Dental College and Margalla Institute of Health Sciences in Rawalpindi.
Others are dental sections of Akhtar Saeed, FMH, Lahore Medical and Dental College, Multan Medical and Dental College, Sharif Medical City and the University Medical and Dental College in Faisalabad, which is for girls only. Faryal Dental College in Sheikhupura and Islam Dental College in Sialkot are also listed. Use the UHS notice for the full names and websites.

Apply separately from MBBS, and rank at least one college
UHS says MBBS and BDS admissions are separate. Each needs its own portal and its own application. A student who wants both must file two forms. You must rank at least one college, and you can choose as many as you like. A college you do not list cannot admit you.
The processing fee is Rs 2,000, non-refundable and non-transferable, paid at BOP or NBP by challan or 1Bill invoice, never by 1Bill top-up. Upload scans in PNG or JPG under 500 kb: matric and HSSC certificates, domicile, your CNIC or B-Form, and a parent's CNIC.
- Wait for 18 December 2026, then register at privatebds.uhs.edu.pk.
- Enter your marks and MDCAT result, and choose your seat category.
- Upload documents of under 500 kb each in PNG or JPG.
- Rank your dental colleges in order of preference.
- Pay the Rs 2,000 fee and upload the receipt.
- Submit before 5:00 pm on 1 January 2027.

The Rs 600,000 deposit rule appears in the same notice
The admission procedure in the notice is one section for both programmes. It says candidates on the merit list deposit Rs 600,000 to UHS within three working days. It does not give a separate BDS figure, so the same rule reads as covering dental seats. Confirm that with UHS on 042-99231308 before you pay.
The payment rules are explained in the guide to the Rs 600,000 private medical college deposit. If you want a seat in a public dental college, the separate calendar is in the report on UHS BDS admission to public dental colleges. The rules in the Punjab policy are in the report on the MBBS and BDS admission policy 2026-27.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 22 October 2026. We read the UHS notice "MBBS and BDS Admissions, Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges in Punjab, Session 2026-27" on the UHS website. The BDS dates, college list, eligibility and fee rules come from that notice. The BDS portal is not open yet, so we could not test it. We could not see a publication date on the notice and we did not check any college's fee. Confirm the dates on UHS before you plan around 18 December.
