Bacha Khan Medical Complex in Swabi has 51 numbered positions open, from System Administrator to Account Technician. The last date for the ETEA online application is 25 October 2026. You sit an ETEA screening test first, and only qualifiers send a paper application to the hospital, with a Rs 2,000 processing fee.
We opened the Latest Advertisements list on ETEA's website on the evening of 7 October 2026. The top row is project 866, Bacha Khan Medical Complex Swabi Medical Teaching Institution, last date 25 October 2026. We downloaded the eight page advertisement from ETEA's own site and read it through. This page covers what it says and no more.

The advertisement lists 51 positions in a medical teaching hospital
The hospital is a Medical Teaching Institution that includes Gajju Khan Medical College, Bacha Khan Medical Complex and its allied hospitals in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The advertisement numbers its positions from 1 to 51. It does not state how many seats each position has.
That is worth knowing before you build hopes. A list of 51 titles is not 51 jobs. The advertisement gives no seat count and no salary. The hospital also says it can increase, decrease or cancel any of the positions.
The posts fall into five groups. We list them below in plain terms, so you can find yours quickly.
| Group | Example posts | Typical requirement |
|---|---|---|
| IT and data | System Administrator, Network Administrator, Database Administrator, HMIS Administrator, Help Desk Support Engineers, Data Entry Operator | BCS or MCS from an HEC recognised university, 1 to 5 years experience |
| Management and audit | Audit Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Facility Supervisor, Purchase Officer, Inventory Officer, HR Assistant | Bachelor's or Master's degree, 1 to 5 years experience |
| Pharmacy | Pharmacist, Resident Pharmacist, Trainee Pharmacist, Pharmacy Salesman | Pharm-D with Category A registration, or Diploma in Pharmacy Category B |
| Clinical and technical | Respiratory Therapy, Physiotherapist, Dialysis, Cardiology, Surgical, Anesthesia, Laboratory, Radiology, Ophthalmology and Endoscopy Technicians, Phlebotomist | BS in the relevant technology from an HEC recognised university, about 1 year experience |
| Support and engineering | CSSD Supervisor and Technician, Oxygen Plant Technician, Boiler Operator, Biomedical Technician, Sub-Engineer (Civil), CCTV Operator | DAE, FSc or a vocational certificate, 1 to 5 years experience |
Qualification and experience, with examples
Most IT and management posts ask for a BCS, MCS or another 16 year degree from an HEC recognised university. Clinical technician posts want a BS in the same technology. Experience runs from six months to five years, and it counts only from the date you earned the required qualification.
Here are the exact lines for some of the posts people search for most.
- System Administrator: BCS or MCS plus five years in system administration, virtualization, server management, and backup and recovery.
- Network Administrator: BCS or MCS with MCSE or CCNA, and three years in network administration.
- Audit Officer: CA Finalist, ACCA or ACMA with three years in audit, or an MBA Finance with five years.
- Pharmacist: Pharm-D with valid Category A registration and two years in an ISO accredited or tertiary care hospital.
- Surgical, Anesthesia, Laboratory or Radiology Technician: BS in the relevant technology and one year of experience.
- Oxygen Plant Technician: FSc or equal with two years in oxygen plant systems. Preference to DAE holders.
- Account Technician: B.Com, BBA, BS in accounting or finance, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter or ICMA Inter, with one year in accounts and bookkeeping.
- Sehat Card Facilitator: FA or FSc with a Diploma in IT from a government recognised technical board, and six months in Sehat Sahulat Card services.
Experience in a tertiary care hospital is preferred for every post. The advertisement states no age limit that we could find. Check the ETEA portal entry for your post before you pay.
Two stages: an ETEA test, then a paper application
You apply online through ETEA to sit a screening test. Only candidates who qualify are then asked to send a full application to the hospital's human resources department. That second step has its own Rs 2,000 fee and a courier deadline.
The first stage uses ETEA's portal. The second stage is slower and easy to miss. After ETEA sends the details of qualifiers, you must get your papers to the Human Resources Department at Bacha Khan Medical Complex, Shahmansoor, Swabi, within 15 working days of being told your result. Your file needs a cover letter, CV, attested educational testimonials, CNIC, experience certificates and the original bank deposit slip. Send it in a sealed envelope by courier, with the post name written on it. By hand applications are not accepted. The hospital's website bkmcs.edu.pk carries the job specification and application form.
Incomplete files, or files without the deposit slip, are rejected. The advertisement also says no document can be changed or replaced after it arrives.
How to apply on ETEA before 25 October 2026
Create a profile on ETEA's website, verify your CNIC at a NADRA E-Sahulat kiosk, pay the test fee through One Link and submit. Online applications opened on 6 October 2026 and close on 25 October 2026. You send no papers to ETEA.
- Open the ETEA website and find project 866 in the Latest Advertisements list. Press Apply Now.
- Create your profile. Before you pay for any post, print the E-Sahulat token from ETEA's site and get your CNIC verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise. Without it you cannot apply. The NADRA E-Sahulat franchise notes explain what the kiosk does.
- Submit the online application. ETEA creates a deposit slip with your token number, project code and details.
- Pay the non-refundable test fee through One Link at any bank branch, and keep the stamped candidate copy. The advertisement does not print the amount.
- Wait for the SMS from ETEA, then download your roll number slip. Do not use a ported or converted mobile number.

The same flow applies to other Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tests, as ETEA test registration and results describes. If you are new to this kind of form, the steps for applying for government jobs online cover documents you should scan first.
Fees, rules and what happens after you are selected
The hospital's processing fee is Rs 2,000, non-refundable, paid into the account named in the advertisement. Cheques and pay orders are not accepted. Salary starts only after your degrees and experience certificates are verified, and you pay the verification fee.

Other rules in the advertisement are worth reading twice. Serving employees must apply through proper channel and resign on selection. Selected staff must be willing to move to affiliated hospitals, named as THQ Topi and Lahore. Service is governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015, as amended. Only shortlisted candidates are called to interview, with originals in hand and no travel allowance. Anyone with a conviction, a past dismissal, false information or forged papers can be thrown out.
The hospital's contact details in the advertisement are 0938-280214 and hr@bkmcs.edu.pk. We have no link to the hospital's other roles, only this advertisement. Other openings in the province are listed in KPPSC jobs and how to apply.

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read ETEA's Latest Advertisements list and the full eight page advertisement for project 866 on ETEA's own site, including the posts, qualifications, the Rs 2,000 processing fee, the 15 working day rule and the 25 October closing date.
