To send money from a bank account to JazzCash or Easypaisa, open your banking app, choose a funds transfer to another bank, pick JazzCash (Mobilink Microfinance Bank) or easypaisa Bank from the list, and enter the receiver's mobile number as the account number. If the receiver has a Raast ID, you can send to the mobile number by Raast instead. Both wallets charge nothing to receive.

The question we hear most is simply "what do I put in the account number box?" The answer is the wallet holder's mobile number, because JazzCash and Easypaisa both use the phone number as the account number. We read both wallets' schedules of charges for October to December 2026, JazzCash's terms and Easypaisa's FAQ on 31 October 2026. Here are the steps for any bank app, the fees on both sides, and the fixes when the title does not appear.

The wallet number is the account number

JazzCash's terms say every account carries a distinctive account number, which is the mobile number. Easypaisa's FAQ says the mobile account number is the same as the phone number. So in your bank app you choose the wallet as the bank and type the 11-digit mobile number.

Type the number in the format the app's hint shows, such as 03001234567, then wait for the account title to load before you go further. The title is your proof that the money is going to the right person.

JazzCash wallets are held by Mobilink Microfinance Bank, which is the name you may see in older bank lists. Easypaisa wallets are held by easypaisa Bank, previously called Telenor Microfinance Bank. If one name is missing, look for the other.

Six steps work in HBL, Meezan, UBL and most bank apps

Every big bank app has a "transfer to other bank" or IBFT option. Add a new beneficiary, select the wallet as the bank, enter the mobile number, confirm the title it fetches, enter the amount and approve with your OTP or PIN. Save the beneficiary for next time.

  1. Open your bank's app and go to Funds Transfer or Send Money.
  2. Choose Other Bank or IBFT and add a new beneficiary.
  3. Select JazzCash, Mobilink Microfinance Bank, Easypaisa or easypaisa Bank from the list.
  4. Enter the receiver's mobile number in the account number field.
  5. Check that the title shown is the person you mean.
  6. Enter the amount and approve with your OTP, PIN or fingerprint.

Menu names vary from bank to bank, and we did not log in to each app. The pattern is the same everywhere because the transfer runs on the same 1LINK network. Save the wallet as a beneficiary once, and the next transfer takes three taps.

Raast is the shortcut when the wallet holder has a Raast ID

Choose Raast in your bank app, enter the receiver's mobile number as the Raast ID, check the name, enter the amount and approve. This only works if the receiver linked that number to their wallet. A Raast ID points to one account, so it may land in their bank instead.

Wallets can hold a Raast ID just like banks, and Easypaisa's FAQ has a section on linking one to an Easypaisa account. Ask the receiver which account their ID points to before a large transfer. If they have not linked one, IBFT with the mobile number always works. The full setup is in our page on creating a Raast ID for a mobile number.

Receiving is free; sending follows your bank's monthly allowance

JazzCash's schedule lists IBFT into a wallet at zero, and Easypaisa's lists funds transfer in from other banks as free. Your bank charges the sender side. Most large banks give Rs 25,000 a month free, then 0.1 per cent or Rs 200, whichever is lower.

The bank row comes from our reading of the HBL, MCB, UBL, Allied, Bank Alfalah, Bank AL Habib and Meezan schedules, set out in our page on IBFT charges at Pakistani banks. That reading found UBL applies the same rule to Raast, so Raast is not always free from a bank. Check your own bank's schedule.

Watch the receiver's limit. A wallet that has not been upgraded with biometrics has low receiving caps, and a large transfer will bounce back to your bank. JazzCash's own table gives a basic Level 1 account Rs 100,000 of daily credit and Rs 300,000 a month.

When the title does not load or the transfer fails

A missing title usually means the wrong wallet was selected, the mobile number has a typo, or the person has no wallet on that number. Check each. If money left your bank but did not arrive, complain to your bank first, because the sending institution starts the trace.

  • Title not found: try the other name for the wallet's bank, then check the number.
  • Transfer rejected: the receiver may have hit a daily or monthly credit limit.
  • Money deducted, not received: call your bank with the transaction reference.
  • Wrong number: call your bank at once, then follow our steps for a transfer to the wrong JazzCash or Easypaisa number.

No bank or wallet will ask for your OTP on a call to "reverse" a payment. Anyone who does is running a scam.

Common questions

What is the bank name for JazzCash in a bank app?

It may show as JazzCash or as Mobilink Microfinance Bank, the bank that holds JazzCash accounts. Use the receiver's mobile number as the account number.

What is the bank name for Easypaisa in a bank app?

It may show as Easypaisa, easypaisa Bank or Telenor Microfinance Bank, its former name. The account number is the receiver's Easypaisa mobile number.

Is there a charge to receive money in JazzCash from a bank?

No. JazzCash's October to December 2026 schedule lists IBFT into the wallet at zero. Your bank may charge you for sending once you pass its free monthly allowance.

How long does a bank to JazzCash transfer take?

IBFT and Raast are both built to be instant. If the money has not arrived within a few hours and has not returned to your bank, call your bank with the transaction reference.

Can I send money to Easypaisa using its IBAN?

Yes. The holder can copy the 24-character IBAN from Account Information in the Easypaisa app, and most bank apps accept an IBAN in the account field.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the JazzCash schedule of charges for 1 October to 31 December 2026 and JazzCash's terms, the Easypaisa FAQ and Easypaisa's October to December 2026 schedule, and the UPaisa FAQ and fourth quarter schedule, on 31 October 2026. The bank-side fees come from our 7 October 2026 reading of seven bank schedules. We did not log in to any bank app, so menu names and the exact list labels are not confirmed.
