You can apply for a duplicate DMC or certificate from the Balochistan Board online at oap.bbise.edu.pk. Generate a challan, pay it at the bank, then fill the online form with your challan number and CNIC photos. The board says you should not post a hard copy.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Quetta, usually called BBISE or the Balochistan Board, handles matric (SSC) and intermediate (HSSC) records for the province. A lost result card or certificate is a common problem. It turns urgent the week a job form, a university admission or a passport file asks for the original.

We opened the board's online application portal on 3 October 2026 and went through the challan and application screens for each service. We also read the board's service pages, its duplicate DMC form and the BBISE Rules, 2026. We did not submit an application or pay a fee, so we cannot tell you the fee from our own test.

Duplicate DMC, certificate and verification are all online

The BBISE online portal handles six services: duplicate DMC, original or duplicate certificate, DMC verification, certificate verification, migration and recounting. Each one works the same way. You make a challan, pay it, and then apply online with the challan details.

A DMC is the Detailed Marks Certificate, the result card that lists your marks in each subject. The certificate, or sanad, is the separate pass certificate. Many offices ask for both, so check which one you have actually lost before you pay.

The original certificate option is split into "before 2 years" and "after 2 years" from the exam. That split appears in the challan menu, which suggests the fee changes with time. The board does not explain it on the service page.

One thing the portal will not give you is an equivalence certificate. Rule 255 leaves those to the Inter Board Coordination Commission, which issues the IBCC equivalence certificate for O and A level and foreign results.

Apply for a duplicate DMC online in five steps

Open the Duplicate DMC section of oap.bbise.edu.pk, generate a challan with your roll number and exam year, and pay it. Then fill the five-step online form, upload both sides of your CNIC and the paid challan, and note the ticket number it gives you.

  1. Generate the challan. Choose Duplicate DMC (SSC) for matric or (HSSC) for intermediate. Enter your name, father's name, roll number, exam year, session and mobile number. The session is Annual, Second Annual (Bi-Annual), or Special Annual, which is only for 2020.
  2. Pay the challan at the bank. Keep the paid copy. You will type its number, amount and date into the form.
  3. Fill your board record. Pick SSC or HSSC, Part I or Part II, year, session, roll number and registration number.
  4. Add your details and uploads. Enter your name, father's name, email, mobile number, CNIC, gender and whether you were regular or private. Upload the front and back of your CNIC and a picture of the paid challan.
  5. Check and submit. The last screen asks you to verify every entry and warns that the board is not responsible for wrong data. After you submit, it shows a ticket number for tracking.

The portal's own note is blunt: your form is processed only after the fee is verified, so the bank challan number must be written correctly. One wrong digit there is the easiest way to lose a week. The duplicate certificate and verification sections use the same challan, apply and check status pattern.

Documents to keep ready before you start

Keep your roll number, exam year, registration number, CNIC or B-Form and a paid challan ready. The board's duplicate certificate page also mentions an FIR or affidavit "if required", so a damaged or lost original may need one. Rule 248 adds one photograph.

  • Roll number and year. If you have lost every paper, your old school or college can usually find it in its records. The online result pages also need it, as with the Balochistan Board 12th result.
  • CNIC or B-Form. The rules accept your own CNIC or B-Form, or your father's or husband's CNIC. If your CNIC is lost as well, sort that out first, because the online form cannot be sent without it.
  • A clear photo of both CNIC sides. The online form asks for front and back as separate uploads.
  • The paid challan. Its number, amount and payment date go into the form.
  • FIR or affidavit, if asked. The service page lists it as "if required". It is always required for a triplicate or quadruplicate certificate.
Documents needed for a BBISE duplicate DMC or certificate application

Living abroad? Rule 248(2) says you send the form, photo and copies of your and your father's CNIC and passport, attested by an officer at a Pakistani embassy or consulate.

The fee is set by the board and not published on its pages

BBISE does not print the duplicate DMC or certificate fee on its service pages. Each page says only "as notified by BBISE", and the Rules leave the rates to the board. The online challan shows the amount once you enter your details.

Older fee lists shared online put a duplicate certificate or verification at Rs 300, or Rs 600 for a same-day "fast track" service. Treat those figures as reported only. We could not find them on any BBISE page or notification, and we did not generate a live challan.

Two rules about money matter more than the amount. Under rule 257, a fee paid into the board account is never refunded. And under rule 250, if your application is returned as incomplete, you have 90 days to send it back, or the fee is forfeited.

Paper forms, delivery and tracking your application

If you cannot apply online, the Forms page has a Duplicate DMC form and a Certificate (Sanad) form to print and submit at the board on Samungli Road, Quetta. Certificates normally come by registered post. You can track an application on the board's tracking page.

The paper duplicate DMC form is in Urdu. It asks for your name, father's name, roll number, regular or private status, exam and year, session, group, marks, institution, a full postal address for registered post, and your bank challan number and date. It has a box for a photo.

The paper form also has a certificate for the head of your school or college to sign, or an attesting officer for private candidates. Rule 248(1), though, says no attestation of the application form is required. The two disagree. If you go the paper route, getting the signature costs little and removes one reason for the form to come back.

On delivery, rule 251 says the certificate is ordinarily sent by registered post. You, or a nominee with an authority letter on judicial stamp paper, preferably a blood relative, can collect it instead. A triplicate or quadruplicate certificate is handed over only in person, after a thumb impression.

The word "duplicate" is not printed on the new certificate. Rule 247 says it goes in the remarks place instead. To check progress, use the ticket number from the online form on the portal's Check Status page, or the tracking number on bbise.edu.pk/Track.

BBISE Rules 2026 on refunds, returned forms, delivery and triplicate certificates

If the original carries a mistake made by the board, such as a wrong name spelling, you do not pay. Rule 256 lets you apply for a corrected certificate free, with an affidavit attested by a Magistrate First Class. Once you have the new document, the next step for a job abroad is often IBCC attestation of matric and inter certificates.

Common questions

Can I apply for a BBISE duplicate DMC online?

Yes. Use the Duplicate DMC section of oap.bbise.edu.pk. Generate a challan, pay it, then submit the online form with your CNIC photos and challan details. The board says you do not need to post a hard copy.

What is the fee for a duplicate certificate from the Balochistan Board?

BBISE does not publish it on its service pages. The amount appears on the challan you generate online. Older lists report Rs 300, or Rs 600 for fast track, but we could not confirm those on any board page.

Do I need an FIR for a lost BBISE certificate?

Sometimes. The duplicate certificate page lists an FIR or affidavit "if required". For a triplicate or quadruplicate certificate, rule 249 always requires an affidavit.

How do I check my BBISE application status?

Use the ticket number from the online form on the portal's Check Status page. Paper applications can be followed with a tracking number on the board's Track page.

Can someone else collect my certificate in Quetta?

Yes, with an authority letter on judicial stamp paper. Rule 251 says the nominee should preferably be a blood relative. Triplicate and quadruplicate certificates are given only to you, in person.

Will the new certificate say duplicate on it?

No. Rule 247 says the words duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicate are not printed on the certificate. The status is noted in the remarks place.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 3 October 2026. The six online services, the challan options, the session choices, the five-step application with CNIC and challan uploads, the ticket number and the instruction not to send a hard copy are read on the BBISE online application portal, oap.bbise.edu.pk. The requirements for a duplicate certificate, including an FIR or affidavit if required, and "fee as notified by BBISE" are read on the board's duplicate certificate service page at bbise.edu.pk. The paper duplicate DMC form is read on the board's Forms page. Rules 247 to 257 on certificate types, documents, overseas applicants, the 90-day resubmission limit, delivery, free correction of board errors and non-refundable fees are read in the BBISE Rules, 2026, notified under section 23 of the Balochistan Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 2019. The Rs 300 and Rs 600 figures are reported only and were not found on any board page. We did not pay a fee or submit an application.
