The Balochistan Board in Quetta will take exam forms for the HSSC (intermediate) Annual Examination 2027 from 15 October 2026, with the single fee open until 13 November 2026. The fee for Part I or Part II alone is Rs 3,300. For both parts together it is Rs 4,300. After 13 November the fee doubles, then triples from 5 December. The board has not yet announced when the exam starts.

We read the notification, No. 32-44/HSSC/EXAM dated 8 October 2026, on the website of the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Quetta, on 10 October 2026. It is signed by the Controller of Examinations, Dr Zia Ul Haq Kakar. It covers regular and private students, plus those retaking failed papers or improving marks.

The single fee window runs from 15 October to 13 November 2026

BBISE Quetta accepts HSSC Annual 2027 exam forms with the single fee from 15 October to 13 November 2026. The double fee applies from 14 November to 4 December, and the triple fee from 5 to 11 December. After that, Rs 100 a day is added until 20 days before the exam.

Six groups of students can sit the HSSC Annual 2027 exam

The HSSC Annual 2027 exam is open to regular Part I and Part II students, private fresh candidates, 12th class students who failed papers, passed students improving marks or adding subjects, and those allowed by the IBCC for selected subjects.

  • Regular HSSC Part I and Part II students, including Part I failures and Part I improvement with Part II
  • Private fresh candidates for Part I and Part II

  • 12th class passed students improving marks
  • 12th class passed students adding subjects
  • Candidates the IBCC has allowed to sit selected subjects

Improvement of marks is open only to those who passed the Annual Examination 2023 or later. If you add a subject with a practical, you need a practical attendance certificate from a board affiliated institution, with the teacher's name and your practical marks.

Students waiting on the 2nd Annual 2026 result should not apply yet

If you are an 11th class student who failed or is improving, and you already sent forms for the HSSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026, do not send fresh forms now. The board says it will accept those only after the 2nd Annual result, and will issue a separate notice for them. Once that result is out, you can check your HSSC result by roll number before deciding what to sit in 2027.

The board posted roll number slips for the HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 exam on 8 October. That exam is for students who failed papers or want better marks after the Balochistan Board 12th result 2026, which showed a 91.5 per cent pass rate.
