An alarm clock and a cup on a dark wooden table, for BISE Gujranwala Class 11 registration extended

Short answer: BISE Gujranwala has extended Class 11 registration for the 2026 to 2028 session. The single fee deadline is now Monday 12 October 2026, today. A late fee of Rs 600 per candidate applies from 13 to 27 October. After 27 October, the board will not allow any registration into Class 11.

A college clerk in Sialkot or Gujrat has a list of first year students on the desk and a bank slip that has not been deposited yet. The old date came and went. The board's letter of 10 October gave one more day at the normal fee and two more weeks at the late fee. Here is exactly what the letter says.

We read the board's notice, letter No. 472 dated 10 October 2026, on the BISE Gujranwala website. It is written in Urdu and addressed to heads of government and private institutions under the Gujranwala board.

The single fee deadline is 12 October 2026

The notice says online registration for Class 11 at the single fee, with no late fee, runs from 21 August to 12 October 2026. Institutions must submit student data online and send the printed list with the paid challan before this date to avoid the late fee.

This extension follows a decision of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen, the body where Punjab's board chairmen agree common schedules. Gujranwala cites the committee's notification of 9 October 2026 and its own earlier schedule issued on 20 August 2026. Only the dates have changed in the letter we read.

StageDatesCost per candidate
Single fee, no late fee21 August to 12 October 2026Rs 2,050
Late fee stage13 to 27 October 2026Rs 2,050 plus Rs 600
After 27 OctoberNo registration allowedNot applicable

A late fee of Rs 600 applies from 13 to 27 October

From 13 October the board charges Rs 600 extra for each candidate. The notice sets 27 October as the last date with this late fee. Institutions must still deposit the full fee and send the paperwork before that date.

The notice says registration and admission into Class 11 will not be allowed at all after 27 October 2026. It also says the online registration facility on the board website stays active until then. A student missed by the college after that date has no route to register, so the college should not leave it to the last day.

Rs 600 late fee per candidate for BISE Gujranwala Class 11 registration from 13 to 27 October 2026

The total registration fee is Rs 2,050

The letter prices registration at Rs 2,050 per candidate. It breaks the amount into five heads: registration fee, processing fee, sports fee, scholarship fee and development fund. The total is what matters at the bank, because the challan is generated for the full sum.

Fees are not the same across boards. Our report on BISE Lahore's Class 11 registration extension gives Rs 2,300 per student, and the one on BISE Rawalpindi's Class 11 registration gives Rs 2,950. Pay the fee your own board states, not one from another city.

BoardNormal fee untilFee per student
BISE Gujranwala12 October 2026Rs 2,050
BISE Lahore12 October 2026Rs 2,300
BISE Rawalpindi12 October 2026Rs 2,950

Colleges that paid the late fee on 5 October can ask for a refund

The notice gives one relief. Institutions that registered candidates with the late fee on 5 October 2026 can ask the board to return the late fee. They do this through the refund form on the board's website.

This applies to institutions, not to individual students. A parent should ask the college office whether it paid a late fee for their child on that date and whether it has filed the refund form. The form is the only route the notice names.

What students and colleges should do now

Check that your name is on the college's registration list and that the college has submitted it. Do this today if you can, since the normal fee ends today. If your college misses it, the Rs 600 late fee is the next step, and the notice lasts until 27 October.

  1. Ask your college office whether Class 11 registration has been submitted for you.
  2. Check that your name, father's name and date of birth match your matric certificate.
  3. Give the college a recent photograph if it asks, so the data is complete.
  4. Ask for a copy of the paid challan and keep it.
  5. If you are choosing a group, read how to choose FSc, ICS or DAE before the college submits.
