The board's rules decide what happens on exam day

The date sheet carries firm rules, and two of them catch students out. Any general or local holiday will not change the schedule, so a surprise closure does not move your paper. A mobile phone in the exam centre is taken away, and the board says the student is handed to the police.

  1. Bring your roll number slip to every paper. You will not be allowed in without it.
  2. Sit only in the group and centre written on your slip.
  3. Check the dates on your slip against this sheet before the first paper.
  4. Use only a scientific calculator, where a calculator is needed.
  5. Do not use a remover, correction fluid or lead pencil in the answer copy or practical copy.
  6. Write your roll number only in the marked place on the title page.

If your roll number slip is marked provisional, clear it with the board once the exam ends. The date sheet warns that your result can be cancelled if a defect in your eligibility is found later. The Controller of Examinations' office is on 055-9200746 and 055-9200747. Charges for rechecking and other services are in the list of revised BISE Gujranwala fees.

Class 11 students with a separate registration issue should also check the Class 11 biometric date of 30 November. The holiday itself was confirmed by the Cabinet Division for 9 November.
