BISE Rawalpindi Inter 2nd Annual practical exams run from Tuesday 1 December to Tuesday 22 December 2026. Physics and Psychology start on 2 December, Chemistry and Statistics on 8 December, and Biology and Computer Science on 14 December. Your exact day depends on the practical group number printed on your roll number slip.

Each science block lasts five working days, with two groups a day: one at 9:00 am and one at 1:00 pm. On Fridays the afternoon group starts at 2:30 pm instead.

We read the practical schedule on page 2 of the board's revised date sheet for the Intermediate 2nd Annual Examination 2026, posted on biserawalpindi.edu.pk on 4 November. The theory papers end on 28 November, as our report on the BISE Rawalpindi revised date sheet explains.

Find your practical day from your group number

Find the subject block first, then your group number on the roll number slip. Groups 1 and 2 go on the first day of the block, groups 3 and 4 on the second, and so on to groups 9 and 10 on the fifth day. Odd groups sit in the morning, even groups in the afternoon.

Not every subject has all 10 groups. The sheet gives Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science 10 groups each. Psychology, Health and Physical Education, Statistics and Biology have 8. Outlines of Home Economics and Geography have 6. If your subject has fewer groups, your block simply ends earlier.

How to prepare for practical day

The board's instructions on the date sheet say candidates must attend their practical lab on the schedule printed on their roll number slip. Section 144 applies at practical labs as well as theory centres, so only candidates may enter.

  1. Check your roll number slip for the practical subject, group number and lab.
  2. Match the group to the table above to find your date and sitting.
  3. Reach the lab before your sitting: 9:00 am for odd groups, 1:00 pm for even groups, 2:30 pm on Fridays.
  4. Bring your roll number slip, plus your practical notebook if your college has told you to bring it.
  5. If the slip shows a different date from this sheet, ask your college or the board before the day, not on it.

The Friday afternoon start of 2:30 pm affects groups 6 in Physics, 8 in Chemistry and 10 in Biology and Computer Science. Those students should not arrive at 1:00 pm and assume they are late.

A practical is part of the subject's total. Missing it can mean failing the subject even after a good theory paper. If your college changed after you applied, or your slip is wrong, use the BISE Rawalpindi online services or contact the board early.

What comes after the practicals

The practicals end on 22 December 2026, and results come later. The board's date sheet does not give a result date. For students who failed a paper in the first annual exam, our guide on failed papers in the Punjab HSSC second annual explains how the marks combine.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 5 November 2026. We read page 2 of the BISE Rawalpindi revised date sheet for the Intermediate 2nd Annual Examination 2026, the practical date sheet signed by the Controller of Examinations. The practical notebook advice is general guidance from us, not a board rule.
