BISP's South Zone office in Multan is at House No. 25, Gulshan e Meher Colony, Bosan Road, phone 061-6223388, and the Multan City tehsil office is near Mehmood Kot Metro Station on the same road, phone 061-6224200. Multan has three more BISP offices, and the rest of south Punjab has 41, from Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan to DG Khan and Layyah. All of them are listed below.

South Punjab holds a large share of BISP's families, and the offices there see long queues when a new payment round or SIM drive starts. We read BISP's regional office list on 24 October 2026 and copied the South Zone rows, leaving out officers' names.

Multan has a zonal office and four tehsil offices on BISP's list

BISP lists five offices in Multan district: the South Zone office, Multan City, Multan Saddar, Shujabad and Jalalpur Pirwala. Four have a phone number. Multan Saddar's row is blank, with no number and no address.

For Multan Saddar, go to the Multan City office or call the helpline 0800-26477 and ask where Saddar cases are taken. The zonal office runs all of south Punjab, so it is a fallback for a problem the tehsil office could not fix.

A few rows share details. Bahawalpur's district, city and saddar offices sit at the same house on Muhammad Hussain Shaheen Road. Mian Channu and Kabirwala show the same number, 065-2660777, and so do Chaubara and Jampur, 0606-440090, which looks like a copying slip on BISP's page. If one of those numbers reaches the wrong office, ask to be put through.

The tehsil office handles surveys, complaints, SIMs and death cases

BISP says every tehsil office houses a Benazir registration centre, takes complaints, and receives next of kin papers when a beneficiary dies. Since mid 2026 it also hands out the free Benazir SIM used for the digital wallet.

  • Survey. If 8171 says you are not eligible, the tehsil office is where a fresh survey happens. BISP says no form is needed.
  • Complaint. Missing payment, a blocked wallet or a deduction by an agent. You can also call 0800-26477.
  • Benazir SIM. Free, and only from the designated BISP office, BISP said on 25 August 2026.
  • Next of kin. When a beneficiary dies, her family brings the papers so that BISP Kafaalat passes to the next of kin.
  • Hunarmand training. One family member with at least matric can register for BISP's skills programme online or at the nearest tehsil office.

Take the original CNIC, the registered phone and the 8171 reply

BISP does not ask for a form or a fee. The woman named on the record should go in person, with her original CNIC and the phone on which she gets BISP messages, because staff may need a biometric check.

  1. Check your record on the 8171 web portal and screenshot or write down the reply.
  2. Find your tehsil office in the tables and phone ahead where a number is listed.
  3. Take the original CNIC and the phone with the SIM BISP knows.
  4. For a death case, add the deceased's CNIC, NADRA's cancellation certificate, the death certificate and the family's CNICs.
  5. Leave with a complaint number or written note of what was done.
Steps before a visit to a BISP office in south Punjab

Anyone charging money near a BISP office is breaking BISP's rules

BISP's chairperson said on 25 August 2026 that BISP charges no fee for any scheme, service or survey, that the SIM is free, and that women must never hand their phone or SIM to an agent. Report any demand for money.

The same release asked beneficiaries to keep the SMS that confirms each credit. That message is the proof you need if a retailer cuts your BISP payment. Since June 2026 any partner bank's agent can pay you, so walk away from an agent who asks for a cut.

Use the helpline when an office number goes unanswered

We did not ring these numbers, and a listed landline is no promise of an answer. The toll free BISP helpline is 0800-26477, and complaints can also go through the Citizen Portal.

Punjab's provincial schemes are separate from BISP. The Punjab Himmat Card for disabled persons and Punjab Zakat assistance are run by provincial departments, so the BISP office cannot process them.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read BISP's Regional Offices Contact Numbers page on 24 October 2026 and copied the South Zone Punjab rows as published, adding a missing leading zero to the Lodhran numbers and fixing small spelling slips. We also read BISP's Kafaalat page, its press releases of 18 June, 30 June and 25 August 2026, the September 2026 newsletter and the 8171 portal the same day. BISP's list carries no date and no office hours, and we did not call the numbers, so check by phone or helpline before a long trip.
