BPSC Lecturer Result 4 November 2026: 204 Candidates Qualify for Viva in Balochistan
BPSC declared 204 candidates qualified for viva voce for Lecturer BS-17 posts on 4 November 2026. See all 8 lists, the 15 day document deadline and recounts.

The Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared 204 candidates qualified for the viva voce (interview) for Lecturer BS-17 posts in 5 subjects. The press release is dated 4 November 2026. It covers the written tests BPSC held on 16, 17, 18 and 19 June and 12 August 2026 for the Colleges, Higher and Technical Education Department.
Qualified candidates now have 15 days to post their application form and verified documents to BPSC. Candidates who did not qualify have one month to ask for their marks certificate (DMC) or a recount. We read the 6 page press release on bpsc.gob.pk on 5 November and counted every list.
BPSC passed 204 candidates in 8 Lecturer lists
The result has 8 separate lists, one for each subject and section. Sociology has the most qualifiers, with 75 across the men's and women's sections. Home Economics has the fewest, with 6.
| Post (BS-17) | Section | Qualified for viva |
|---|---|---|
| Lecturer Sociology (Male) | Men's, Collegiate Branch | 51 |

| Lecturer English, Related Studies (Male) | Men's, Technical Wing | 17 |
| Lecturer Home Economics (Female) | Women's, Collegiate Branch | 6 |
| Total | 204 |
The press release does not say how many candidates sat each test or how many posts each subject has. So we cannot give a pass rate. The posts were advertised under BPSC Advertisement No. 01/2026.

Qualifying is provisional until the document check
BPSC says every candidate was allowed to sit the test provisionally. Only those found fully eligible at the time of interview will be interviewed. Eligibility is judged strictly against the advertisement and the service rules.
In plain words: a name on this list is not a seat at the interview yet. If your degree, age or domicile does not meet the advertisement, BPSC can still drop you. Our guides on BPSC degree rules and the BPSC age rule explain the most common reasons.
Send your documents by post within 15 days
Note I of the press release tells qualified candidates to send their application form with all the verified documents listed in Advertisement No. 01/2026. It must go to BPSC through postal services within 15 days of the press release. Incomplete forms and unverified documents "will be rejected straightaway".
Counting 15 days from 4 November 2026 gives 19 November 2026. BPSC does not print a calendar date, so post well before that and keep the courier receipt.
- Find your roll number in the right list. Check the subject and the section (men's or women's).
- Print the application form and fill it the same way as your online form.
- Collect the documents listed in Advertisement No. 01/2026, with attested copies.
- Send everything by post or courier to BPSC, Samungli Road, Quetta Cantt.
- Keep the receipt and wait for the viva voce date on bpsc.gob.pk.

Unsuccessful candidates have one month for a DMC or recount
Note II says candidates who did not qualify can ask BPSC for their DMC or a recounting of their paper within one month of the press release. No request will be heard after that. One month from 4 November 2026 is 4 December 2026.
| Who | What to do | Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| Qualified candidates | Post application form and verified documents | 15 days from 4 November 2026 |
| Unsuccessful candidates | Ask for DMC or recounting | One month from 4 November 2026 |
| All qualified candidates | Wait for viva voce date | BPSC will notify later |
The viva voce date is not out yet
BPSC says the date and time of the viva voce "will be notified in due course of time". It has not published an interview schedule for these posts yet. BPSC posts interview schedules as press releases under Interview on its website.
Use the wait well. Your document set should be in the post first. Then prepare for the viva voce itself: revise your subject, and be ready to explain your degree, your teaching experience if any, and why you want to teach in a Balochistan college.
BPSC also published a separate MCQ result on 3 November for Health Management Cadre and Electric Inspector of Mines posts. For BPSC's other open posts, see Advertisement 09/2026 with 250 posts.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the BPSC Result page and the press release No. PSC-2026/E-Result/2309-14 dated 4 November 2026 on bpsc.gob.pk on 5 November 2026. The PDF is a scan, so we read it page by page and counted the names in each list. We have not printed candidates' names. The 19 November and 4 December dates are our own count from BPSC's "15 days" and "one month" wording.
