Short answer: To cancel or change a Fly Jinnah flight, use "Modify Flight" or "Cancel Flight" on its website, or call its contact centre. On a domestic Value fare you can cancel up to 12 hours before departure. A cash refund has a Rs 12,000 fee, and credit starts at Rs 4,500. A Basic fare has no cash refund at all.

The deadline on your fare is a number of hours, and it is short. Miss it by one hour and the ticket is forfeited. If you are not flying, decide today, not on the way to the airport.

We read Fly Jinnah's modification and cancellation page, its cancel flight page and its fare types page on 12 October 2026. The fees below are the ones it publishes for domestic flights, with the Gulf fees in AED further down. Fly Jinnah says fees are subject to change.

Your fare type sets the deadline and the fee

On domestic flights, Basic can be changed or cancelled up to 24 hours before departure, Value up to 12 hours, and Ultimate up to 6 hours. After the cut-off, the booking cannot be modified, and no refund is possible.

Domestic fareChangeCredit refundCash refund
BasicOnce, from Rs 4,500, up to 24 hoursFrom Rs 5,500, up to 24 hoursNot permitted
ValueOnce, no fee, up to 12 hoursFrom Rs 4,500, up to 12 hoursRs 12,000 fee, up to 12 hours
UltimateTwice, no fee, up to 6 hoursUp to 6 hoursRs 7,000 fee, up to 6 hours

A fare difference applies when you change to a flight that costs more. "No fee" on Value and Ultimate means there is no modification charge, not that the new flight is free.

Credit and cash refunds are different things

Credit is a Fly Jinnah travel balance for a future flight by the same passenger. A cash refund returns money to your original payment method, and it costs more on Value and Ultimate. Basic has credit only.

Fly Jinnah cash refund fee on each domestic fare

Fly Jinnah says the credit must be used within one year. The fare page counts the year from the date of payment, while the cancel page counts it from the original booking. If you hold credit, use the earlier date to be safe.

For Basic fares on international flights, there is no refund policy once the booking is paid. The remaining amount is kept as credit for one year, for the same passenger only.

A no-show loses the ticket

If you do not turn up and have not cancelled, the ticket is forfeited and only government taxes can be claimed. That is the rule for every fare in the table above.

Fly Jinnah does not say how to claim the taxes. Ask the contact centre or a sales office, and keep your PNR (the booking reference) ready.

Some bookings cannot be changed online

Promotional, free or gifted tickets are not eligible for modifications, and a booking on a special fare can only be cancelled through customer support or the travel agent who made it. Group bookings carry their own charges.

If the online option does not appear, the usual cause is a missed cut-off or a special fare. Check the hour first, then contact support. If you bought through an agent, the agent is the one to ask.

A return booking can have one leg cancelled, subject to the fare rules and fees.

What to do when you need to cancel

Find your fare type and the cut-off, cancel online with the PNR and the contact person's last name, and choose credit or cash. Keep the confirmation message. If the site does not allow it, call the contact centre before the cut-off passes.

  1. Open your booking confirmation and note the fare type and the departure time.
  2. Count the hours left against the cut-off for your fare.
  3. Open Cancel Flight, and enter the PNR, the last name and the departure date.
  4. Choose credit or a refund to your original payment method, and read the fee shown.
  5. Save the confirmation. If the form fails, contact support before the cut-off.
Five steps to cancel a Fly Jinnah flight and choose credit or a cash refund

The Gulf routes have their own fees

On international flights, the published fees are in AED. Basic can be changed once for a minimum of AED 200. Value cancels up to 24 hours before departure for AED 100 as credit or AED 300 as cash. Ultimate cancels up to 8 hours before for AED 200 as cash.

Two of Fly Jinnah's own pages differ on the cut-off. The cancel flight page lists Value at 24 hours and Ultimate at 8 hours, which matches the international table, while the domestic table shows 12 and 6. That cancel page also mentions another airline's credit by name in one answer, which looks like shared text. Follow the fare table for your route and ask the contact centre if the figures do not match your booking.

If the airline cancels or delays your flight instead, the rules are different, and our page on flight delay and cancellation compensation in Pakistan sets them out. For the bag and seat side of the fare, see what each Fly Jinnah fare includes.

Common questions

No. Cash refunds are not permitted on a Basic fare. The money can come back only as credit, and on domestic flights the minimum charge is Rs 5,500.

How long is Fly Jinnah credit valid?

One year. Use it for the same passenger, and count the year from the date you paid to be safe.

What if I miss the cancellation cut-off?

The ticket is forfeited as a no-show. Only government taxes can be claimed.

Can I change my flight date for free?

On Value and Ultimate there is no modification fee, up to the cut-off, but a fare difference applies. Basic has a minimum charge of Rs 4,500.

Can I cancel only one leg of a return ticket?

Yes. Fly Jinnah allows one segment of a return booking to be cancelled, subject to the fare type and fees.

Who do I contact if the online form does not work?

Use the contact centre, a sales office, or the travel agent who booked it. Special fares can only be cancelled through support or the agent.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read Fly Jinnah's modification and cancellation page, its cancel flight page and its fare types page on 12 October 2026. We did not make a booking or test the cancel form. Fly Jinnah says its fees are subject to change.
