Fly Jinnah Fare Types in Pakistan: Basic, Value and Ultimate Compared
Fly Jinnah sells Basic, Value and Ultimate fares on Pakistan domestic flights. Compare bags, meals, seats and change rules before you book your ticket.

Short answer: Fly Jinnah sells three fares on its Pakistan domestic routes. Basic carries only a 7 kg cabin bag. Value adds a 23 kg checked bag, a sandwich and a free seat from row 8. Ultimate adds two bags up to 46 kg, a hot meal, any seat from row 2 and priority check-in. Pick the fare before you pay, because the checked bag costs more later.
Two passengers book the same Lahore to Karachi flight. One pays the lowest fare and finds at the airport that a suitcase is not included. The other pays a little more and has a bag, a seat and a meal. The flight is the same. The fare type decides the rest.
We read Fly Jinnah's fare types page and its baggage and check-in pages on 12 October 2026. Fly Jinnah flies domestic between Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, and it also flies to the Gulf. This page covers what each fare includes. For the cost of changing or cancelling, see our page on how to cancel or change a Fly Jinnah flight.
Basic includes a cabin bag and nothing else
The Basic fare on domestic flights includes a 7 kg hand bag plus a 3 kg personal item. Checked baggage, a meal, a seat choice and priority check-in are all chargeable extras. It is the cheapest ticket, and the most rigid.
Basic also has the strictest change rules. A rebooking costs a minimum of Rs 4,500 and is allowed only up to 24 hours before departure. Cash refunds are not permitted. A cancellation returns money only as credit, with a minimum charge of Rs 5,500.
Basic suits one person with one small bag who is sure of the date.

Value adds a 23 kg bag, a sandwich and a free seat
Value includes the 7 kg hand bag, one checked bag of 23 kg, a sandwich with water, and a free seat from row 8 onwards. It allows one modification up to 12 hours before departure, without a modification fee, though a fare difference applies.
It is the middle choice. If you will check a bag anyway, price Basic with the bag added and compare it with Value before you decide.
Value also lets you take a cash refund to your original payment method, for a fee of Rs 12,000 on domestic flights, up to 12 hours before departure.
Ultimate adds two bags, a hot meal and priority check-in
Ultimate includes the 7 kg hand bag, two checked bags up to 46 kg in total, a hot meal with water, and any seat from row 2 onwards. It allows two modifications up to 6 hours before departure, and priority check-in is included.
A cash refund costs Rs 7,000 on domestic flights, which is cheaper than the Value cash refund. The domestic table lists no fee for credit on Ultimate, only a time limit.
| Item, domestic flights | Basic | Value | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hand baggage | 7 kg + 3 kg item | 7 kg + 3 kg item | 7 kg + 3 kg item |
| Checked baggage | Chargeable | 23 kg, 1 piece | 46 kg, 2 pieces |
| Meal | Chargeable | Sandwich and water | Hot meal and water |
| Seat | Chargeable | Free, row 8 onwards | Any, row 2 onwards |
| Changes | 1, from Rs 4,500 | 1, up to 12 hours | 2, up to 6 hours |
| Cash refund | Not permitted | Rs 12,000 fee | Rs 7,000 fee |

Bag rules are the same for every fare
Fly Jinnah says the hand baggage limit is 7 kg plus a 3 kg personal item in total, and that includes a laptop bag and duty-free purchases. A hand bag over 7 kg must be checked in, with excess baggage fees charged per kilogram.
An infant under two years may carry one extra standard hand bag up to 3 kg for the infant's needs. It is a bag allowance, not a seat.
To see how this allowance sits against other carriers, the domestic baggage allowance across five airlines sets them side by side, and AirSial booking, baggage and refunds covers one of them in full.
How to choose the right fare
Count your bags, check how late you may need to change the date, and compare the total cost of extras against the fare gap. If you will check a bag and want a seat, Value usually costs less than Basic with extras added.
- Decide how many checked bags you will carry and their weight.
- Decide if a seat in the front rows or a meal matters to you.
- Ask how likely you are to change the date, and how close to departure.
- On the booking page, price Basic with extras and compare it with Value.
- If you book through an agent, ask for the fare bundle by name, as Fly Jinnah advises.

Check-in timing is the same for all fares. For domestic flights, counters open 2 hours before departure and close 45 minutes before. Online check-in gives you a boarding pass from home, though some airports are not enabled.
