CBD Punjab's Youth Career Program 2026 is a paid internship of up to three months for fresh graduates aged 25 or under, with 16 years of education and a CGPA of at least 3.0. The last date to apply is 12 October 2026. You apply online through the Apply Now button on cbdpunjab.gov.pk/ycp2026.

CBD Punjab is the short name of the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA). It is the Punjab government body building the business district on the old Walton Airport land in Lahore, and projects such as Nawaz Sharif IT City.

We read the program page on CBD Punjab's own website on 28 September 2026. One correction for anyone searching: the official site is cbdpunjab.gov.pk. The address cbdpunjab.gop.pk, which some people are sharing, does not exist.

The Youth Career Program is a paid internship of up to three months

CBD Punjab calls the Youth Career Program an internship for young professionals who want practical work experience. The page lists the program type as "Paid Internship" and the duration as "Up to 3 Months". It does not publish the stipend amount.

The page says interns will gain workplace exposure, learn from experienced staff and build professional skills. That is standard language. What matters more is that the internship is paid and sits inside a working development authority, not a classroom.

The missing stipend figure is worth a note. We searched CBD Punjab's site and could not find it. Ask at the interview stage, and do not trust a figure you see on a jobs page unless CBD Punjab confirms it.

CBD Punjab takes interns in nine fields

The internships are spread across nine directorates: Technical, Finance, HR and IT or Operations, Legal, Commercial, Procurement, Land and Estate, GIS, and Audit. Each lists the degrees it accepts. You must apply to the one that matches your degree.

GIS stands for Geographic Information System, the mapping software used to plan land and roads. A development authority uses it daily, so this seat is a real one for geomatics and remote sensing graduates, who have few paid internships to choose from.

Commercial covers business development, marketing, sales, PR and media. The Technical group covers engineering, planning, architecture and project management.

You must be a fresh graduate aged 25 or under

CBD Punjab sets four conditions. You need at least 16 years of education, a CGPA of 3.0 or more, an age of 25 or under, and you must be a fresh graduate. Your degree must be complete on the day you apply, not due next semester.

• Education: at least 16 years, which means a four-year bachelor's degree or a master's.
• CGPA: 3.0 or higher.
• Age: 25 years at most. The page does not give a cut-off date for counting age.
• Status: fresh graduates only.
• Degree: from an HEC-recognised institution in Pakistan. A foreign degree should be issued properly and, where it applies, verified by HEC.

If your degree is from abroad, start the HEC degree attestation now. It takes longer than a two-week application window. Final-year students waiting on results do not qualify this round.

The page also says your degree must be relevant to the directorate you pick. A BBA applying to GIS will not be shortlisted, however strong the CGPA.

Apply online through CBD Punjab's careers portal

The Apply Now button on the program page opens CBD Punjab's recruitment portal, careers.accelerec.com/career/pcbdda. You create an account, fill in your profile, and apply to the internship for your directorate. Do it before 12 October 2026.

2. Click Apply Now. It opens CBD Punjab's careers portal in a new tab.
3. Sign up with your email and create a profile. The careers page links sign-up at seeker.accelerec.com/register.
4. Pick the internship in the directorate that matches your degree.
5. Upload your details and submit before 12 October 2026, then use the same login to check your status.

We opened the portal link on 28 September 2026. It loads through a security check, so we could not see the form fields or the list of openings from our side. Keep your CGPA, CNIC and degree details ready. Apply a few days early: government portals slow down near a closing date, and a late form does not count.

CBD Punjab's main careers page says you can check the status of your application or update your profile after you log in.

Only shortlisted candidates are called for interview

CBD Punjab says it will contact only shortlisted candidates. If you are called, you must bring your original degrees and any experience letters to the interview. The Authority can accept or reject any application without giving a reason.

So silence is the answer for most applicants. Do not wait on it. Apply to other programs in the same window, such as the CM Punjab Internship Program, or the NADRA graduate internship when it next opens.
