ChatGPT Pro 100, 200 or 500 in Pakistan: Which Plan Should You Buy?
ChatGPT Pro costs $100, $200 or $500 a month, roughly Rs 27,700 to Rs 138,500. See what changes on 29 October, who needs Ultrafast and which tier fits you.
ChatGPT Pro has three monthly tiers: Pro 100 at $100, Pro 200 at $200 and Pro 500 at $500. OpenAI names GPT-6 Pro in Chat for Pro 100 and Pro 200. Only Pro 500 includes Ultrafast mode. New Pro 200 subscribers get a lower usage allowance than before.
At about Rs 277 to the dollar, the tiers cost roughly Rs 27,700, Rs 55,400 and Rs 138,500 a month before bank fees and tax. That is a serious bill in Pakistan, so the choice matters. We read OpenAI's Pro tiers help page and its GPT-6 models page on 22 October 2026. This is what they say and what it means for different users.
Pro 100, Pro 200 and Pro 500 differ in usage and Ultrafast
OpenAI says Pro 200 includes more usage than Pro 100, and Pro 500 offers the highest included usage of the three. Ultrafast, a lower-latency mode for GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol, is available only on Pro 500.

OpenAI does not print message counts for the Pro tiers on the pages we read. It says to check the pricing page and your usage dashboard. So no one can honestly tell you exactly how many tasks $200 buys. Be wary of any site that does.
All Pro tiers include the same core features
OpenAI lists Pro as including Pro models, Codex, deep research, image creation, memory and file uploads. GPT-6 Pro, which runs on GPT-6 Astra, is available in Chat on Pro $100 and Pro $200. It is not unlimited, and Pro 100 and Pro 200 limits differ.
OpenAI's release notes say on 16 October that GPT-6 Pro in Chat got faster responses, better use of plugins and tools, and several agents working on parts of a task at once. That rolls out to eligible Pro users. Compared with Plus, which has no Pro option in Chat, this is the main reason to pay more.
Pro 200 changes on 29 October for newer subscribers
OpenAI says anyone with an active Pro 200 subscription from 22 September to 10 a.m. Pacific Time on 29 September 2026 keeps the old allowance until 29 October 2026. After that, it moves to the lower allowance at the same $200. New subscriptions already get the lower one.
If you subscribed again after cancelling, you only qualify when you were active inside that window. Keeping the old allowance does not upgrade you to Pro 500 or add Ultrafast. Only affected users receive an email with details. If you are on Pro 200 now, plan work that needs the larger allowance before the deadline.
What happens when you reach a GPT-6 Pro limit
On Pro $200, after the weekly GPT-6 Pro limit, ChatGPT switches to GPT-5.6 Thinking at Medium. On Pro $100, GPT-6 Pro and GPT-5.6 Sol Pro share one weekly allowance, so switching between them gives no extra messages. Your subscription stays active either way.
You cannot raise a limit with a setting, and support cannot reset one. For Work and Codex, Pro plans can also buy credits after the included allowance. Buying credits on Pro 100 or Pro 200 does not unlock Ultrafast. The credit maths is in Fast, Ultrafast and credits explained.
Match the tier to the person
A student or office worker should not buy Pro. A solo developer or researcher who hits Plus limits weekly could try Pro 100. A software house with a long agent queue might justify Pro 200 or Pro 500. Tier up only after watching real usage for a month.
- Start on Plus and check Settings, then Usage, each week.
- Note which model ran out and how often.
- If Plus fails more than twice a month on real work, try Pro 100.
- Move to Pro 200 only if Pro 100 runs dry before the week ends.
- Consider Pro 500 only if lower latency saves paid hours.
Pro is billed monthly only. Cancel in the place you bought it: ChatGPT, Apple or Google Play. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it. A team that shares costs should read the ChatGPT Business seat options first, because a Premium seat is $100 and keeps a company workspace.

What is the difference between Pro 100 and Pro 200?
Pro 200 includes more usage than Pro 100. Neither includes Ultrafast. Both include GPT-6 Pro in Chat with limits.
Is Pro 500 worth it in Pakistan?
Only if Ultrafast speed saves you paid time. At roughly Rs 138,500 a month, most freelancers will not need it.
Can I buy credits to unlock Ultrafast on Pro 200?
No. OpenAI says buying credits on Pro 100 or Pro 200 does not unlock Ultrafast at launch.
Is there a yearly Pro plan?
No. OpenAI says Pro is billed monthly and annual or multi-month payment is not available.
Does Pro include the API?
No. Plans and the API are billed separately. Developers should read GPT-6 API pricing.
Will Support raise my Pro limit?
No. OpenAI says Support cannot reset or raise limits, but will look at usage counted wrongly.
